Mike looked up after his daydream, realizing everyone had gone. "So much for group activities." He mumbled, silently cursing Fang's unreliability, he knew Nitro was ready. Truthfully, he worried about his Charizard. Flying meant alot to him, and he was starting to get really good at it. The boy hoped the loss wouldn't lower his spirits. "Ah, what am I talking about," The boy said, smiling. "if anything this will make him want to train and fly more." Mike shook off the thought, Nitro was going to be fine, he knew it.

He continued his little stroll on the streets of Johto as he waited for Kasiya and Keegan.

Brock heard a noise in the gym after something that sounded like the door closing. Looking past the shelter of the rocks he was near he saw the young trainer and her Pikachu from the previous day once again in the gym. What was her name again... Train? That sound about right.

"Why hi there!" Brock exclaimed as he walked over to the clearer center of the gym.

After spending a little over an hour teaching his Ludicolo the new Styles, Kilik fell onto his back into the sand. He knew he shouldn't be the tired one - Ludicolo did all the work. Flareon, too. It just seemed like the two of them were perfectly fine. Flareon hopped onto his trainer's stomach and curled up into a ball. The fox was very warm against his chest and let out a soft, contended growl. Kilik placed a hand on his companion and whistled a low whistle. "Let's say a break?" he laughed, "then back to training Ludicolo?"

The Pokemon continued bobbing along, listening to the tune in his head. A smile was spread on his beak and he hummed to himself, closing his eyes in a happy sort of fashion.

"What the heck!" the twins yelled in unison. "Farfetch'd, use Slash on that overgrown venus fly trap!" Ben commanded. The bird, although still a little shaken, grabbed its leek out of its mouth using its wing, and shot forward like a missile, swinging the weapon violently at Trina. Despite its efforts, however, Trina was currently much faster and was able to dodge all of the slashes aimed its way...

Except the last one. The leek was drawn hard and fast against the Victreebel's front side, resulting not in a scream, but rather, a type of pained whine. The damage that was done was more cosmetic than actually painful, but the plant didn't want everyone else to know that. TO retaliate, she lunged forward at Farfetch'd before it could get away, and clamped her mouth around the bird's wing that held the leek.
Despite the fact that he flailed his arm around violently and pecked at his attacker, Trina wouldn't let go...

Until she took the leek away, and ate it. She cackled.
"Bahaha!" Raimundo laughed, genuinely amused. "Great job, Trina! Now it can't cut anymore!" The plant seemed to grin-- or, at least, an expression came onto her face that resembled happiness.

"Okay, Serena! Now that Farfetch'd is debilitated, use another Metronome! See if you can knock it out before it gets another chance to attack!" Serena trilled, and dashed toward the bird, her index and middle fingers waggling in unison. Sparks started to emanate from her body as she jumped and crashed into the bird, using Volt Tackle. Her attack was not only so powerful that it knocked out Farfectch'd, but it dealt a massive amount of damage to Serena as well. She was a bit dizzy after attacking, and received a temporary case of double vision as she tried to walk back to Trina.

"That plan sounds pretty good," she said through the Pokenav. She herself hadn't really sopken to anyone in a while. With all her random mood swings and the like she was glad that she hadn't. I supose I could give them a call, seeing as I'm normal now. No wait, normal is probably the farthest thing I'm from now. She chuckled a bit, clenching and unclenching her fists. "Say, where are you Dante? Maybe I could go visit you if you aren't in like Kanto or something." Knowing that if it was, I'd end up horribly lost.

Haku trilled slightly jumping down from Mitsu hands, and landed on the hard ground. With a few tears in his eyes, he demanded to be picked up once more. Mitsu sighed, picking up the blue seahorse Pokemon. Realizing that she hadn't moved from the spot where her Pokenav had rung she decided to head east. A nice training spot for Haku and Zyphyr was what she needed the most at the moment. Once he evolves, I'll finally have a Pokemon that can fly me places just like Mike and Kasiya.

Taking the Pokeball from the machine Touya walked outside of the Mossdeep Pokemon Center that he had grown accoustomed to seeing and visiting. "She never told me what was in it," he mumbled fingering the shrunken Poekball between his fingers. With a flick of his wrist he sent the ball sailing through the air. The red and white sphere grew to it's normal size before bursting out with a shower of red light. In a matter or moments the light solidified into the scaled covered Gyrados. "Better than what I was expecting," Touya said with a hint of approval as Nightmare loosed his signature roar that shook the earth underneath Touya's feet.

Having not spotted Mitsu, but a new trainer in her place he looked down, a glare upon his eyes. "No need to worry, I'm Touya, Mitsu's brother," he said, "I'm taking care of you for a while." A gaze full of understanding glowed in Nightmare's eyes before he wrapped around his new trainer in a sort of hug. He let out a happy roar, approving of his new companion. "Ugh! Mitsu!" Touya screamed as the mighty Gyrados had turned out to be nothing but a big soft, cuddly Pokemon.

