Usagi remembered the vague exchange of the name 'Kabuto' at the begining of his training with Nieda and Dean. He had heard of the young man who, over 20 years ago, helped Orochimaru as his right hand man. Sound was forever known as 'Orochimarus country' dispite the fact that all the former sannin did was just help bring their shinobi up in power.
He choughed and fiegned an elderly voice as he asked a near by person a question.
"Excuse me, do you know where I can find a person by the name of Kabuto?" Usagi asked a near by merchant. The merchant didnt notice that it was a young man asking the question and not an eldery person.

He scratched his head as a light bulb seem to light up his memory.
"Yeah, he walked past here about 10....maybe 20 mins ago following a young girl with pale eyes." He said as Usagi bowed even lower and thanked the man. He walked away as a sudden realization came into his head.
Pale eyes....Sound...Sayuri said she had something to attend to....no way it cant be....this guy could rip her to shreds! What does she want with Kabuto?! He thought as he broke into a run and made his way through the village, hoping that he might not be too late if it was his teamate that was in trouble...

This feeling of constantly being watched really annoyed Sayuri. She was starting to believe that it would've been best if she had just stayed in the Hidden Heaven. "No!" she thought. "Don't think like that. Your a ninja now. Everyone has to make sacrifices. This is just a steppng stone to mastering a new jutsu. Everything will be fine. You've got Jutsu Shou now, and with the Byakugen, you'll be able to predict what your opponent will do" As she though this, Sayuri scoulded herself for not using Byakygen earlier, she forgave herself as she realised it would've just led her follower to believe that she was on to him, or her.
There was a two hundred metre distance between her, the stalker and the clearing. Sayuri began to visualize evey possible scenario and all the things that could go wrong, preparing herself for the confrontation.

Usagi closed the gap to less than 50 meters between Sayuri and her follower, the infamous Kabuto when Usagi jumped to the left and hid in the shrubbery. He knew that the Byakugan had a range of effectiveness just like his Chakra Aura so if he could keep out of that range, he could keep an eye on her as he puckered his lips and created an inaudible wisper.
"Harmoics." He wispered as his field of 'veiw' doubled. He silently made is way up the trees and across, with almost no sound as he kept his 'eyes' on the Kabuto, cause Sayuri was out of his range of 'sight'. If he needed to, he knew just the move to give them the ample time to escape. He had heard rumors of Kabutos powers back from the Godaime Hokage...so who new what caused him to surivive for 20 years after Orochimarus death..

The distance was now 150 metres. All the suspense was driving her insane. Without any other idea, Sayuri decided to examine the scenary, as to calm down her nerves.
All the trees had a dark brownish-blackish bark, and we extremely thin for a tree. There leaves were a greenish colour, which stood out among their dark bark. Even the grass was dark green, and seemed so lifeless as it barely reacted to the blowing wind. Unlike the Hidden Heaven, the Hidden Sound barely seemed to have any wild animals inhabiting it's forests. Either that or all the forest animals seemed to have the skills of a ninja when it came to being discrete (((spelling))). Realising that gazing at the forest only made her feel worse about where she was, Sayuri decided to go to the sky. No matter where you were, the sky would never fail you

Usagi couldn't 'see' Kabuto but his chakra energy was incredibly stunted on purpose to conceal him, which made it even hard to keep track of in him the aura.
The moon chuunin took some time to pull a small scroll from his flak pouch as he extended it and pressed a thumb on the paper. It created a small plume of smoke as an 8 foot long black staff appeared in thin air. It had a white grip tape in the middle and its ends extended out in maticulous and beautiful carvings that hid cracks for hidden compartments. It was Usagi's Staff, the aptly named Dissonace. He tucked the scroll inside his jacket and into the pocket as he held the staff in his left hand. He kept his main right hand open just in case.

