He began to wonder if they were still asleep until he heard a small "Eep!" elicited by what he was guessing was the fairy. Though her overly excited personality bothered him at times during the ride, it was an interesting experience. He had even begun to overhear her every now and then referring to him as Nom. He found the nickname odd but felt no need to suppress it.

Shortly after the fairy's shriek, the one brought to his ship by Tserof greeted him at the door. It would seem he was correct in assuming the state of the occupants inside judging from her appearance.

"We have landed at the mainland and will be staying at port for a little while. That is all." he explained before turning to head up on deck.

For those that merely wanted passage, he was sure they'd be happy to hear it.

Korruia
Korruia nodded to the message and then felt her hair, feeling it not looking well. Her eyes widened since the captain had just seen her as such, but soon returned to normal as it didn't seem like he took specific notice as he left. Korruia closed the door and went to the only two awake.
"We've reached port."
Them reaching port mattered little to her as she was still stuck here for reasons she didn't know. She glanced at the gelade on her hand for a moment and guessed it had something to do with that. She grabbed her regular clothing and changed back into then began to smooth and style her hair with her brush. Even though she couldn't leave she could still probably have an escort arranged to walk around.

Faylina
Hearing Kathrine speak, she forgot about her morning scare and began speaking to her happily.
"Morning Kathy! Fay slept great!"
The little fairy was practically shouting. When Korruia relayed the message Faylina's face and glow brightened.
"YAY! We traveled the endless blue! If Fay ever returns Fay'll tell those others there is a end to the endless! Come on Kathy get up! UP, up, up Up!" Faylina began flying in circles happily in anticipation.

The rest of the trip was rather uneventful except for Suika's overabundant cheeriness as she talked about whatever caught her fancy to Ariya. The sand came to a halt it would seem as they traversed a more wooded area for a bit before reaching their destination.

Reaching the base, one could see it was a decent size building. In truth, the building went underground for the majority of the building instead of skywards to avoid notice. Most of the rooms at the top were meeting rooms and the like.

As the Volsa members went to the meeting, Mia waved them off before turning to Ariya. She was about to speak when all of the Dark Claws assigned to their respective Volsa came out from their hiding spots. Some stretched while others let out a groan of freedom knowing they had some time to relax. The only perk they could say with having to accompany Volsa members was they didn't have to do anything when their was a meeting unlike unassigned Dark Claws.

"Ahhh~ About time we made it, time for a shower to rid myself of all this sand." a feminine voice spoke from behind them as she pulled the black cowl from her shoulders and began to fan herself.

"Heh, what's the matter Barras? Can't handle a little sand?" came another feminine reply causing her to scowl.

"Hardly the case, you barbarian. Some people prefer places with more life."

"What was that plant B*$%@!"

Watching the two begin to throw even worse remarks back and forth, Mia let out a sigh before returning to speaking to Ariya.

"Don't worry about them. They're always like this. On the same three man squad even. Just follow me." the little caster replied before leading Ariya away and down an elevator to reach her master's personal room. When the door opened, Ariya would see a vast amount of bookcases aligned throughout the room with books of various shapes and sizes, numerous equipment in the middle of the room used for tests more than likely, an area on the leftside of the room which looked almost like a lab, and an ironclad door in the back.

Unoku was puzzled for a moment to go through what he did before but he didn't let it bother him.
'She's just a tad confused I guess.'
He raised his hand again and met hers. He held her hand for a moment then relaxed it letting her pull away at any time. From the contact she would feel a calming chill that seemed to grow colder the longer the contact remained.
"In a way we are similiar. Ghosts are often vengeful souls who can't pass on. Me... I'm just here. I'm either a soul who forgot his past or I never had one. I don't think it matters much though, so long as I have my will."
He smirked from his comment. Free will was something few spirits had. Often they are bound to statues or areas most not by their own choosing. He thought of something.
'hmm, I am able to bind my self to something when I think I want to stay there... but that should also hold true to some'one'... Then I... we would still be traveling around.'
His eyes had moved up while he was thinking and then they went back to her, taking in every detail of her appearance once more.
"..."

