Can't you handle that? jeez.. yes, I know, I'm not swearing. Ok, scheduel it for tomorrow night. No, I'm not going during the day, I'll be TRAINING then... Now? I'm busy. I'm eating supper." Sethos decides to take out how bad he is feeling on the woman, which will hopefully make her leave him alone. for a day or two, "Italien, with the catboy who came to your house with me yesterday... listen, I have to go now, bye."
he then hangs up.

"Aside from the normal stalking part, she's nagging at me for not being for proactive with the sponsers, and saying, like 'what do you DO all day' and s**t and it's pretty obvious that I'm practicing, which is way more important than the sponsers, especially since that's her damn job in the first place and she KNOWS it."

Merc nods. I understand, even though she doesn't." He says. "I was in a similar situation with one of my little sister's friends once. She was obsessed with me. She was always following me around and stuff and she wouldn't leave me alone. She did it for almost a year." He sighs dramatically. "She stopped after she walked in on her brother and I making out though. It kinda showed her that I wasn't quite interested in her."

"I don't have an easy solution like that, unforunately. I think part of what spurred her on is that, well, I haven't really been interested in dating much since before I met Sasha, so i never had someone who i could say, 'See, I'm dating this person, not you, because I don't like you that way'. I almost hate to admit it though, but she is a good manager. When she's not being stupid."

Merc nods, then picks up the most interesting part of that. "Why were you not interested in dating? Did something bad happen before?" he asks, taking a piece of calamari and chewing on it.

"I had a bit of a bad run of it once in the past, and so I decided I wasn't going to get in a relationship on purpose at all. I mean, if it happens, then ok but... Thinking back on it now, we probably shouldn't have gotten together in the first place, let alone kept trying to stay together so long. It was just bad."

Merc nods, not quite totally understanding, but comprehending enough to feel compassion. "I understand that too. Although all of my relationships have always ended amiably, that doesn't mean that I don't get what you mean. It's hard..." He takes a lap of the milk.

"It's not even that it didn't end well, about 3/4s of it wasn't well. We were both totally worn out the entire time we were together. I can't believe we don't hate each other honestly... but I try not to think about it too much. I mean, it's a lot easier to remember as a 'what not to do again' kind of thing."

"That's what failed relationships are for though, really. They serve as a reminder of what you would do again and what you wouldn't. They help you to not make the same mistakes twice. Merc nods, "Some people don't get the point. But I suppose either you learn or you keep repeating the mistakes over and over. Anyway, it's good that you clued in. I don't think that I'd like you very much if you weren't smart." Merc says. During the run of their conversation, Merc had been eating and is now finished. He laps up the rest of his milk, forgetting again to try and drink like a human.

Sethos notices Mercutio and his far too dirty thought creating lapping and looks back to his own food, concentrating on finishing it up, which he does quickly enough

"Since we're both finished now, what do you want to do?" Merc asks. The waitress drops the bill off to them and he puts down a credit card. He's not rich or anything, but he did think enough to get a credit card before he left home.