It seemed today that even the sky was failing her. Though it was a light blue, the clouds seemed muddy, and , and...... Unpure. Juts loking at them sent a shiver up Sayuri's spine. "I don't like this......
I don't like this one bit!" she thought in disgust. Wishing someone was her beside her, Sayuri activated the byakugen as silently as she could, hoping that her stalker wouldn't notice it.
Two things made her heart skip. The first one was the fact that her follower was Yakushi Kabuto, Orochimaru's most dedicated follower. What on earth was he doing here? An why was he following her?
The second discovery was far better. No more then 50 metres behind them, Usagi was trailing them. "Yay, that just about doubles our chances of putting up a fight agains this guy!"

Usagi felt a pair of eyes land on him as he checked his aura for any other people in the area. He soon realized it was Sayuri even though he couldnt spot her, she was still outside of his aura.
Damn....I hate the byakugan sometimes.... Usagi thought to himself as his staff began to change slightly. Every engraving on the staff lit up with a dull dark blue tint as he readied his escape plan. It was daytime so he knew that this wouldnt be as effective but its use in this case for for a hasty escape only. He pulled out 2 kunai and twirled them in his right hand as he waited, somewhat impatiently as he heard rumors of Kabutos almost endless patience. The only reason Usagi seemed to want to get this over with is because he knew the person who Kabuto was stalking....and she wouldnt be able to get out of their with her life if she was careless...and even if she wasnt there was no garrentee....

"Alright", she thought. There's 50 metres between here and the clearing. When I get to 25 metres, I'll make a run for it. When I reach the clearing, hopefully Usagi will be ready for whatever Kabuto has in mind for us. But if it's Kabuto who's trailing us..... There's probably a chance that he knows that both me and Usagi know of his presence. Lets just pray he doesn't know what we've got in mind too"
It was after this that Sayuri realised just how much of a challenge this was going to be.... Both her and Usagi were on the same team, but they had no idea what the other one had in mind. When you add the fact that Kabuto has a whole new agenda of his own........ This is all going to equal a big, fat mess.

Sayuri's heart was leaping out of her chest. The sound of the beat rang through her whole body. The butterflies in her stomach were having a party down there, and Sayuri's body felt like it weighed a ton.
"35 metres"
t Whe it came to trying to keep her breathing regular, Sayuri was failing terribly. Her face was red, her heart's beating could be heard a mile away, and the butterflies succeeded in making her stomach want to throw up.
"30 metres"
There was no going back now. Sayuri inhaled a deep breath, preparing for the finaly sprint. "My god, I never, ever, ever want to be in this position again!"

"Now why would two strangers be sauntering their way into my villages territory so oddly? Is this an scouting party for an invasion?" A voice directly behind Usagi whispered. The hunched over moon ninja froze and realized Kabuto had spotted him. He could feel head the cutting of blade to air as his kunai tried to swipe Usagi from behind. The blad struck into weighted coat, sparks of metal on metal flew as the old man looking ninja went to counter attack. He flung one kunai at Kabutos direction as Usagis mind raced.
Scout for invasion? His village? Stories used to never say about his national pride.....whats he getting at? Usagi thought as Kabuto tried to strike from above. Usagi whipped his staff out as he blocked the oncoming attack and jabbed his remaining Kunai up in the air. He impaled his opponent, who poofed away in smoke.
"Crap....he knows im here....i gotta get out of here....and she needs to too...." Usagi said as his hunched over figure started racing across the floor as he tried to close the gap between him and Sayuri. His staff seemed to glow a little brighter all on its own.

"s**t,' Sayuri said out loud, realising how long it had been since she had last spoken.
Sayuri turned around to find Usagi running towards her with Kabuto by his heels. "Double s**t," she replied as she drew a kunai out of her back pouch. "What a mess. I cam here to learn a new jutsu, and I got this instead!" she complained as she readied herself.
She'd never fought a jounin before, let alone a healing nin. She'd have to attack when Usagi was at her side. She couldn't risk hurting him.
It seemed that the only good things that had happened over the past thirty seconds was the urge to vomit had gone and the butterflies had finally decided to calm down.