She let go of his hand slowly, "Must be great to not know if you had past, I wish I could forget mine." She sighed, "You've probably never been hurt before, your lucky." Ruth then suddenly grabbed her stomach, "Actually I'm getting kind of hungry, do you mind if I eat in front of you? I'll just break open some shell fish, unless you have a better idea in mind for food?"

"That's one way to look at it I guess."
When she grabbed her stomach and complained of hunger and eating in front of him he crossed his arms playfully.
"Do I mind? I never become hungry and your just going to eat infront of me?"
He paused for a moment to raise the tension, then let it all fall as he smiled happily.
"Nah, not at all. Go right ahead."

She blushed a little, afraid she had insulted him, then nodded, smiling widely right back. Ruth then went over to look under rocks and dig with her hands for shelled creatures. "OW! It bit me!" She screamed, her hands now bloody from a crab.

Unoku went over to her finding the culprit scurrying away, feeling a grat dislike toward it for harming her, even thought it was just trying to survive. Watch its path for a moment, he then dashed to it and kicked it up into the air. Out of its element it flailed around, its stomach turned toward him as it rotated in the air. He punched toward it, and the strike seemed to multiply, hitting its soft spot many times before sending it back over to her colliding into the sand on its back. The crabs moved its limbs for a moment then stopped, drifted unconcious. Unoku walked back toward her and kneeled, lifted her hand so he could get a good look at the wound.
"It doesn't look too bad. You okay?"

Ruth seemed a little stunned at first, "I'm okay, I've eaten a lot of shell fish in my time so I'm kind of use to it." She nodded, amazed by what he did to knock the creature out, "Thanks for making it easier for me to get him, ahhhh....." She let her bloody hands soak in the salt water and they started to shimmer, glittering up until they healed completely, "As long as I'm near the water, I'm always able to heal rather quickly." She smiled, "If not by the water, then they just heal normal." Ruth went over to the crab and beat it against a huge rock, cutting it in half, "It was nice meeting you, but I have to go somewhere soon, unless you want to just come along....." Ruth assumed he didn't have anywhere else to be since he was just a wondering spirit, 'I need to see an old friend, she is having a lousy time finding a crew for her ship, she use to have a crew long ago, but they seem to be doing their own thing she said, I have become her first mate since they are all gone, she says she needs a crew to get at an old enemy that is terrorizing the towns on this very island we are on." She looked him over for a minute,"Do you think it is possible that you would like to help us out with this? I mean I don't want to be wasting your time....You just look like you could float up in the air, would be good to go in the crow's nest, we need someone that can see them coming from a long ways, you could probably even float above the water when I swim..." Ruth didn't know what else to say, she just sounded nervous asking him.

He was enjoying the praise when he saw her go to put her wounded hands into the salt water.
"!?"
He rushed forward to stop her as that would normally worsen the pain, but not knowing her mermaid features he of course was wrong. He stood there stunned himself as she healed.
"huh."
He blinked when she shattered the crab against a rock like a seal finding it somewhat amusing yet seemingly out of character. The allure of her request was too much to bear and the nervousness added to it.
"Sure, sounds fun. Better than the floating aimlessly plans I had... just one condition."
He smirked and walked up to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. His touch felt cold and he closed his eyes, whispering something. His form soon become ethereal and shiny as he finished speaking. A silver lion like seal faded into view on her shoulder as he faded away. He let a moment pass before speaking to her in her thoughts.
'You have a very cheery soul, I'll enjoy being your guardian.'
He gave a relieved sigh, her mood calming him.
'I'm now bound to you. I can merge with you and empower you or protect you from outside. As long as you live, i live. If you die, we both go to the beyond... except I can return. I'll try my best to help you avoid that. ANYWAY! NICE TO MEET YOU PARTNER!'
There was a mental image of him smiling in her thoughts.
'Lead the way.'

Ruth smiled back, finished eating the rest of the crab meat and after she tossed the shell pieces back into the water, she dove into the water, diving deep into the sea, swimming for hours further down until she reached a monstrous submarine, at which she banged onto the one of the front windows, causing a strange looking pale scared woman to grin and wave at her, quickly disappearing from the window, and Ruth seeing the Submarine engine turn on, As it sped away from her, she quickly followed after it, able to keep up with the speed no problem.

