Shadow looked over to Vivan, somethign about her fetaures made him think that there may be something bothering her, "Something bothering you, Vivian?" He asked.

he turned towards the cigar chick "names jesse i was told this is a safe place for vampires and others" he picks up his ruck sac "mind showing me a room been on the road for ages" he clicks his back following it by a stretch

Vivian was so zoned out that she almost didnt hear Shdow's words. She turned her attention to him. "Oh.. it's nothing important. Just somthing that happened a long time ago...."

"Well then you were informed correctly, I'm Vickilyn, owner of Taline Manor, and coven leader" I said to him like I always did to all the newcomers I met, and ended it with a curtsy. "But as for showing you a room, he can" I said snapping for a servant to follow Jesse, "he can carry your bags and take you to an empty room, number 15, to the left" I said to him and the servant started up the stairs, "oh and I'll be in the dining room, if you need any help" I said before walking back across the main hall and through the dining room doors to take my spot, my cake and glass of blood was sitting there already

"Care to share this event with me or is it one of those difficult things to bring up?" Shadow asked as he finished drining and pushed his glass aside, waiting for a servant to remove it.

Vivian pushed her glass aside and folded her fingers on themselves. Her pretty face furrowed slightly at the memories. "Basically... I wan't brought into the vampric world nicely.. or willing at least. I had a family. Once. A vampire came... and killed all of my family. My mother died at my birth, so I never felt the love of my mother. I was beaten daily, but it was my family. He killed them, then bit me and left me to die." She looked up at Shadow, her ice blue eyes cold. "Ever since that day I have sworn to myself that I would slay him. I don't expect you to understand, since you wer never human."

I caught Vivian's story as I had sat down to eat my cake, 'horrible way to be turned' I thought to myself as I took a sip from my glass. I swallowed the liquid, but it had a horrible taste, 'what the hell is this?' I thought then smelled it, 'animal blood, they must have mixed mine up with Shadow's.' I snapped my fingers and a servant rushed to my side, "can you bring me the good stuff?" I asked, "this came from Shadow's stash" I said as he rushed off and I moved the glass away from me by focusing one it. Then I took two giant bites of my cake to get the taste out of my mouth.

"Just because I was never human dose not mean I do not understand. I understand what it is like to loose something that means alot to you. I lost my first wife to demons and took my revenge, I would expect that your situation is similar... in a sense. The older generatios such as myself are not to disimilar from humans, I had a mother and a father at one point..." Shadow said, feeling sympathy for Vivian but not letting it show. he had heard similar tales before, most involved being forced into vamparism. It was part of the reason that Shadow did not like the younger generations.

Vivian nodded at Shadows words. "Well once you live this way for 432 years, you tend to get used to it." She smile a little sadly but shook her head. She nearly laughed at Vickilyn's reaction to the animal blood. "Oh, come now. It isn't that bad, now is it?"[

"Yes, we do get use to it." Shadow said as he trailed off into through for a moment. He caught a glimps of his first wifes face at her final moments before he snapped back to reality. Shadow heard what Vivian had said about the animal blood, "You kidding? This stuff is dreadful but hey, all good things taste like crap." Shadow said, getting in his own thoughts on the stuff.

I laughed a little, "oh, it is, I've only had this stuff a few times and it's nothing like that of a human" I said as I took another big bite of the cake. Just then the servant came back and set the glass in front of me, he started to apologize but I stopped him, "no need, just don't mix it up again" and with that he went back to the kitchen. I took a long drink, "that's more like it" I said setting it back down. I saw Jesse enter, "yeah just ask a one of the butlers they'll bring you something"

he gets one of the butlers attentions and demands a whisky "i do not want to mix up my blood now" having a butler giving him a glass of whisky "good stuff this is" he swiggs is down
