Lois rolled her eyes as she listened to the voicemail
"Lo Lo.. who the hell does she think she is anyway? Need advice my foot. She's probably trying to trick me into something or another. Like I'm stupid enough to fall for her amateurish ploy"
she steamed over it a bit and then texted her back
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?"

Linda looked at the text and rolled her eyes. Typical angry Lois... she texted back..
" TO TALK. I'M AT BLACK HAWKS... CAN WE MEET UP SOMEWHERE?"

Linda rolled her eyes. Lois really needed to loosen up once in a while...bitterness is the path to old maid hood and such. Whatever, Linda didn't call Lois for a shoulder to cry on. She called her cause Lois would be honest with her... even if it was something she didn't want to hear. The last thing Linda wanted was to be around someone who would sugarcoat the truth from her.

Cassie looked at the sleeping figure of Chris and smiled. She then pulled a blanket over him and curled up into bed with him and fell asleep.

Anakin looked at Karen as she explained this Valentine's Day to him as they walked into her room.He somewhat got the idea and could tell Karen was looking forward to it.Anakin still had no idea what to get her though...he would figure something out. Maybe see if he could find anything out about Krypton,..that would probably mean a lot to Karen. He still wasn't sure.. Anakin's thoughts went back to Padme...was the whole thing really her fault? Or was it that the Sith were using her as pawn.No matter, he left her in the care of Obi-Wan and master Yoda, surely they could figure it out. Still Padme knew everything about him and accepted him anyways....But Karen.. if Karen knew about his childhood..would she accept him or look down on him. Being a former slave was nothing to brag about....Whatever,this wasn't the time nor the place for such things. He looked at Karen and wrapped his arms around her as he looked into her eyes.
"I'm glad you're alright. I missed you..."
Anakin then gently kissed Karen, first passionately on her lips and then softly on her cheek and forehead. He held her tightly,it really had been too long since he last saw her at the wrestling match, though they didn't really get any time alone together and right after the whole Trigon thing he had to leave and was barely given the chance to say goodbye to her. Anakin looked at Karen who was still in his arms.
" I only have a few days on Earth and I intend to spend each one of them with you. We can do whatever you like."

"I don't know, Wally. I just don't know. There will have be more tests taken." Wally's Uncle Barry looked at the teenager sitting in his lab, staring at the floor looking dejected.
"There are so many possibilities for what took yours and Karen's powers, so many factors to take into consideration that I can't give you a concrete answer of if....er, when we can give you your powers back." Barry frowned. He had no idea if they could repower Wally, but he didn't want to dash the boy's dreams completely. "Until then, you'll just have to get by without super-speed for a while, I'm afraid."
"You don't understand, Barry!" Wally pleaded. "This is torture! I've had super-speed since I was ten years old. That's one third of my life!"
"I know, son. We're doing the best we can." Barry tapped a finger to his chin. "In the meantime, why not engage with some of the other non-powered students? Get some perspective from them? Consider it some extra credit."
Wally nodded. Hang out with the Civvies. The Normies. The Flatscans. Whatever you wanted to call them. That was where he belonged, now. He'd probably have to become a journalist.
Well, that was slightly preferable to being a mechanic. And it would give him a chance to be around Linda some more. Try to figure out just what her deal was.
"All right, thanks. And you'll let me know as soon as you find the cure, right?"
"Of course." Barry watched Wally leave and frowned. Like a cure was such a sure thing.

Karen wanted to melt in his arms, he was so strong and gentle. How was he so perfect? And would perfection want her? With out her powers, she was nobody. Just another norm. How could he even be in the same room with her?
She looked up in his eye and could get lost in them she almost didn't register him speaking to her at all. But his muffeled words at first soon became clear as day and she swooned.
"Don't worry handsome, I'm not letting you out of my sight for a second."
She chuckled.
"But I was thinking. Why don't we get some food? I sure could use something to eat. Are you hungry?"

Linda Lang sighed longingly at all the couples holding hands and exchanging sweet kisses. She envied them, even those who weren't with someone still had someone whom they shared their heart with. Like the Witchblade and that Magical boy.
She donned her glasses once again and put her hair up, then proceeded to walk to the Glowing Lantern. They called it that since it was open 24/7, it was a cyber cafe for those who wanted to stay up with they're computers and laptops. All those lights made the building look like it was glowing. Hence the name.
She sat on a big comfortable chair with her sPad in her lap and began to look up everything she could on Valentine's day. It would be magical. This year she was determined to get a kiss on Valentines day!

"Valentine's day is not for a few days.. But I was wondering If you wanted to do something special on that day we could cook for each other. It would be very romantic." She batted her eye lashes playfully. "But for now, I'm starving. lets go order something, Chinese sounds good! That way we can relax after all we've been though."

Anakin was nervous when Karen mentioned cooking...he wasn't much of chef to say the least. Then she said Chinese would be okay and he sighed in relief. Anakin took out his cell phone and called out for Chinese. He then looked over at Karen.
"We should watch a movie to...where do you keep your... DVDs?"
He believed DVDs were what films were stored on Earth.

*Hero High has more rooms than anyone on the staff or student body realize. Constant renovations due to attacks on the school have resulted in rooms being boarded over and walled up.
One such room, an abandoned faculty lounge, was the meeting place of the Secret Six. Deadshot, Catman, Scandal, Knockout, Chesire and Ragdoll were all present. The subject of the meeting: Danielle Baptiste.*

Linda sat in Black Hawks drinking root beer and eating cheese fries.It had been almost an hour now and Lois still hadn't shown up. Either Lois was playing her "I'm Lois Lane' card or she was out drooling over Superboy. 30 more minutes...Linda would give her thirty minutes and if Lois didn't show after that..well she must've bailed on her.