"Now that me mermaid is back we can head to that Elder Oasis Island I've had my sights on for awhile." The captain of the submarine nodded to herself, steering the craft so it wouldn't hit the wooden dock. As she watched out the window of Ruth putting down her anchor, her body guard came up to her, "Yer not making me watch the 'hip 'gain, I'm goin' with ye."
"Fine sir...." She sighed.
"Lassie! I"M A GOIN' TOO!" She heard her cat hiss, "I haven' been dry in months! And I'm sick you trying to lure me her to stay with that catnip of yours!" The Captain stamped her foot, "Then whom is gonna watchin' me ship while all of we's are gone hmm?"
Ruth tapped on the window and pointed to herself. Obviously while they were yelling at each other, the anchor was tied down by the mermaid.
The captain half smiled, "Then tis settled, Kitty you carry our food, but this time, PLEASE, don't eat it all for ye self on the way! Guard, as usually, carry the weapons. I'll be carrying the camping supplies." They walked up the steps together, the first one reaching the entrance/exit prying off the lid, and all of them jumping into the dock before sealing the craft back up.

With the ship now at port, Ikriss floated down to the deck and focused his senses for any of his relics. Not feeling any besides the one he has on the ship, he declines going ashore and merely leans against the mast.

"That's good to hear." she replied with a smile.

Seeing the excitement explode on Faylina's face, Kathrine's smile widened happy to see her in such joy. Letting out a small giggle, Kathrine made the motions to get out of bed.

"I'm going. I'm going."

Once dressed and ready to leave, Kathrine gave a bow to the other ladies of the room before traversing on deck. The cool ocean air greeted her as she stepped foot outside. She was about to leave the ship when she saw Nomaloh staring out to sea and went over to him.

"Captain of the Karras, I thank you for the hospitality of your ship."

Walking into the chosen meeting room, Zul'Theras gave a smirk seeing that most of the party had been assembled with the inclusion of his group. It would seem they were only waiting for the lumbering oaf and the she-witch now.

Suika ran over to Kohane, who gave a nod to their entrance, giving her a hug before running to her seat. Rei and Zwei were already in their seats staring in the direction of the new arrivals but opted to keep the silence. However, Tova wasn't one for silence.

"So, what's the deal with this sudden meeting and where the hell is Dalveska? We were tracking someone I wanted to sink my teeth into."

"You found his trail once, you can find it again can you not?" came the nuetral tone of Rei.

"You don't know how damn long that took you emotionless doll!"

"My personality has nothing to do with this arguement. If you wish to find your target again then try harder then before."

He would have loved to retaliate but with the look he was being given by everyone, he reluctantly conceded.

"Tch!" was his only reply as he stood next to his seat with his arms crossed.

Meanwhile, Suika, very visually, told Kohane of her travels while the older woman smiled and nodded at various parts of the story.

In the shadows of an alley, a man watched the pirates of the Karras going about the town selling their stolen goods while the merchants turned a blind eye to it eager to take such valuables and sell them for a much higher price then what the pirates thought they were worth. The amount the pirates wanted was dismal to the true value of such goods. The pirates were happy to line their pockets with gold while the greedy merchants planned how to sell their new precious belongings. Such displays made him sick.

Planting members of his group among the pirates in their attire, he had them attack some merchants killing them while terrorizing innocents in a mock pillage. Guards began swarming in but the ones that had donw the damage mingled back among the pirates to cause blame to all as the guards threw accusations which the pirates began denying. Then to throw insult to injury, one of his group threw a dagger at a guard injuring his arm causing the guards to attack to contain the threat.

Meanwhile, the other section of his coalition gathered at the pier to give The Karras a "proper welcome". All of his group was prepared to die, if they were killed then it would look like The Karras's crew killed more citizens.

Without looking away from his view, he answered them.

"You wished for passage and I allowed it. I hardly deserve a thanks. However, you may not want to leave the ship just yet."

Turning to them, he walked past them to the edge of his deck looking out to the pier. It didn't take much to feel their hatred and scorn. He was well accustomed to it to where he could feel such emotions in the air. Even in the past...

"What do you wish to prove with your pitiful existence. I will feel no remorse for your deaths, but I will be more than willing to offer you passage into hell."

Pulling his hood down, all four of his red eyes bore down at them as bone spikes began protruding from his upper body.
