James stopped at the doors to the castle and waited for Fauxe. "Wait here for a sec. I got some ground rules."

"Something like that. Rule uno, No doing anything stupid. Rule dos, Don't let your guard down. Rule three, Treat everyone as hostile. Got it?" said James pulling out his revolver.

"So you mean let my vampire senses out right?... Oh I forgot to tell you... Since I'm a Moroii, I've been supressing my vampire powers... That's maybe why I can handle being around you without getting to your throat..." Fauxe said hugging James... "Are we going in?"

Fauxe followed closely behind James, holding onto his arm... "This place reminds me aof a bigger version of my mouseleum..." He whispered, staring a the grotesque and elowuent manner of the castle's design.

James walked down the main hall. "I know that this place is creepy but for the sake of it, act like you got a pair." he said in a whisper.

"A pair of what?" Fauxe said, joking... He looked around and into the halls, when they past a corridor leading into a library... Fauxe wandered into there, looking around silently, smelling the air and making sure it was safe...

Kirai came up behind them, without speaking, she sent the thought to both their heads "I've been watching you. It is rather rude to enter a home before asking. However, no worries. I have already spread orders for others to stay out of sight for you two." She was dressed in a black button-up blouse with bell sleeves, a black under-bust waist clincher, a black knee-length skirt with layers and ribbons and a princess style petticoat underneath, and black mary janes with heels along with her lace stockings. Her eyes were blue, hair down long with blond curls, and a black lace headdress rested on the side of her head. A large red gem necklace hung around her neck, and rings adorned every finger.

Fauxe ignored her... He was too busy looking at books... He picked up one and started flipping through it... he muttered... "Nice trick lady... And who might you be?"

"Well maybe I should be the one acting like I have a pair." he said to Fauxe. He turned back to the lady. "But that does make me wonder who are you?"

She vanished, then came up behind Fauxe. Her hands were folded in her lap. Looking down at the book he was reading, she turned and walked back to where James was. Kirai stopped about five feet from him, and asked in a calm voice, "James, pleased to meet you. Your friend Fauxe has a good taste in books." She bowed for a moment, then returned back to her incredibly good posture. "I take it neither of you wish to meet with Avarice. Very well then, you are guests." Being a strigoii, she could tell their names among other things immediately. "As for my name, you may call me Kirai."

Fauxe, even though he looked calm and collected, had shivers running downhis spine... He set the book down and walked next to James ; the safest place for him to be... "Are there others living here?"

"So much for faking names, shes a damn mind reader." James whispered over to Fauxe. He turned back to Kirai "I would love to meet Avarice. After all it would even the odds if something were to happen." He said with a smile. "I like to keep things fair."