Upon hearing the last part of Mitsu's comment he chuckled. "I happen to be at the Pokemon Center at the base of Rock Tunnel in Kanto. Though I may be making an early check out. Sorry to disappoint you. But really Mitsu, Zapdos is a Kanto Legendary Pokemon. I would have been taken to the nearest hospital." He laughed a little at his sister somewhat absent mindedness. "Maybe I will head to another regeon when I try out a contest? Perhaps we could meet up then. Maybe even have a battle. I will have you know I am a lot stronger then I was before." He grinned at that. He most certainly was a lot stronger then the last time he had battled Mitsu.

"Dewgong!" Sam yelled, "Take Down attack, now! Don't let that Clefairy get another chance to attack!" Happy to finally have the opportunity to get rid of the menace, the sea lion lept forward, more or less pouncing on the smaller Pokemon; when he had knocked her to the ground, Dewgong slammed his head into her, sending her rolling along like a stone. At this point, it was obvious that Serena had been bested.

"Guh... you stupid thing!" Raimundo yelled, "I won't let you get away with that! Trina, use a rapid-fire Razor Leaf!" Hopping forward and swinging her vine around violently, the plant shot out at least two dozen small, sharp leaves at her opposition with every hop she took. Due to the massive amount of leaves being blasted at Dewgong, it was clearly unable to protect itself from all of them. Eventually, only one Pokemon was left standing.

And that Pokemon was the maniacal plant. She was recalled into her Pokeball after the ended,
while Nina walked forward, recalling her fainted Pokemon as well. Walking past the twins to her third and final challenge, she was met by a brown-haired girl that was a little older than her. She said her name was Andrea.

"It looks like you're breaking the pattern, Andrea," Nina commented. "Everyone else teamed up with someone to fight me; why aren't you?"
The girl laughed. "I never said I was going to battle alone. Rik, come over here! We've got ourself a potential winner!"

The man who Nina had assumed gave out the nugget as a prize walked to meet up with Andrea. He was dressed in black, with a black hat, shirt, pants, and shoes. There was a red R on his shirt. Nina recognized who he was instantly-- he was the Rocket that had escaped from the Radio Tower. She didn't acknowledge that she even knew he belonged to the organization, however.

A Parasect and a Quagsire appeared from a pair of Pokeballs. Nina unclipped a ball from her belt and Whitney did the same, walking to her sister's side.

Anna floated over the field, joined by Storm a moment later. The Misdreavus and Castform looked knowingly at eachother, and prepared to fight.

"I . . . knew that. Even if I have no clue to where you are," Mitsu said giving a small nervous laugh at the end. "And a battle sounds great," Mitsu said with a sort of bitter-sweet smile. Everyone had grown so much stronger, and no doubt that Dante was among them, while she remained the same. Hardly any progress was made in training and no doubt she would be easily wiped out by most of her friends now. She clecnhed her fists together. I have to become stronger she thought closing her eyes tightly together. "So we'll probably meet up at the Beach Party then right? And promise that we'l have that battle," she concluded, wrapping up the plans that they had made.

Dante just laughed at Mitsu's comment. " Well I look forward to it. Lets both get stronger and have a spectacular battle when we see each other next. Until then have a wonderful time, and try to stay out of trouble." He said as a way of goodbye. Shutting the phone after hearing Mitsu's own goodbye he looked out of the window and watched his two pokemon play outside. Sighing he rested his chin on his arm and smiled as the two goofed off with each other. After a moment he brought his pokenavi back to his veiw, 'Hmmm who should I call next?"

Akane was so intent on her note taking and pouring through the many books that littered the large table that she only noticed that Professor Oak was standing next to her when he spoke. "I see your working hard" a fatherly smile on his lips. "You've proven to me that you're taking this seriously, seriously enough that I think I can give you this." The Professor placed a shiny new Pokedex on the table in front of Akane. The young trainer looked at it in disbelief. "Its a Pokedex of your very own. It's loaded with some basic data on almost all the currently known Pokemon but the device will scan the Pokemon you encounter and gather information on them. It scans those you capture more thoroughly, so I advise all trainers to catch as many kinds of Pokemon as they can." Sammy glanced down at Akane's notes. "Helping trainers on their journey does help my research and I have a feeling that you will be traveling to many far off places."

Professor Oak seemed to be done with his speech/lecture and said no more as he walked from the room, stopping only long enough to pick up a book from a shelf on his way out. Akane looked down at her Pokedex, then over to the chair Twinkers was sitting on earlier that morning. "Where has she gotten to?" she pondered.

"Okay, Anna!" Nina said, wanting to take out her contenders swift and fast, "Now that you've got a powerful Ghost-type attack, let's use it! Hit that Parasect with a Shadow Ball!" The ghost grinned. "Of course." Twirling around a few times, Anna was able to create a good sized dark purple-black orb of energy; it hovered near her for a moment before she spun around again, launching it at her opponent.

