Elnara took a deep, long drink from her canteen, then put it back into her bag and slung the bag's strap over Lore's hand gratefully.

"I'm ready," she agreed, linking her arm with his. "And maybe by the time we arrive, my arms won't feel like stones," she added with a laugh.

Haradhel laughed. "Well, with all the time you spend on someone's shoulder or in someone's arms, I would think that wouldn't be so much of a problem anymore," she teased the child, leaving the building and closing the door behind them.

Lin giggled, "But running about is fun, especially when someone hasn't seen you before!"

Or heard of you as the case maybe, she could still if she really tried get strange looks just from her height alone, which she thought was kind of funny. Since she didn't know what was so strange about it.

Lore took it and put in on his shoulder for easy carrying, and so she could fully link his arm with hers, which was something he also liked.

"Maybe," he chuckled at that, "But you did go a long way Elnara, it's only normal they feel like stones."

It would be like him doing the same process over and over again. Like when he decided to be stubborn and write everything by hand.

Elnara smiled. "Three hundred miles," she murmured softly, putting her head on his shoulder. "Yes, a long way indeed. On the other hand, our trip was made shorter by quite a number of days, so it was well worth it."

She paused, then added with a twinge of anxiety, "I've never been so far away from the children ..."

"Do you enjoy startling people?" Haradhel laughed, swinging Lin around a bit. "Honestly, you do stir things up around here."

And not only by startling people but also by making Prince Ruel act in ways that started rumours going.

"Well....." Lin thougth about it for a moment.

Did she like it? Well she did think it was kind of funny since there was, to her nothing unusual.

"Since I get odd looks anyways I might as well enjoy it!"

Lore was about to repeat that in a form of a question, but when he thought about it, it made sense she wouldn't have been this far from the children. Not to mention they hadn't been at the castle long before taking this trip, she had every reason to be worried.

"I'm sure.... that Luthien will keep a good eye on them, and we can head back if you ever feel too nervous about leaving them alone for long periods of time."

Elnara smiled and nodded. "I'm sure I'll be fine," she murmured softly, "once I get used to the idea."

She hugged him tightly around his chest. "But thanks."

Haradhel grinned. "Well, you sure do liven up the place," she laughed.

They soon arrived at the training area, and she looked around for Celebor again.

Captain Eldrin was still teaching the class of beginner trainees, working with the short staff. Despite the fact that all of his class was sweating, he himself was not. It was, after all, quite easy for him after all these years of teaching it.

Further ahead, where the brown met the green, a small figure could be seen. Though the details of the silhouette were - at present - hidden, it appeared to be a person ... perhaps a child. Probably female, since the lower half of the shadow looked like a skirt or dress.

"Is that a good thing?" Lin asked.

Because she was never really sure if that was a good thing or bad thing. Though she would like to believe that her ability to 'liven' things up was a good thing. Unlike Haradhel, Lin wasn't really looking for Celebor, since she was sure he was somewhere.

However she did spot Captain Eldrin, which made her grin, maybe she could visit his house again.

Even though Lore couldn't make out who it was in the distance it was certainly a person. Since, the person in question kind of stood out against all that green grass there. Good eye sight helped greatly of course. Though, the person seemed too small to be an adult.

Celebor was on the far side of the rows of trainees, trying to copy their movements with his new staff. It was harder than it looked, and he kept dropping the staff ... he wondered if he was doing something wrong.

Elnara put one hand to her brow to shade her eyes from the sun's harsh glare and peered forward to examine the shadow that was steadily drawing closer.

"It looks like a little girl," she commented without thinking anything of it. After all, the people who worked on the plantation had been having families there for three or four generations by now.

"I wonder who she is," she added curiously, lowering her hand and looking up at Lore.
