"We're going to Honorsfield, to visit the former Oracle at her request."

Malik eyed them both quite critically. after all, the last thing he needed was galesen having yet another affair, adn this time with Isle. Zahara woudl sacrifice him to some god or goddess in a heartbeat.

Letting Ramoth move back near Serino and the others, giving a riase of the eyebrow to Piper.

"We haven't the resources I think for that. but...it might prove entertaining. give Galesen a real challenge without risking killing him just yet. Maybe even give Laudi a real fieldtest."

then a pat to Nightmare.

"and none of the shadowwalking or windracing this trip there. I want you to get some familiarity to the Underdark, Isle, outside my domain. Once we arrive, be mindful of your actions. Unlike Andal, there's no Brigade type enforcement here. what you do falls on your head first, then mine."

Her eyes turned to Galesen. "Oh so you learn quickly. How nice." Shaking her head lightly and then reaching into her belt pouch once more, drawing out that commonplace sunspot holder and using it for her eyes again. After all, she wanted to see all of this now didn't she? "Aw, he cares, how sweet. But alright, I'll keep my hands to myself and behave."

Piper shrugged lightly. "Well you need something to keep yourself occupied with these days that involves energy expention and somewhat of a challenge." Looking to the two others in company of them. "Yes, please behave yourselves. Arthur, you're more than welcome to come with us to Meilikki, that is if she permits. Though to her the definition of family is quite...varied." Her eyes turning to Malik. "Shall we head off then?"

A tug to daddy's tunic. "I wanna lead her." Meaning of course that he wanted to hold Ramoth's reins and think that he was the one doing the veritable driving. Even if he wasn't really because the horses more or less knew this place inside and out by now what with thier wandering.

Arthur shot Isle a playful look and shook his head. "I rode a zephyermare, I was just playing fair with you." He said with a tiny smile though he happened to feel Malik's eyes upon him, he just hated how that drow always had to get into his business no matter what he was doing. "Alright then well I'm ready to go." But he paused for a moment as he listened in on Piper's and Malik's warnings and gave a small shrug. "I've lived there for most of my life so I got no reason to worry, but since I've haven't lived there in awhile I should keep an eye out for any trouble." Petting Brahnel's side lightly he gripped the stallion's mane lightly as he watched the others with a bit of interest hoping they would leave soon. "Well thanks for the invitation Piper, if she allows me to see her then that's fine if not then I don't really mind I can walk around the place for old time's sake." So he positioned himself on Brahnel's back, tucking his legs at the base of the stallion's wings like he was told and waited until the others were so they could leave.

"Alright, you hold the reins, but be careful."

Letting his son have the reins and nodding to Piper.

"I'll mention it. see if there's any support for such a thing. So then...whomever's going...lets head on out. and do try to keep up. I beleive someone wants to go really, really fast."

A slight grin at his son.

"Meilikki always did like the tournaments...when they were legitimate that is." Recalling information that was old yet never lost from their very first conversation. It was so nice to do that wasn't it. But a look to Arthur then, "Don't worry about crossing water, he won't need his wings. He's got special shoes that will fix that problem. No need to tire his wings." Thus a click of her tongue to get Serino going, knowing all to well that that boy would get what he wanted and well Ramoth wouldn't take too kindly to a lazy slow start Serino.

Of course eagerly taking up those reins with a little nod about being careful. Happy day for him indeed. Dad said yes. Or at least that was what sprang into his mind at Malik's little sentence and with dad's yes, well...time to go and go really really fast. A pull back on Ramoth's reins and then a snap of them as well as a little kick with his heels. Hey he knew how to do this, he'd been riding with his parents enough times. Besides, Ramoth liked to go fast anyway.

"Ah, how long has it been since I've been someplace new? I do believe that I've almost scoured every corner of that plane, save for the Depths." But it was time to be off now wasn't it? Seemed so as horses more or less fell into line as they started off. Really really fast? She would love nothing more.

The small pale dot that was the elvish child lay on the crown of the sleeping dragon. No one was able to teach him his lessons, so Tarathiel had all the free time in the world today. The child figured that it woudl be wonderful to play with Lavi all day, but the dragon had taken a nap three days prior, and seemed to be disinterested in waking up. So, the child climbed up the reptilian creature's body, and sprawled himself across the brow, looking into the chasm above him. How endless it seemed, save for where moss grew giving the illusion of starlight.

The sound of rolling flames echoed in the near distance. The young elf sighed, and rolled off the dragon's head. And went back inside the manor.

"Well where we be going wont be bad, just keep your mind open and things will go good." he pointed out to Isle as he gripped Brahnel's mare a little tighter as they got ready to go. Then at once they all set off for Honorsfeild, following in a bit of a line as Arthur took up the rear since his stallion didn't know the way there yet so he had to follow Piper or Malik at least.

