I know what you're saying, Kento, but I can't remember the name of it either. However, I don't recall it being colder. Solid is the "coldest" state of any kind of matter. However, I think I remember seeing something about a state of matter beyond Plasma where the particles were so excited within the substance that they were nearly moving at the speed of light. I might be completely wrong, but that's what I think I remember.

A plasma bolt is a blob of superheated gas contained in a magnetic field that disperses upon impact. In theory the coils along the barrel of the weapon create, contain and propel the magnetic field around the gas and shoot it at the enemy.

even though its a gas it can stay solid it will just diffuse all over tha place

Um...was that supposed to make sense? The first and second halves of your sentence just completely contradicted each other.

Plasma reference 1
Plasma reference 2

Plasma is separate from gas due to unique properties. While yes, plasmas can be created with heat, the much more common cause is light (in the extreme ultraviolet range). Also, as was already stated a few times, plasmas can be guided with magnetic or electronic pulses. That's why the shots don't disperse over range.

Can we take all further plasma and technology discussion to the Imperial Technology thread please?

The eldar use plasma as well. Its a general piece of 40k tech. The reason to move it is because it wasnt specificaly eldar.

I have a few Harlequins my squad consists of 2 harlequins with a shuriken Pistol and combat weapon, one Shadowseer, a troupe master, and a death jester. Is this a decent combination?

That sounds like the basic combo right out of the box. And if so, then yes, its decent. Its a pretty well rounded CC unit in my opinion, but at the same time Im nto a big harley fan.

Personally the points to give them rending is worth it. Anything that bypasses an armor save generally is.

AAY-English translation:

It might be a decent combination to have a combination of all sorts of things (namely a Shadowseer, Troupe Master, and Death Jester) along with a few Harlequins, but (apparently those squads aren't a fun thing to use for combat).

Damn you're good. Can you do my German homework, or do you only translate mindless drivel into English?

(Don't get me wrong, it's a rather useful talent.)

Hell, I could give it a shot. I have an odd knack for languages. Sadly, though, Idjit-English is the only bit of translating work that is ever really needed.
