Wilde spun, growling. He shoved the woozy Anatoly into the wall, surprised by the lack of resistance. "Listen, kid," he said dangerously. "The only reason I stopped was because Stark asked me to. And if there's one thing I'm noticing about you, it's that you always seem to think you have a person figured out. And in this organization, kid, you'll die if you keep thinking that." He turned back to Mike as he released Anatoly, speaking to them both. "That's another thing that a real Blazer keeps in mind," he said, glancing at Anatoly as he stressed the word. "Never assume that you know you know your opponent. Not even us at the top know exactly what Stark can do. That's why you always act as though you know nothing about your opponent. Clear?"
Crash nodded slowly as he withdrew the Stickers. "Choice made. I must say, I approve." He turned away. "You have a few hours, you know. You don't need to go to bed yet, although you are certainly free to do so. I'll be in my quarters." With that, he left.

Mike hid a grin. To him that was a pretty basic rule, You never underestimate an opponent you don't know and never trust what you know about those you do. It was a personal law of his that had kept him safe, or at least safer, throughout his life.

Anatoly had moved with the shove, in no mood to resist. "Well, we'll see about that next challenge day, won't we?"

Blaine turned to Nathan and Anna, "I'm gonna go do something, I'll see you guys in a few." he announce before turning and leaving after Crash.
A few moments later he found Crash's quarters and knocked on the door.

Wilde smirked. "Oh yeah, we will. And you can bet I won't go easy on you." He opened one of the doors. "And now we begin. I want you two to go in there, and neither of you comes out until Mike here can maintain a perfect ice prism for an hour, and you can maximize the charge out of Joy Buzzer while keeping Skulltap primed at max capacity." He smiled nastily. "Have fun."
Crash opened the door, an eyebrow raised as he smiled slightly. "Yes?"

"Hey, uh, Crash, can I talk to you for a bit? I wanted to ask some questions." Blaine said.

Crash nodded. "Of course. I enjoy talking to my fellow Guardians. Come on in." He stepped aside, allowing Blaine access. "What did you want to ask about?"

Blaine stepped in, "Thanks." he said as he did. He took a seat in the nearest chair, "Where did you learn to become such a great fighter?"

Anatoly primed Skulltap. "Oh, joy. By the way, my name is Anatoly. Nice to meet you, I suppose," he said, turning to Mike.

Crash smiled widely. "Thanks for the compliment, but I'm nothing special. Why, my old Master could whup me in no time flat." He stroked his chin as he sat down and thought. "Well, let me see. I trained in Japan and China for about 13 years. I was in the military for 7, and I've been a frontline Blazer for over 10. Hell, some days I think they only made me a General because I'm tough." Blaine knew this wasn't true, however, because he had seen Crash's analytical and tactical skills firsthand. "Why do you ask?"

"I'm sure we'll manage too." Mike said to Wilde before entering the room. "My name's Mike, the pleasure's all mine." he said already having put Ice 1 on the back of his hand concentrating, trying to see what he was capable of doing. So far he didn't see any difference around his hand, but he was certain that he would figure out the trick to this soon enough. If not then he might ask for help, but he'd rather try to figure it out for himself at first.

Jesus, how old is he? Blaine wondered. He was at least thirty, that is, if he had started his training at birth. Was he in his forties? Fifties? Who knew. "I ask because, well, I feel that my hits were earned because I got lucky, not because of skill." he began to explain.

Mike could feel...something. He was reminded of a rather large poop, that one could feel but could not bring forth. Maybe if he continued focusing...
((Sorry bout that analogy, but that was all I could think of.))
Crash smiled slightly. "And why do you think that? There's more to being a Blazer than just martial skill."
