Wolffy000 Tsk tsk tsk. Those without evidence shouldn't open their mouths. In court, evidence is everything. Oh, my, uh, whuh? The hair... o_O Hearing you all talk about Phoenix Wright makes me want to go out and buy it. If I had money, that is. D:
Mmmm, cookie dough ice cream. <3 I have to wonder waht Coldstone's cake batter ice cream would taste like with cookie chunks...

It's as close as I could get it. I couldn't make a Phoenix or a Godot, and I have no real desire to do Von Karma. Either of them, actually. It's a good game, but the first one can be a little hard to find. The second one just came out yesterday, but damn it's tough.

O: I've got to hear my dear complain about that ever since it came out, so I think I'll just go for the second one. Good thing I'm going to the mall tomorrow!
I can't believe I just spent all that money on a Gold Mountain shirt. If I weren't so unfriendly with the casino, I probably could've gotten for a lot cheaper. Oh well.
Oh, great. Now it isn't equipping. <_<;

Oh, great. Now it isn't equipping. <_<; A few small details are off, but it's one of those "You don't really notice so it doesn't matter" things. They didn't have a dark grey color of this hair though, sadly. Just navy and white, and I thought white was better. I got my copy from a local import store that carries a lot of rare games. It wasn't any more expensive than it normally would be, at least. You can probably order a copy online easily if you really wanted it. I do suggest picking it up if you can ever find it. Apparently they've sold out three printings of the game in the US alone. It's kind of amazing. Though the new one should be pretty abundant. Though, like I said, it's really tough. Especially compared to the first one. For a game where you basically go through logical possibilities and present evidence, it's tougher than it sounds. Knowing what to present and when becomes challenging, especially once you've figured out what happened but not how to lead the case to that conclusion.

The dark brownish/grey hair is actually fairly close, too. I had to go and tektek it to make sure, because I do that. It's a shame the 70s Jacket wouldn't layer over the black tuxedo, though. P:
I'll probably try poking around at some places I know to have some hard-to-find games, or some people that know of those places. Or... just order it off gamestop's website, since it's apparently in-stock. I guess I just have to talk people into ordering from the interwebs. 3 printings? That is pretty wowing. If taht's even a word. <<;
Oh, I love those kind of things! heart One of my favorite things we did in Chemistry was get the results of something or the other and work backwards to figure everything out. Of course, that was probably easier than this will be, but it was still awesome.

I have a hard time ordering things online though, so I'm more limited to walking around and finding my things. Luckily it's not too hard for me to find most things when I look. Hooray for connections! Yeah, it's a lot of fun. The first case is always a court only session to get you used to the game mechanics. Find flaws in testimonies and provide evidence until you can prove the innocence of your client (You are a defense attorney, after all). Then you can investigate crime scenes, talk to witnesses, find evidence, stuff like that to try to build a case. Most of the cases start with proving that your client is innocent (or at least give reasonable doubt) and usually winds up with you finding the real culprit. Weird game, but it's a lot of fun. The only thing about the second one is that you get penalized for small things a lot so you have to watch what you do carefully. It's hard to get health back and certain mistakes will cost you most (if not all) of your life in one go.

I just need to get a hold of a credit card/paypal account to order it. So long as I give them the money in advance, I think I could find someone's parents that'd willing to do it for me.
Oh, good. I'd probably end up in over my head without an explanation at the start, which would lead to bad things and a poor, innocent game collecting dust in the corner. That sounds like too much fun! >w<
Weird is good. Games that are out of the norm seem to always end up better than the ones that follow the leader, or something like that. I'm guessing a liking for mystery stories might help with this game?
Yikes, that's kind of harsh... although I s'pose it makes it a bit more like a real court system. Are the mistakes that take out most of your life easy to make?

Yeah, I'm sure you could find someone to do it. They hold your hand a little through the first case, so don't worry about it too much. It just gets tougher right afterwards. Though, there are only 4 or 5 cases in a game. But they take awhile to complete. The really harsh penalties aren't too easy to make, but they do always come in critical moments. Which means there is a good chance you may have screwed up once or twice before then, putting some pressure on you. It's mostly just the fact that you end up jumping from one moment to the next towards the end of a testimony with not much life left, it makes it challenging but it really makes you think through your argument. apparently the court system is loosely modeled after the Japanese court system, but it's still pretty fake. What attorney does crime scene investigations anyway? Let alone all the ridiculous witnesses and such, but hey, thats what makes it entertaining. The personalities of everyone makes the game what it is. And yeah, I dig the out there games. I like a good shooter and all that, but I really like games like Guitar Hero and Trauma Center that take unusual concepts and make them into games. It's more interesting to play something that you've never played before than something you have.

Haha, it seems like everyone does better when thinking under pressure. What attorney? One that has too many jobs, I guess. I see your point on that, I just meant the difficulty in the court room with the way it's easier to get penalized for points. It would make sense that tripping up a few times would make the case harder to prove, from my thinking. Good characters always help to make a good game. x]
Trauma Center for the Wii has to be interesting, since it's probably a bit harder to control everything as opposed to the DS' stylus being right there against the screen. (I probably wouldn't be too good at either version, though, considering how squeamish I am. xD) Cooking Mama is another one I want to try someday, just because I love cooking with a passion. xD

I always thought the introduction of the psyche-locks was a bit unnecessary. Maybe a little on the logical "Let's get something fresh" side, but still, even for a lawyer game with ridiculous witness, a CSI passport, and a whole bunch of made of laws (Statute of Limitations?), the psyche-locks are pushing it I feel.
And yes, let's all go and buy Phoenix Wright Justice for All. The decision for Phoenix Wright 3 is riding on this eek
On another note, my store put it out on rent. It's one of the few that puts DS games for rent.
Speaking of Phoenix Wright "3", I'v been following the scanlation team on Gyakuten Saiban 3 for the GBA (emulator). too bad they seem to be on hiatus after the first Turnabout sweatdrop

Haha... I've never even touched a Nintendo DS. I can't take part in this conversation. *hobbles off to the side*
On another note, I finally got a monitor that displays brightness properly. gonk I never knew that the ends of these sleeves were purple. Also, my drawings will no longer have wonky colors!

Speaking of Phoenix Wright "3", I've been following the scanlation team on Gyakuten Saiban 3 for the GBA (emulator). too bad they seem to be on hiatus after the first Turnabout sweatdrop You're talking about a game where your partner is a spirit medium and regularly calls upon your dead mentor for help which also turns her little body into a voluptuous woman bursting at the seams. I think it's okay, really. It's a rent worthy game since you can finish it in a day or two, but I really like owning it because I know I'll come back to it and show other people it. I played that case too. I suppose the point was that they didn't know if it would ever be translated. At this rate, however, it's pretty likely it will be. Phoenix Wright has become a pretty big cult hit, which makes me happy. And yeah, screw up too much and your client is found guilty. Apparently there is going to be a Cooking Mama for the Wii. I haven't really played much of the DS version though, or Trauma Center. I'm still glad games like these are coming out though.

Unfortunately, he bought Animal Crossing for it right after that and I can't put the damn thing down. D:
I'm so glad we found that comic shop. That was seriously the BEST nerd shop I've been in yet - SO MUCH NERD STUFF!
