Zackala froze in his tracks and stared, wide-eyed at the robots. More specifically the guns they wielded. The seconds like that drew on at an agonizing pace before he regained what little composure he hd and gave a half bow. "I did not mean to intrude. I am but a weary traveller, searching for a sanctuary and, if possible, some work."

"Form not recognized. Assessing," was basically Zio's way of saying Zackala wasn't someone it recognized. "Information too vague. Please specify 'sanctuary' and 'work.'" There was so much work that was not needed in the citadel. Some of the droids around the barrier were quite a bit bigger than the two currently keeping their rifles on the ready, and Zack was lucky they hadn't turned toward him.

"Sanctuary. As in I need a place to rest and recover from my journey through the wilderness. I can do any kinds of chores that need doing.. cleaning, cooking, and anything else the master of this place can think of." Zack was sincere with his answers and pulled the blanket around his form tighter.

*Trilla and Micha were close enough now that they could hear the brawl outside, some distance away from them. The voices they heard were all familiar, but something was different about them. They had never heard them in combat before, when ever there was fighting they had been inside the tower to be kept safe, so something about this was different. Having their curiosity peaked, Trilla and Micha would detour from their trek back to the central tower to see what was going on. They'd likely be treated to a show of sorts, Slayer beating everyone up in basic spar. Zenogais would probably spot the pair if they were close enough to see everyone else. Perhaps they'd get to see the meaning of the word spar, if they were lucky*

As they came around the corner, Trilla and Micha would only find Omega trudging off the street, away from Slayer, after losing the brief match. For now it seemed Slayer had called a recess. The past few matches he'd gone with Sho and Omega had ended less than satisfactorily; then again, that was the purpose of these matches.
"Hey there!" The enthusiastic greeting to the children would come not too far away from them, from their uncle Sho. Sho, though exhausted and a little beaten, waved to his niece and nephew rather happily, glad to see someone who wasn't necessarily there to fight. At least Trilla would be able to ask Sho what was going on if anything.
The door to Nana's room would open casually before Mastema stepped in quietly. With a light sigh, he walked back into the room, lifting his head to Nana, whatever it was she'd chosen to do to occupy her time while he was gone.

*As far as Omega was concerned, the creature was not all that frightening nor had it been to them. Partial programming, partial lack of interest perhaps. In either case, Trilla and Micha would just blink as the large white and firey Omega made her way off. Upon hearing Sho, Trilla would be the first to look up to him, and reply. Sho would probably see that Trilla had Micha in hand, whom was still looking in the direction Omega had trudged. With the slight excitment of seeing a familiar face, Trilla started to fidget about, swinging her arm slightly while tipping back and forth on her feet. It would probably be another moment of two before she asked what was going on. For that moment, there was attention being paid and that was more important to the child then finding out what all the yelling and thuds were about*
Trilla: ^o^ || Hi~!!
Micha: . . . ?
*While Mastema had gone off to work on whatever it was he needed to do, Nana had opted to read a book that was still on her night stand. Sooner or later she would probably switch the book out for a new one. Hearing the door and Mastema, Nana would blink, mark her spot in the book and then shut it, lying on her lap before addressing her husband*

Throughout her life, Trilla would probably have the same charm of making her close ones feel happier when she was around them. Her nature just made her that way, and it was one of the reasons Than adored her so much. Sho smiled back to Trilla and briefly glanced towards Slayer to make sure he wasn't holding anything up. "Well you seem happy as usual; I'm glad. Don't worry about all the noise we're making. Not dangerous......... well not terribly dangerous anyway sweatdrop " Sho was simply lazing back against the side of the building for now. Zeno was sitting on the roof of the opposite building and had by now spotted the two children. He didn't feel it prudent for him to come into plain view just yet. Omega had taken to simply resting in a corner for now.
Mastema nodded lightly to Nana, giving his casual half grin half smile as he approached her side of the bed. "Hello, dear. I hope my absense has not made it too silent for you." Mastema turned and gently sat down on the bed-side near Nana. He didn't seem distraught at all, so his return probably wasn't in any kind of ill-mind. "The final phase of creating the Vanguard units should be just about complete now. I believe all that is left is to field test them." Nana had probably at least heard something about the vanguard in the week following the conference, though she hadn't seen the specifics presented on them. In a gensture of affection, Mastema placed his left hand on top of Nana's as it laid on the book in her lap.

Xol scoffed half-heartedly and sat down in resignation. Propping his feet up on the metal frame of the desk, he waited for the little speech to carry onward. This is a waste of his time... to say the very least. He wanted in the Citadel, not to change the events of time. Time had been very good to him thus far. "Let us hurry this along please..."

