"If I'm as wild as the wind, how can their be any barrier? I am just as unpredictable and forceful... it would seem we'd get along all the better."

actually, I think the wind considers those like you to be a mockery. It is opposites that attract, after all.
Congrats, Shin. Your relentless effort has taught you the fundamental attack of a wind mage, the air blast. Using the flowing movements of wind that meditation can master, combined with the destructive force of wind we demonstrated earlier, you can channel wind into an invisible cutting attack that flows toward its opponent, making it difficult to avoid. Practice the technique often.

patience and diligence. The wind moves as it wills. You will need to become a stronger mage for that kind of power.

"Well then, I shall have to learn that strength at a later date. For now, I must bid you fairwell."
With that he lept into the air catching a passing current.

Appearing in the smae grove as his last training session with the tree spliting, Shin attempts to focus himself on the uncontrolability of the wind. He seeks to bind himself to its unpredictability and flow with its coursing drive. He opens his right hand, gathering air as it swirls about him. After several moments, he draws a series of five vertical lines in the air before several massive trees.

Cursing his failures he focuses yet again before thrusting his hands forwards towards yet another grove of trees.

*Kage drops in, eyeing Shin's training. Once again, he's the only one who tries so hard. Once again, he challenges me. Does the cycle never end? He thought.*

"I will master this!"
With all his will and might he strains his forearms towards the trees, willing the wind to strike.

*after Shin wears himself out, Kage pulls out the earth gem and points it at the ground. In seconds, trees begin to emerge from the ground, growing at an accelerated rate and replacing the trees that were massacred by the training.*
