((I wanna do this too (what Night did, lolz)!))

It was a lovely summer day. Or technically speaking, as all summers go, suffocation and scorching heat all wrapped in a lovely package. Actually, that would've been misleading... Odoriko Yuumei thought dryly. It certainly would have been no exaggeration to conclude that the great river of Oto itself, that fed the village's rice crop...had dropped a few significant inches with each passing day. Not to mention the ancient oak and willows of the area seemed to have gained a rusty shade of yellow...and took on textures (bark-wise) characteristic of old crones and men.

With a slight groan, the Sannin's fingers slowly inched for her canteen. When did Oto become Suna, climate-wise anyways...? She popped open the canteen, brushing a long strand of dark brown hair, damp with sweat, away from her face. Slowly, she lifted the wooden bottle to her lips...tilted it gently...

...

Nothing came out. With a look of surprise on her face, Yuumei tried again. And again. And again. Still nothing. But how curious...she had certainly made sure to fill her canteen earlier in the morning. When the weather was still bearable. And that was when the brown-haired Sannin saw it, when a single beam of sunlight finally reached her (through the pathetic shade offered by the withering willow she sat under)...

A crack, clear as day was carved on the canteen.

...

A hysterical sob filled the clearing.

((Oh...and the canteen cracked because of the weather.))

-sigh- Here goes nothing.

Gitashi strapped his silver headband around his hip,but more like toward the beltloops. Grabbing his flail, shuriken, and his kunai, he strapped both his arm gauntlets on tight enough for it to feel like all his blood vessels would burst any minute now and splatter all over the hard-wood floor his maid just polsihed.
"Let's get this over with Paul." He said as he leaped from his 3 story machine, out the window and ontop a tree branch. Branch to branch he fllipped and jumped his way across the village, quickly trying to make it to his match before he was disqualified.

Moments later he landed right in front of his opponent Paul, about his height 4'9, green eyes and glare that could turn anything or anyone to stone.

"You ready Paul?"

Pretty good. Kinda gruesome... lol. All in all, I'll give you a pass...

This is assuming things go my way with my character in Iwagakure...

Standing awkwardly underneath the awning of a store, Shai scowled at the downpour of rain. It had started earlier that day as a little drizzle, only to change into a down pour out of no where. And she had been ever so bright and left her umbrella at home that day. She sighed, missing the silly, flimsy silk thing, with its bamboo frame and handle, white roses printed on the purple material, for the first time in her life. Kei was in so much trouble for this. "'Let's meet up for lunch,'" the redhead mocked under her breath, "'I'll be there at noon.' It's one thirty now! Ugh, that's it..." Looking out at the dreary weather, she resigned herself to getting her hair wet and started to slip out into the rain. However, she paused when she noticed a familiar figure running towards her. "Well, it's about time!" she called to the other girl, a pleasant scowl on her face. "I was about to leave, you know!"

(( This is what my character will act like if everything goes as planned village wise ))

Namiko dodged back and forth avoiding the senbon needle from her older sister who appearantly didn't like the comment she made about her and her boyfriend. Ofcoarse it wasn't her fault she just happened to make a comment while walking by and now it's all her fault.

She jerked out of her thoughts afterwhat she thought was a cat nearly hit her head. Maybe mad was a understatement her sister was fuming. Better find some shelter and wait for 'the storm' to blow over.

This was going to be a very long day......

Kuroishi giggled as he trotted into his brothers room his white hair covering his face and hiding his purple eyes that had a evil glint in them. "Oniisan? Oniisan?" He shouted to see if his brother was there. Most of his brothers stuff was smothered in old clothes and books but the table of ninja gear was clear of all nasty smelling shirts and pants. Kuroishi crept across the room to his brothers ninja gear and grabbed a few shuriken then hopped out the open window. Hee hee! He'll never know! Kuroishi yelped when he felt a hand grab the back of his shirt collar. "Give me back my shuriken idiot." Kuroishi struggled trying to make his brother let go but he couldn't. In the end he handed over the shuriken with a sad little sigh. "Im sorry... Oniisan..." Kuroishi said slowly looking very downcast. "Geez can you wait one more year?! Your gonna be going into ninja academy so stop stealing my stuff." Kuroishi's brother responded rolling his eyes. "Yes Oniisan!" Kuroishi responded happily forgetting about the shuriken incident and remembering he was going into ninja academy. Well in a year. It was still enough to make him the happiest kid on the planet. God In a few years he's gonna be a ninja... But does he have to steal my shuriken when he's SIX!?

Ziro Kashaku stood inside his house looking out the open door in to the pouring rain that limited visibility to no more than 4 feet. Ziro's body, standing, 5'3", quivered slightly with anticipation. His father was supposed to be returning from a mission in Suna and Ziro was eager to see his father again. He remembered that roughly carved face with the permanent five o'clock shadow that was always smiling at him. Those strong hands that always guided him during training, teaching him the way of the shinobi.

A figure, the shadow of a man could suddenly be seen walking down the street directly at him and Ziro knew what the shadow was. Rushing out in to the freezing rain Ziro ran to within feet of his father before stopping horrified by what he saw. The man that had always cared for him ever since mother died now stood before him, covered with gashes and puncture wounds that poured blood on to the stone road below them before it was washed away by the rain. "D- dad..." Something in Ziro's mind suddenly snapped as he ran forward and attempted to pull the dying man on to his back. "We have to get to the medical corp., they can save you."

The man smiled kindly at his son before telling him to get to the Mizukage and tell him the mission was a success, and that Ziro shouldn't worry about him. Ziro wouldn't listen tho and ran off to find a medical shinobi the could heal his father. He would return several minutes later to find the man that had taken care of him alone for five years dead in the center of the street, that kind smile, the one Ziro always saw, still on his lips as the freezing rain of Kirigakure continued to fall, coating the sorrowful scene in blanket.

Hm...ok. Just beware of spelling and spacing here and there. It would be nice if it was a tad longer too. Other than that: pass.

Lolz. Just watch the punctuation for possessive nouns here and there. Other than that, good job. A fair earned pass. <3

My character's name is Shinkou Uchiha. I wish to join Konohagakure.

RP sample:
Shinkou awoke under a tree, suddenly remembering where he was and what had occured before he slept. She was dead... His teammate had died at the hands of their target, and all he had done was watch. Watch as the cold blade of the enemy sliced through her flesh. Watch as her blood poured onto the ground. Watch as he crushed her lifeless skull under his foot. He just watched, and now, there was nothing. Shinkou stood up and started walking back to his village, alone, fearing what his sensei would think of him.

Pretty gruesome... But good job, pass.

P.S. Uchiha eh? You'll have to ask the vicecaptain (ViciousKira) first. As for Konohagakure no Sato, I take care of the applications. I'm almost always around so go ahead when you're ready. <3

Splendid job. A well-earned pass. Excellent usage of adjectives to create a...uh...rather dark, depressing effect.

Now, I shall go update the passed list.
