*Glancing from side to side, Eecheb pondered where to leave the carton, and turned to trot into the bathroom for a moment. The carton was best left in the sink, plus then he could get something to whipe off his tail. A few seconds later the boy would bolt from the room to try and get to the elevator before the door closed, not that Mastema or Nana would simply let it close on the boy. Also, now Eecheb knew the elevator was again in good working order, so he didn't have to use the stairs if he didn't want to for now. Sliding into the elevator and bumping into Nana's leg, Eecheb finally came to a stop. He'd shake his head briefly before being pat by Nana, who appeared to be smiling lightly at the boy*

Eecheb: o.o || >.> || ........

Zeno couldn't help but snort at the utter nonsense that Mugiri seemed to be spouting out at him. "What the hell are you talking about? I'm telling you not to spy like a cowering little bug. I don't give two BZZTs how strong you are." Zeno rolled his neck a little bit, still pointing his finger with arcing electricity at the man. "So how about you stop hiding and show the people that you're around?"

The elevator would begin its decent to the first floor a moment after Eecheb entered the elevator and was standing beside Nana. On the way down, Mastema made good on his word to get Eecheb something else to drink. Based on past experience, Mastema guessed what it was that the child had mistaken the cream carton for. Raising his free hand, he had Zio bring a similarly sized carton of chocolate milk directly to his palm. "I believe this is what you were really after. If anything, I am sure it will be much more tasteful than cream." He held the carton by its top and handed it down toward Eecheb, who would probably see it when Mastema addressed him.

Eecheb: <.< || Huh? || Yeah that!

*Trusting that this time he had the container, Eecheb quickly grabbed the carton from Mastema's hand and retreated back to where he had been, only now facing away and slightly behind Nana. Ah, now that was much better...! As before Eecheb would bite into the container in order to get at the contents inside. He was just out of view right now, but would likely be noticed once he was off the elevator. Why the lad simply didn't open the top of the carton, was a question only he could answer. Thought likely it had to do with the fun factor of the drink and his way of getting to it*

Mugiri laughed loudly, like he was at a dinner party, "Done." He stood, and turned, taking a bow, "Hello all." He turned back. "Im not a coward, it is commo curiosity and intelligence that will wina fight, or even just protect the smart warrior, as I am sure you know."

"What the hell is this guy on?" was all that Zeno could say as Mugiri announced himself rather abruptly. Zeno just stood on the edge of the building in plain view. Sho's attention was called over to the man as he stepped to plain view; Slayer and Omega were also looking in his direction. "Well," Slayer spoke, "who have we here? Is this the new lad that came around some time ago?"

"Yeah, that's him." Zeno just answered nonchalantly.

Sho decided it best to say hello rather than comment: "Well, uh..... hi! Welcome to our ranks, I guess sweatdrop "

"Don't bother!" Zeno interrupted anything else Sho would say, shouting over to him. "I don't think he speaks english!"

------------------

Inside, Mastema just chuckled lightly as Eecheb retreated with his beverage behind Nana. The boy wasn't afraid of him, if anything. When the elevator reached the bottom floor, Mastema stepped off happily, his arm still linked with Nana's. On the way out, they would notice that Proto wasn't at his usual post.

Mugiri cringed in anger. "I am an assassin, I am trained in several languages, thank you. English is not my best, but I try hard, and I can speak tangible sentences, ending in periods, question marks and exclamation points." He looked to Sho quickly, an aloft look in his eyes, "You who welcomed me, thank you. there are too few good samaritans of late."

Erudemasa shrugged and giggled "If you really want to miss this, then I'll send you back to the present, Xol, but it doesn't take up any time. None of us will perish of Old Age, and I can send us back right when we left. You really might learn something new. And then you'll know. And KNowing is half the battle!" After making a referrence that no one would get for a few more thousand years, Erudemasa rapped the pointer against the table in front of him. "Although, just for future referrence, Xol, time's my balliwick. I can mess with it. None of you can. I mention this, because I see several thousand timelines where you try something stupid to change the past and cause the Bad Stuff I'll explain in my lecture."
Knowing is..half the... what the HELL are you on, kid? Just get on with it -_-; I'm starting to grow impatient aswell. *She crossed her legs, still sitting on the handle of her levitating scythe, and rapped her fingers on it*

*Kyiana merely stood there watching the group around herself. It was becoming irritating to be where they were and to hear the ramblings of the child-like being. She tolerated it though, keeping her face void of any emotion and not even moving an inch while the others all bantered back and forth.*

*The rather abruptness of Mugiri's salutation, startled Trilla. Who was he? The child had not seen his face on the list of people allowed in the citadel, when up in the Mind with Mastema that day... He was someone she didn't reccognize, so was he allowed to be there? The child's disposition changed completely from what it had been moments before. Now she was hiding behind Micha, with a slight pout on her face and lowered brow. Micha of course, seemed indifferent to the man all together, and merely stood there as a buffer between Mugiri and Trilla. Aside from Mugiri, Zenogais was also there. Though he was at times equally as scary, Trilla and Eecheb if he ever showed up still had to apologies to the machine man*

Trilla: ...........

Micha: . . .