Demir23 Yuri came over to where Tyrsais gestured, allowing the strange device called Zio to scan him as needed. As he stood there he bowed to Tyrsais, apparently aware of the man's slight dissapointment through their connection. Forgive my impudence, this is just all so new to me. I will do my best to become more knowledgable so I will not dissapoint you in the future.... With that he fell silent, awaiting the device to complete it's appraisal so that he might begin to explore and learn about his new surroundings. He needed to discover the limits of his new body on his own and find a stable food source at that. Once that was accomplished, he would be able to grow, both physically and in experience.... ::With this last task being completed Tyrsais threw a small crescent moon to Yuri which seemed to be symbolic of something and also let off a small magical aura. Tyrsais had a similar symbol as a brooch on his cape. He would bow slightly to his new Fledge:: Well Yuri... lets go for a walk. It's time to see some more of your new home. ::Without so much as another word Tyrsais would begin to walk out of his room descending the stairs before him toward the main entrance to his lair. It would be safe to assume that he was leaving there into the Citadel now. Yuri had better move quickly or be left behind.::

*Trilla would blink at Sho's explination of not dangerous, relatively speaking. Neither of the two could probably see Slayer just yet, and vica versa, though by now he probably knew that they were there. Trilla settled down a little, though not too much as of yet. Micha was still literally in hand and wasn't likely to be going anywhere else, any time soon. While Trilla was appaerentlty examining Sho with her eyes, Micha would turn slightly, looking off in the direction of Zackala for a few seconds. A blink later, and the boy was facing forward again, glancing around the immediate area*
Trilla: >.> || Oooh~
Micha: . . .
*The affectionate gesture was taken well, with Nana closing her eyes lightly. There was a light smile on her face as well; Nana was happy to see Mastema*

Oh, you don't have to worry about that. Test them? Hnn, will they be testing inside of the barrier.... or outside some place?

Mugiri peeked over a ledge, seeing the interesting spectacle that were others in this desert town. He quirked an eyebrow, and observed as if spying, making mental notes, and ducking to hide himself should an eye wander towards him.

Yuri hesitated for a moment, eyeing the crescent symbol in his hand as he stood there. But a moment later he seemed to snap out of it, tucking the symbol into his shirt pocket and quickly coming up behind Tyrsais, where he proceeded to walk along behind him though a bit off to the side so he could see where they were going. He was subconsciously remembering everything he saw so that he could return here at will later, as he felt he might need to in the future. Yuri followed Tyrsais out of the small mansion which his master had created, moving out into the citadel with a feeling of awe and almost joy....

"At least now we're taking a break," Sho commented as well, explaining the current calm the team was having. Sho waved Trilla and Micha over, since there was no reason for them to have to keep away from the area. "So, what've you two been up to all this time anyway?"
"You're a long way from home pal, so you might wanna think twice about eaves dropping." The mechanical toned voice came from above Mugiri. When he looked up, he would see the odd looking android in red gear looking down on him, sitting on the edge of the building. Closing his fist and then extending his thumb and index finger, a small arc of electricity formed, and Zeno pointed his finger down at Mugiri. "You must be the rookie Lord Mastema took in some time ago. I'm not impressed by your spy tactics." Zeno promptly chuckled, making his artificial mouth light blink.
If Slayer had noticed any of this, he didn't show it.
Zackala would have to wait several moments in suspense before Zio spoke again. Of course, the droids didn't lower their weapons. "You have been permitted limited entry. You may only have access to the suburban areas of the outskirts of the citadel. There are abandoned facilities there where you can find food and clothing. No other access is permitted." The droids would still not turn away from the man, when a small hole in the shining dome opened. Zack should easily be able to tell where he wasn't supposed to go by the size and condition of the buildings.
Mastema's hand lightly clasped Nana's, allowed his thumb to stroke against her skin. "It will be easier to conduct efficient and private tests within the citadel. There are many unstable and already destroyed old parts of the citadel which can be used for weapon testing. Excessive live fire shouldn't be necessary." He would chuckle light heartedly, not seeing any reason for Nana to worry about these new, destructive units. "I've noticed that Slayer has started some of his practice, sparring matches with the others. I was on my way to observe and perhaps participate myself, and I wondered if you would like to come and watch for yourself. I would not want to leave you in this room all alone for the entire time. I believe Trilla and Micha have already found their way there."

Zackala briefly considered thanking the robot, but then reconsidered. Could something like that really understand its meaning? Maybe, who knows? Instead, he nodded his head and hastily walked through the entrance. Food and a bed... that's all he could think about.

*A great deal of what Zackala would find, was canned and and dried. It was the same kind of food Mugiri would have found. Unlike Mugiri though, hopefully Zackala had enough sense to find a hand crank can opener to get at anything canned that he wanted. Elsewhere far away from the Har, where the practice sparring was going on, Trilla had heeded Sho's request and would trot over to where he was with Micha reluctantly following along*
Trilla: ^.^ || Trilla and Micha were coloring! heart
Micha: . . .
*Well all right... more truthfully Trilla had been coloring and Micha had been looking at or reading a book, both of the children having been in the library for a time. For now Zenogais and Mugiri would go unnoticed by Trilla; Micha was probably already aware of them. Now then, back to the central tower... In the early days before the barrier, and durring the first barrier, Nana had heard many battles in the streets and on occassion had thought them tests run by Mastema, as he had been testing a few things at the time. So hearing the occassional test round go off wasn't something that bothered Nana all that much, though the children should probably be told, so that they wouldn't panic if they heard something like that out of the blue while wandering about.*
^__^
I see. Hmm, yes I think that would be nice. I haven't been outside of the tower much of late, and if the children are already there then I think it would be pleasant aswell.
>.>
So, Eecheb must be elsewhere then. If Trilla and Micha are there already then I think it the invitation should be extended to him aswell. As for the already unstable buildings, I'm glad they'll finally be dealt with, one way or another.
