I'm anti-tobacco, lol. It was a flavor touch from the artist. Just like the alternate vest. The only things that members truly have is the jacket below that I designed (people in the past have made alternate versions for them) and the tattoo which actually has more purpose then just for looks.   @Koolaid- Person doesnt draw anymore due to life issues.

Mhm, you get to choose where you get it. The most common places in the past were the shoulders. I've always had mine on my neck, since the shoulder had my Anbu Tattoo. I believe ele had his on the chest.

Sorains Boshoku tattoo is on the the front of his shoulder.

Some would argue that Koukon or the original Akatsuki founded by dbl would have gone through a lot as well. Surely Koukon had a major impact on the guild as far as political movements between Kages. However, in truth, it was simply Hatari's doings and not so much Koukon as a group.
