my life just sucks...I bought a dress for hallows eve but my parents found out and they got made that I paid an exorbant amount...too much...and now they're saying I should give it away.....I mean I should keep it...I bought it...and it's not like I'm going to wear it more than once....*sigh*

I wish i could tell them how I feel..... crying

You're a legal adult in Canada, right? It's your money, your stuff.
I know how hard it is to be so defiant and still have to live with them... but if it's important to you- regardless of how silly your parents are being over a Halloween costume- they should at least try to understand.
