River sighed nodding a funny feeling eruping in her stomach."..I..was Dieing.." She stressed the word 'was' just to make it clear she was getting a bit better."..When my hair and body both start to lose life my hair will start to turn pink.." She played with one of the strands and smiled."..It used to be five inches or so down..well hidden so not many see it, but it's just one inch now..Hopfuly it won't get worse.." She blinked staring at lily's ears with a smile of amusment and sighed looking down at her hands."..I don't want to be healed If I die it is my fault you know?...I..I just don't know where I would go, because I won't bring myself back again."

"Only his owner can.. make a wish" she whispered softly. Ukaia's stomach turned a bit. Not good. This was not good at all. She looked at jake.. and then smiled a bit
"I guess.. you can put your claws away li9ttle brother" she said quietly trying to look relaxed

"What do you mean, don't know where you'd go?" Lily asked, one ear flopping over completely. Then it clicked, she thought, and she frowned slightly. "Do you mean... when you die? Are you talking about the after life?"

Blinking River nodded faintly," It makes me over think what I've missed in the life on this planet and it makes my cheast lurch..." She set her hand on herself softly staring at lily for a moment confusion evident."..I'm not from here.." She said softly before rubbing a spot just in the middle of her coller bone a little above it."..Will you help me with somthing?.." She asked in a muffled voice as she looked down at herself, thinking this through hard.

Ukaia sighed and then managed to scoop him up and stand witha bit of diffuculty
"i don't know .. and there's nothing you could have done.He woudl have made tomo stop you had you done that"she said to him soothingly

Lily watched her for a moment, then gave a warm smile. "If it's something that is within my power, I will gladly help you, River." she told the woman quietly. "What is it that you need?"

Ukaia took him into her own room and tucked him in. Then she went downstairs for nw looking ab it distressed. How had that man managed to make a wish from tomo.. She waved vagulyin the direction of Lily and River

"..AS long as you are not afraid..." River held out her spare hand as her nails started to dig into her own skin, her face unmoved not a flinch of pain showed as she dug deeply into her flesh, blood seeped out slowly as she seemed to be searching for somthing, still waiting for Lily's hand."..It does not hurt me I just need a little assistance.." She seemed to be calculating many things in her head as she found what she wanted and her arms musles visibly tnesed up as she pulled hard on what she had reached for, pulling the small tube full of wires out of her chest with a soft sigh of pain finally coming out as her eyes narrowed and she swallowed pulling a bit more with difficulty.

Carefully shifting Arlen so that no blood would drip on him, Lily held out her hand, still not completely sure what River wanted her to do. Seeing the wires, she blinked, confused. "What is..."

":Uh.. wh.. what is going on?" she asked quiet startled

"..Long story.." She mused through clenched teeth as she took lilys hand."..Can you pull it out?.." she asked looking down at it breifly before looking back at lily in a despret pleed to get the source of some pain and angst out of her body. "..I can never get it past this part, it wont come out my body just gives up to early.." She blinked blankly, if she couldn't do it someone else had to help her out a bit. the small tube was about a foot or so long inside of her, just bending when it needed to, one of the only things left that she had of the labratory.
