Mike looked over at Mistu and gave them a confused look. "I didn't know he'd do this!" He reached for his Pokeball and attempted to return Felsic, who easily dodged and rolled to the side.
Guess he's not coming back willingly. Mike suddenly became very worried.

What!? Flannery eyed the little Cyndaquil with surprise, as did her Arcanine. He's so tiny, she thought. How do I attack something so small?
"Ember," she said softly, and Arcanine nodded, reading the tone of her voice. He walked forward a bit, and breathed a puff of small flames towards the baby Cyndaquil that Flannery secretly wished would be easy to avoid.

Felsic glared at the Gym Leader's hesitation, charging at the Arcanine and hopping over the pitiful flames. He leapt right into the Arcanine's face, blowing a smokescreen into it's eyes and climbing up its face onto his back.
"Wow." Mike proclaimed. "He's got spirit."

"Wow." Mitsu said watching Felsic's little stunt. Karri smiled and cheering the little Fire Pokemon on.

"Judging by that reaction, it would be shameful to hold back," Flannery said to herself, folding her arms. She did admire the little Cyndaquil's spunk though. "Alright Arcanine. Extremespeed!" she called, and the mighty Arcanine obliged, and dashed forward at a remarkable speed. As he neared the gym wall he turned suddenly, sending the rider on his back skidding across the floor and sliding up against the wall. The force of the impact wasn't overwhelming, but Flannery was sure that Felsic would be shaken after that.

The little Cyndaquil rose quickly, visably dazed. He spun around looking for his attacker. Shaking off his blurry vision, he clenched his little paws and got down on his fours. Flames shot from his back as he jumped into the air, curling into a ball mid flight. Felsic knew he wouldn't win, but he wanted to let everyone know he was tough. Smoke and flames consumed the little Pokemon as bursts of white light shot out from the ball of thick gas that was heading straigt for the Arcanine. Before anyone could know what was going on, a Quilava emerged from the cloud, his longer body entwined in a wheel-like fashion. He slammed into the Arcanine's nose. "Take that!"
Mike cheered as he saw his Pokemon evolve. "It really never does get old." He said to himself with a smile.

Nina could only stare in shock as the copters flew off at an almost breakneck speed. She seemed to be oblivious to the fact that there was a dead man at her feet. She didn't move, save for her chest due to breathing, and she could only stare at the sky, watching the dots that were the helicopters fading into the blue.
All of a sudden, everything hit her. She let out a horrible scream and almost doubled over, but realized the Rocket's body was there. She ran off in the direction that Sabrina had went, crying hysterically.
"SABRINA!" she cried out, noticing her sister's figure walking toward the train station. "SABRINA, PLEASE WAIT!" Nina kept on running and Sabrina stopped and turned around. Nina's crying only became worse and her breathing was rapid and shallow as she ran into her sister's arms.
"Nina!" Sabrina said. "What is it? What's wrong?!" She tried to calm down her sister. "Nina, you have to tell me! What happened?!"
"Th--" Nina sputtered, "They came, at least six or seven of them! And they grabbed us and beat up Kilik and shot him and told Kilik to kill me! B-but Kilik didn't! He shot the person who had grabbed me and then he got beat up more and thrown into the helicopter and got taken away!" Her eyes were horribly red from crying.
"Wait a second, slow down!" Sabrina said. "Who came? Who did all of this?
"Team Rocket did!" Nina responded. "Giovanni was there too and he shot Kilik! Sabrina, I wanted so much to stop them but I couldn't!"
"Nina, there's no way you would have been able to subdue six or seven people," her sister replied. "So don't you dare blame yourself for not being able to help-- there's nothing you could have done! What we need to do is get help before we even THINK of trying to rescue Kilik."
"But we don't even know where our friends are right now!" Nina said, shaking a little bit.
"We have our Pokenavs. We can call them and meet up with them somewhere. I think that we should do that, but split up, as we'd be able to cover more ground."
Nina nodded. "...Okay," she said. "We can do that..." She reached into her pocket and took out her Pokenav. "I'll call Mike and Mitsu," she said, "so that way, you can call Kasiya." Sabrina agreed.
"Alright. Let's meet back in Saffron City later on." The sisters agreed, and Sabrina went to the train station and boarded.

