Arthur sighed. "My force is kind of like my family, therefore I have lost many who were close to me" he said. He took the papers. There was going to be hell.

Delton nodded. "I understand. It's never easy to lose an officer," he said. "The world has lost some good men."
After what Delton considered a suitable pause in honor and respect for the deceased, he continued. "However... this is more than an insurance visit. My division in the bureau has begun to notice some peculiar patterns. One issue, I may say plainly," he added, "is the number of terrorist bombings taking place in this general area. One in New Jersey, and two here, in your precinct. There have been three more just outside of New York, in the past two months. Their frequency is accelerating."
Delton paused again, to let all of this sink in. Before Arthur could say anything, though, Delton made his point: "The bureau is looking to have your cooperation in what we would like to call a joint-effort in stopping these criminals. Whether your recent shoot-out is involved or not, something needs to be done."

Trist finally rolled out of bed and grabbed the alarm clock off the bed. The time was... Trist's eyes widened. Late.
She hurriedly took a shower, brushed her teeth, and ran a brush through her hair before throwing on some clean clothes and rushing out to her motorcycle. Seven minutes and forty-two point six seconds getting ready wasn't a bad time, but late was late.

Arthur nodded. "Indeed. It is imperative we bring these terrorists down before they do anymore damage. I would be glad to help with the investigation before more people get hurt" he said.
Just then Arthur's phone rang. "Please excuse me" he said, then picked it up. "District police chief Arthur Rivers speaking" he said.

"Mmm-hmm" Tony said. Guess he may just have to kick Laura to the curb, he didn't want to, but Tony was always deciding things that were best for himself.
Besides, what about that Lawliet guy...
Tony wondered how Lawliet's foot was doing after Tony had shot it.

Danave smirked as he opened the door on his side. Sami was still sleeping in Tony's arms. "Wake your lady up, Senor," he told Tony jokingly as he leaped out, turning to look inside again. Lawliet was still in his computer room looking at all of his data. Suddenly, he picked up an odd reading and started doing more research. "This Felipe may be more dangerous then I thought." He muttered. "Even when I'm not involved, I'm starting to see his name everywhere. How annoying." He unwrapped his bandages, and examined his foot. "It's healing faster then I thought..." He muttered. Then he redressed the bandages. "Me and my stupid word. If Laura didn't make me promise, Felipe's whole organization would be set in smoke." He growled. Lawliet hated competition.
Laura eventually arrived home exhausted. The maids were frantically moving to make her food, clean her wounds, and get her bandages and new clothes. Laura hated the attention but was too exhausted to fight it.

((I highly doubt Felipe's name would be everywhere. It's an undercover company - he wouldn't let his name slip out. And if he HAD to use a name, he would use an alias. NOT his real name. He's smarter than that.))

((When did I ever say Felipe had a Logo?
And if he DOES have a logo, he has several - none can be linked to each other. If he HAD to use a logo, he would probably use a government logo to cover things up.
But he prefers to have things unmarked. No good if people can trace it.))
