Am I the only matron that thought of securing an heir?Well unfortunately Aleanduis thought to set up an NPC heir. And I did the same. I figured what's a House without Priestesses? That's like a House without a Matron... almost...

Moar edit: I am going to start a house, but the idea of it being in Ulorbbath is just INSANE. Gwah. I'd be more than happy to play other characters in Ulorbbath though. I don't know, I need a clearer idea of just what the hell is going on in the big picture. However, if you don't recall in true drow society, Houses are moved up and brought down regularly in the city. That's just how things work. So even if you do decide to make a House in Ulorbbath all you're doing is making the circulation continue.

Like say the First House decided to take down a House based on some sort of reason (be it Lolth's Will, clean up, etc) But for you being First House, I think you can potentially gather all of the Houses in the city as your army to take down Aleanduis. If everyone agrees. Which should be everyone because no one wants to mess with First House lol.

But the thing is that drow basically don't fear death...not really, anyways. But they do, do everything to avoid it. Because once they die that's the end of the weak strand. And drow keep their reputation strong so they won't appear weak. But tis' true. Losing favor with Lolth is basically hitting rock bottom. But if they're still alive after losing favor with Lolth, they can potentially build it back up. I haven't read the books in so long. But isn't that what happened to House Do'Urden? Malice lost favor and so the House fell. But her daughter lived on to try to raise her reputation back up.
