well a new year is now here, time for change and what not.
this year i'm trying to set some goals/resolutions for my self.
1) get at lest one of my comic scrips publish.
2) go on at lest one date.
3) write more.
that what i got so far.
what's your goals/resolutions ?

My only resolution: think of a good resolution.
...just kidding. My New Year's resolution is the same every year: lose weight and read more. Another one I have for this year is to get another girlfriend.

My resolutions for this year:
1) Do not be an idjit.
2) Keep losing weight, develop arms less noodly.
3) Save up and work on getting back in school.
4) No, seriously. DO NOT be an idjit. scream
Is it bad I'm considering trying to live up to a Heinlein-like code of honor? I really respect his characters, except, y'know, for the loads of incest. gonk That bit is a little off-putting.

New Year's resolutions?
Get into grad school.
It's funny, all my posts lately seem to be about that very topic. It's like it's consuming every aspect of my life or something...

Resolutions? Never was too keen at keeping those...but let's see what I can "aspire" to this year:
1. More Gaia, less snacks.
2. Finish writing my damn story by the end of the year before it decides to eat what's left of my sanity with a used spork.
3. Spend more time with my loved ones*.
4. Find a new job before the Christmas Season starts again.
5. Find a sugar daddy to pay my college tuition and then dump his a** as soon as I claim my diploma.
*Dessie and Bumblebee (my silver and blue DS') and Draugluin (my PS3**).

I flew home for Christmas which was nice, if grating and boring sometimes. I saw all my friends and spent a decent amount of time with the love of my life. I'm still kind of scratching my head as to how I managed to keep from tearing up when I saw her again for the first time since I left, but there you have it. She spoiled me utterly for Christmas with a fantastic limited edition hooded sweatshirt covered in Japanese tattoo art (with a massive zombie oni on the front- she picked it out specifically because of my tattoo handle whee ) and the December issue of Playboy, me being the Suicide Girls devotee having never laid hands on an issue of Hef's magazine before. I got her a moonstone ring, the new reprinting of the first issue of Playboy (with Marilyn Monroe as the cover girl, one of her idols), and the Vancouver Starbucks city travel mug.
I took her to see Sweeny Todd on opening night for our first date. It's an interesting experience being cuddled up to a woman laughing out loud at Borat getting his throat torn open.
I did well for presents otherwise, from DVDs (Cars, Pirates of the Carribbean 3, Doctor Who Series 3) to an external DVD burner for my laptop and even Jamie Oliver's awesome new book.
As for resolutions, my real one is to become a hair stylist, tattoo artist, and body piercer by age thirty. My token ones are to get some muscle tone going, save up to take Katrina to Paris, and either make Assistant Store Manager or juget get a better job.

So, despite getting plenty by way of DVDs for Christmas my addiction hadn't been fed for a while. Off to the import shop, the same one where I acquired my copy of Fearless which earned me the envy and ire of Raven, to score myself copies of SPL and Storm Riders.
So, while in the neighborhood I swung into Planet Music and picked up an The Old 97s album and there it was. It was staring at me. My favorite movie from my youth which I rented over and over and over again from the video store. Monster Squad.
The 20th Anniversary Edition. gonk crying
I'm ******** old.
I'm going to go watch it and cry now.