Usagi yelled out to Sayuri as he felt the dectection of a new clone behind him.
"Sayuri! The real Kabuto is in front of you! We need to scram!" he yelled as he threw his staff into air, its blue twinge exploding to the tip as a disk of pure black shot into the air. "Night of the New Moon!" Usagi yelled as the disk obstructed the sun and everything turned into a dissorienting twilight, during the day, the sun would over power the technique, turning the sky into a golden and red mess that seemed other worldly and hurt the eyes, at night the technique was flawless, engulfuing the area into utter darkness, making his opponents know what it was like to be him.

The clone on his heels paused momentarily at the obsticle in the sky as Usagi flung his Kunai at it. Attached to the end was an exploding note as the clone blocked the attack. Unfortunately the kunai exploded, poofing the clone away.
A flash of steel drew blood on Usagis cheek as Kabuto threw his own kunai and hit his mark. His cheek stung as Usagi knew right away it was poisoned. Its effects were an inner burning in his body as if felt hard on his hearing senses. He prayed Saryuri wouldnt be too disoriented as he stepped infront of her and spoke in his wisperlike voice.
"We....gotta go....he thinks......scouts....invasion.." he panted as the poison was begining to make his blood feel like it was boiling.

(((Sorry, normally i would heal you, but we got to run and I need to learn the oath first, forgot to do it -_-")))
As Usagi fell towards her, all panic vanished and was replaced by the will to save her team mate. Just before Usagi hit the ground, she dived under him, just missing a kunai Kabuto had thrown at her. As she finally got on her feet, she took Usagis right arm and placed around her neck and wrapped her left armaround his waist. As she lifted him up, he seemed surprisingly light. It seemed the urge to survive had given her a new-found strength.
As the real Kabuto ran at her, he shouted ,"Intruders, Oath breakers, Murders!"
Kabuto's sudden out burst surprised Sayuri, but didn't stop her from jumping up in the air and landing on a dark branch on a tall pine tree, narrowly missing the blow Kabuto had thrown at her. Without a seconds warning, Sayuri jumped from branch to branch, trying her best to keep the distance between her and Kabuto at large and speeding up in the hopes she can get Usagi to a hospital.

Usagi was barely hanging onto conciousness as the small oni popped into his mind once again. He seemed paniced, almost desperate as he spoke to Usagi. "What is this?! You better not go dieing on my master!" He cried as Usagi, even in his mind, seemed fatigued as he spoke.
"Didn't think he would using poisons....hes a crafty ninja that one...." Usagi said as he struggled to keep his mind open and going. The Oni wringed his hands as his hands seemed to glow with brilliant red chakra. He slapped them on Usagis temples as the burning sensation seem to dull, his mind was clearer but the poison was still there.
"There! Kabuto learned his techniques by selling part of himself to our--er my master as well. Remember that! you can die on us!" The small Oni yelled as he faded from View.
----
back in the real world Usagi clutched his staff as it glew blue once again.
"Grab onto me tight Sayuri." he said...which was odd since she was the one carrying him. "Magus: Water Dragon Missile" He commanded his staff into action as mousiture collected at the tip trailing the pair. It erupted into a torrent of water as the rocketed forward. At this speed both left the ground as the missle was the only thing guiding them. He knew they would outrun kabuto at this pace.

As Usagi spoke, his voice seemed clearer then before, which calmed down Sayuri's nerves a bit. As they speed forward, Sayuri attempted a little joke. "Definately not what we planned for, eh?"
But the sound of her croaked voice made her feel no better. "We should get going to Konoha, or at least stop at a hospital here. I've some business to attend to in my home village," she spoke, her voice giving away no clue as to what she had in mind.
(((No really, I need to go to Konoha. First I need to take the oath, as my healing arms are worthless without it, then I need to learn gentle fist, water walking, tree climbing and the art of substitution)))