Fin and Leaf were sitting at a very grungy tavern table. The climate was much like any other tavern in any other semi-poor nation throughout all of Labyrinth. THe smell of booze lingered gently in the air, and the wood was sticky with the many abuses of the patrons over the years, or days, of its use. The climate was unpleasent to most, but for the rowdy drinking men of Deep Water, it was a very popular spot.

Which brings us to the reason why the heroes were there. To put it simply, drinking men are more readily convinced of their coins through a grand performance than those of a sobre nature. SO, a few nights a week, the bard Lore always stopped into one of the drunken nests to fill his purse.

The bard was currently performing on the stage, rousing the men's thirst (perhaps by magical means, but not necessarily) and filling a large wooden box with 'donations' to his songs. He was quite good at rousing the moral of the unsavory characters in the bar.

"He's almost done." Fin said to assure himself more than Leaf. "I'm pretty sure he's almost done."

Leaf, in all her expressionless glory, looked even more so in this bar. "I sincerly hope so. I do not wish to stay in this place any longer than neccesary." She shifted. "I hope it is beer that my feet are stepping in." Making referance to the many numbers of fluids that could be squelching under her feet.

Her hand flexed over the dirk on her thigh.

Malik let his son race the mare over land and water, leaving a brightly blazing trail of flame and shadow...his affairs for the moment left to Sevilin and Broog, both quite capable in thier respective departments. and it wasn't until the cityscape of Honoursfield showed itself that Malik took the boys hands nad made him slow down. while Ramoth was a powerfully built and fast mare...racing her flaming into the city was a surefire way to get in trouble. or set something on accidental fire that certainly wouldn't be taken as accidental.

Fin drew his eyes out of their stupor, and smiled warmly at Leaf. "I don't like it here either."

A few songs passed, and a third person was happily sitting at their table, expressing his great delight over such a nice and clean haul.

"Hello Lore, I've been running defense for the Purians as of late." Fin said, "Sorry about leaving suddenly and not sending any messages."

"Aye, we all have our calling. Me for song, story and legend, you for what ever you elvish hero types do." Lore waved his genteel hand in a very arrogant manner. His facial feature emphasised his elfish nature, but he wore a small goatee and mustash which marked him as half elf. His rather heavy for an elf feature looked rather devilishly hansome in some lights, and fiendish in others. "What may I, you long and faithful friend, do for you?"

"We are looking for the Temples of the Elements where the Five Pu-"

"Pure elements are kept under lock and key, hoping to gain some magical benefit are we? Perhaps, you swore to give yoru lady friend a lovely wedding gift?"
PostPosted: Sat Nov 18, 2006 10:24 pm

She listened to the songs, whether she was moved in any way you could not tell.

"We are searching for the elements under the unstruction of the Oracle to set in motion the taming of the rampant poison beast on the surface." Spoken fast, before Fin could say anything. "This is larger than any two elves."

Fin nodded in agreement.

Lore on the other hand smirked with the fires of entropy buring brilliently in his eyes. "Oh, so you are on a date." He looked at Fin as though lued thoughts were being emitted striaght from the pure elf's imagination.

"Its a quest to restore the surface, Lore."

"But still, its a date." Lore leaned back and took a more serious expression. "You can reach each temple by gaining the aid of the Chormatic Sages. They dwell in the Entropic Sanctuary to the north. Since, it is a date, I cannot but insist on paying the ferry fee for my lovely cousin." Lore stood up. "Follow me, and we will get you where you need be." THe half elf began walking steadily out of the tavern.

"Thank..." Fin stood up, and looked at Leaf with a confused expression. "I guess we should hurry." So he did.
PostPosted: Sat Nov 18, 2006 10:33 pm

Leaf was also confused. "We're on a date?" She followed, only too happy to be out of the tavern. "In thought we were on a quest."

She was not sure what to think of this Lore, but seeing as how he was paying for them to travel, she would not make her decision until latter.

She hurried after Fin, fixing her array of weapons as she went. They never seemed to fit right.

Well he just felt accomplished now didn't he? Which of course meant that when it was time to give back the reins, he did so without any fuss. Then again why would he want to have to pay attention to leading a horse where there were all of a sudden all these new things around her tp focus on instead, right? Of course. This little him gave up the reins as he took an interest in the world aroudn him. It was so great to go new places sometime.

Isle more or less shared in the boy's regard to the place as they got mingled into the general populace. After all, she was much the child in the candy store with the change and it perhaps took a bit of self control to not just slip down and go gallavanting around the place.

All too familiar a trip to be made, though non the less looked forward to. "Honorsfield once again. Much more preferred to what it was..." In her opinion anyway. Though a glance at her son, giving a smile at the light in his eyes and how he was sucking up the experience. And a chuckle at Isle, who shared the look. "Yes, let's just all behave shall we? Come on then, we can stare later." Which of course meant it was no time at all before the little group was more or less on Meilikki's doorstep, Piper helping Lharika and Keely down...of course Keely wasted no time running up to the doors and knocking enthusiastically.