The massive mushroom on the Parasect's back disabled it from having an excellent movement, and despite scuttling his little claw-feet along the ground in an attempt to escape, the attack connected, knocking the pathetic Pokemon on its back. After rocking back and forth several times, the Pokemon got to its feet, raising a claw in victory.

Anna raised an eyebrow, and turned to look to Storm, who mirrored her expression. Due to the fact that the sunglight was still beaming down brightly because of what Trina had done in the last battle, Storm transformed into a floating sun with perfectly round, red bubbles going along her head.

"Okay, Storm!" Whitney yelled, "it's time to, like, give that Parasect a totally hard time! Weather Ball attack, like now!" The Pokemon lowered her head for a moment, and then quickly flung it up into the air, shooting a grayish-colored ball into the sky. A few moments later, the ball rocketed down toward the arena, now a bright red-orange color, and it smashed into the Bug- and Grass-type Pokemon.

Parasect flailed around violently, screaming like a baby.

"Quagsire!" Rik yelled, "Don't let those Pokemon get the chance to strike you as badly as they did Parasect! Surf attack, now!" The less-than-intelligent Pokemon nodded his head, and summoned up a cascading wave of pure blue water that, to Storm, seemed to be gigantic. The attack rushed forward at a ridiculous speed, crashing into both Pokemon with a force that rivaled the power of an Earthquake, sending them both flying backwards and crashing into the ground.

"Wh.. how the heck?!" Storm cried, slowly recovering from the attack and hovering in the air a little. The Surf attack was much stronger than either she or Anna had anticipated; both Pokemon had taken a beating, but moreso Storm due to her current Fire-type status. Anna was able to recover as well, floating near her comrade. Both anxiously awaited the Parasect's attack; he had since calmed down from being previously attacked, but was in quite a large amount of pain as well.

He may have been a crybaby, but Parasect wasn't stupid. He seized the moment of bright sunlight, and blasted a Solarbeam attack at Anna with the force of a cannon.

Anna knew she wouldn't be able to last through this attack. Not after being hurt so badly before.

"Hey boy," a voice called out from behind, causing Mike to awaken from his little day dream. A tall girl with slender legs and shaggy pigtails approached the boy, a hopeful smile on her face. "How about a little Pokemon fight?" Mike raised an eyebrow at her, looking the would-be opponent up and down. She seemed nice, why not?

"Alrighty," He chirped, adding in a quick nod. "What are the terms? Oh, and your name?" As he usually did, Mike scrolled through the list of his current Pokemon, already going over strategies in his mind.

"Sherri's the name, how about a simple two on two double battle?" She grinned widely. Her smile was infectious. The girl quickly snatched a Pokeball and Great Ball, she looked quite confident.

"That sounds great." Mike replied, taking out two choices of his own. "Portabello, Beacon, come on out!" The boy sent out his trustworthy Breloom and his peculiar Ampharos, hoping the conflicting personalities would catch his opponent off guard. Let's hope this wasn't a mistake.

Oh. Portabello's eyes widened momentarily at the recognition of his battle partner. This shall be most interesting. A slightly nervous chuckle followed afterwards.

"Plant head!" The Electric Pokemon exclaimed with the usual air headed bliss, throwing his 'hands' into the air.

Most interesting...

"Let's get this started!" Sherri cried out, tossing her two in the air. A Flygon and a Lanturn were released, the former causing Mike to grimace slightly. Oh, this might have been a little bit of a mistake...

Nina noticed this fact as well. "Anna, quick!" she yelled, "Pain Split! Use Quagsire as your target!" More than happy to abide by her trainer's command, she quickly glanced over to the blue Pokemon, shooting a light purple beam at him and making contact. In doing so, she had transferred a minute amount of her remaining strength into him; a moment or two later, Quagsire's body forced the beam to be shot back at Anna, sending much of the peculiar Pokemon's energy to the ghost, healing her immensely. That strategy couldn't have been performed at a more ideal time, as it was but a second later that she was struck by the attack, being knocked to the ground yet again.

"Guhhh," she groaned, recovering, "Storm... we need to get rid of them, right now."
The Castform nodded. "Right. I'll take out that bug over there-- you focus on the dumb thing, okay?" Anna nodded.

"Okay, Storm!" Whitney called from over near Nina, "I want you to, like, use another Weather Ball! Get rid of your opponent before he can, like, do anything else to hurt you!" The Castform did as she was told. She launched another gray ball into the sky, only to have it come blasting downward and landing on top of Parasect's mushroom.

One Fire-type Weather Ball was all that Parasect could stand to endure. Another one was too much; despite his continued efforts to get the burning mass off of his body, there was nothing he could do, and succumbed to Storm's power.