*Eecheb was still on the elevator when Mastema and Nana departed from it, until he felt the slight jarring of the elevator as they stepped off. Turning to see what was going on, the boy quickly found himself alone. Realizing that he was quickly being left behind, Eecheb lowered his new beverage carton from his lips and waywardly trotted after both Mastema and Nana. Once he was at about two or three feet behind them, the boy would place the carton back to his mouth, drainning the contents as he walked along. The lad's tail would sway back and forth happily as he wandered along. Rather energetic and enquisitive, Eecheb was ready for anything. He had just had a bite to eat, and now had something good to wash it down, after having a good morning of exercise*

Eecheb: o___o

Yuri paused just in time so that he didn't run into Tysais, having noticed that the man had stopped. He waited patiently for a few moments as he scanned over some strange device before heading off again, Yuri walking along in his wake. He nodded softly at Tyrsais' comment and took note of their change in course as they walked, heading towards wherever the elder was. As he walked, Yuri couldn't quite help but notice a strange... presence..... directly ahead of them. It kind of reminded him of Tyrsais, though different in a subtle way. For one, he appeared to have no link to this new presence. Could this be the elder Trysais had mentioned? As he walked along his curiousity began to grow, along with the strange itching sensation in his back......

Waiting had brought a relevation or two, minor changes in objective and design. The focus on attacking the Citadel's structure had always seemed obvious, though the task of bombardment would certainly be the easiest. It had been hinted at that a force would be led into the Citadel directly during the ruckus to risk some sabotage, but their objectives were quickly piling up in excess. In due time the silly voice faced the problem of allocating proper manpower to proper use, which seemed to be harder then one might expect despite having what might've seemed an endless array of troops.

For his efforts he'd managed to form a fairly basic attack strategy for wiping out the noted defense sectors of the Citadel, whilst actively defending the artillery from the meager firepower of the Citadel. Their troops would also be slowed or destroyed by a number of other measures that would be in effect before the BG41's and their cousin ever gated it.

There was of course the Vanguard units, a threat the voice knew nothing of and thusly was unfit to prepare for. He had only his own designs, drawing off a primary exoskeleton designed for KB's last assault on the place. It had managed to stand up to one of the Citadel's harder punches, and so the full use of the mechanism would prove itself invaluable.

Sai's lab, Tegral's designs, and a sheer amount of time for preperation, had allowed him the ability to stockpile and hoard for the coming battle. Even now as the Citadel went about he continued to sort, his vast mind never stopping for rest. It was a luxury he could not afford if he were to dust the lot of them.

Tyrsais

PostPosted: Tue Aug 08, 2006 6:35 pm

::Tyrsais would continue his swift speed down the asphalt path laid out in front of them. His feet would move across the ground almost silently and the sword at his side began to hum lightly. Yuri would be able to make out a whisper in the background to quiet to make out. After a moment Tyr would place his hand on the hilt and it would become silent. Tyr would turn back to Yuri and speak::

Alright boy you are meeting alot of important people... don't dishonor your blood.

::Tyr would turn back now moving toward the tower and would move up below Zeno and Murigi yelling up at them from the streetway. Obviously he had a bit of an extrasensory perception to make them out so clearly::

I hope this isn't your replacement Zeno...

Yuri listened as he walked along behind Tyrsais, hearing a strange humming as he walked along. It abruptly ended however, as Tyrsais placed his hand on his sword and turned to speak to him. Yuri nodded silently in agreement, not wanting to dishonor the man who had saved him. Yet even as he walked the itching sensation in his back continued to grow. He willed the sensation away, standing off to the side behind Tyrsais so that he could see what was going on but not get in the way. He stood silently, not wanting to speak out of turn for fear of making a fool out of himself. He noted the ones in front of them, memorizing the one called Zeno so he would be able to adress the man in the future. His eyes scanned through the people who were present, not hiding himself, but not making himself very distinguishable either....

*As Tyrsais and Yuri arrived, that only gave Trilla more of a reason to hide. She didn't like the man at all, he had harassed her on more than one occassion, so she had a rather large dislike of him. The same would probably go for Yuri. He was both affiliated closely with Tyrsais, and he was a vampire now, though Trilla didn't yet know that. Seeming more desperate to hide, Trilla would take Micha's hand and started to move away from the main group, more towards where Omega was, though not getting so close. Omega was large and most people usually stayed out of its way, so having something large and overbearing nearby might help to deture anyone else from coming near*

Trilla: e.e;;

Micha: . . .

Thunk.

The case dropped next to the voice, though one might not've guessed it. It seemed fairly obvious what the long, ominous black case was. A weapon case, either for an array of guns or a blade just as before. True it did share several of the same clasps, though what lay inside wasn' any particularly amazing feat of magic or technology. Merely a canister rifle that would prove it's use in due time, once the one who was to take it arrived.

Until then, the voice simply toyed with the idea of making more of Proto's kin fall outside the barrier.

"Trained assassin huh? I believe it. I could probably die laughing if I wasn't metal." Snorting in contempt at the self proclaimed assassin, Zeno leapt down to the ground level, which is when Tyr made his own little commentary. Zeno passed him off with an annoyed shrug. "You know I'm irreplacable, Tyrsais. Tch........ and I hope THAT isn't what you're spending all of your time on these days." Zeno was of course referring to the first-time-seen Yuri. Zeno started making his way over to the main part of the tower. The convenience here is that they were all out in front of the tower's main entrance.

Slayer himself had retired to sitting on one of the marble walls that enclosed the stairs that lead up to the tower's entrance. Of course his senses knew Tyr and Yuri, along with everyone else, were there. So far he did nothing but relax.

Sho was just slightly nervous over Zeno picking a little insult fight with the three new arrivals. However, he could see that Trilla was frightened enough to choose Omega as a more pleasant alternative.

The door to the main tower opened and Mastema held it open for Nana and Eecheb to walk through. Once out himself, he resumed locking his elbow with Nana's. "Well, what a fine little collection we have here. The new arrivals are here as well." Zeno, Tyr, Mugiri, and Yuri were off in one place, while Sho, Omega, and Slayer were scattered about. Trilla and Micha were in the middle of the street at this point, moving closer to Omega and easy to spot. Mastema and his wife were greeted by Sho and Slayer, if anything. The only people absent were Proto and Thanatos.