Mitsu smiled at the sudden evolution. Just as Pidgey had evolved into Pidgeotto furing her match with Winnoa. Karri smiled looking at the impressive new Pokemon that stood before her. "C'mon Felsic! You can do it!" Mitsu cheered.

Kilik woke up slowly, everything in the room coming into focus. Of course, he squinted to the bright lights that were shining into his eyes. "Hmm...?" he groaned. The boy looked over to his right. He was on a bed, bandages wrapped around his head and shoulder.
"You're finally awake..." Giovanni's cold drawl whispered, "I was thinking you were dead." The man walked closer to the bed and sat down next to it.
"Giovanni!" he barked, trying to get up. Kilik sat up, only to fall back down, screaming in pain. The bullet wound in his shoulder was throbbing with pain. Tears were streaming down his face as he lay there, unable to do anything.
"I need to keep you alive," he growled, "Just so you can witness everything we've done. And...so you can help us." The man held out his hand to show Kilik the rest of the room.
The bed lifted itself so that way the boy could see everything. "No!" he barked, looking at the three tubes that stood in front of him. Inside the tube on the right was his Flareon, laying down on the bottom. Wires were attached to its body. In the center was his Scyther. Two Rocket scientists were studying it closely, due to its different colors. Finally, on the left, was his Koffing. It hovered in the middle of the tube, with wires hooked into the holes in its body. "Let them go!" Kilik cried out, looking at his Pokemon helplessly.
"We need to continue studying your Scyther. As for your Flareon and Koffing," Giovanni snapped his fingers. The tubes opened and the two Pokemon were placed into their respective Pokeballs. They were then placed into Kilik's jacket pocket, "You can have them back."
"What...what do you want with my Scyther?" he asked.
"That, my friend, is for another day." With that, Giovanni stood up and left the room.
Kilik lay on the bed as it was put back down. This was it; it was over. Something was going to happen. And he didn't know what.

Nina scrolled through the numbers that she had stored on her Pokenav. Eventually, however, she discovered Mitsu's number, and dialed it.
She heard the other line ringing. She had her fingers crossed and said, "Mitsu... please answer... Please..."

Sabrina immediately pulled her Pokenav out after she found a seat away from most of the other passengers. She dialed Kasiya's number and put the device to her ear. She heard the line ringing just as the train started moving; however, the train's speed casued Sabrina to lose her signal, and her line went dead. She swore under her breath, and put her Pokenav away, knowing that if she had lost her signal already, she wouldn't be able to regain it until after the train had stopped.
I don't have any Flying-type Pokemon, Sabrina thought. The closest Pokemon I have to a Flying type right now is Oracle, because she can Teleport, but only to the last Pokemon Center we've used... I need to evolve her into an Alakazam; that way she'll be able to Teleport to anywhere...
Just then, a thought came to her mind. Mom! She has a Xatu that I could borrow... But who's to say that she'd run away from me in terror after what I did to her? Sabrina slumped against her seat. "I really need to talk with Mom and Dad," she said quietly. Sabrina released Anastasia from her Pokeball, and it cocked its head and looked up to its trainer. "Smooch?" it asked. "We've got a really big problem," Sabrina replied. "That's what's the matter.

"Eh?" Mitsu said and stopped cheering for a while and picked up her Pokenav. "This is Mitsu," she said answering the Pokenav.

"Nina? What it is?" Mitsu said kinda trailing off a bit. She seemed panic striken and Mitsu wasn't sure why.

"Yes, it was." Ryka replied, smiling back at Jaeshan. "If I remember, there are 3 other Pokemon that evolve using the same process. But of course, I don't know anything about Johto and Hoenn, so there are probably more.." She explained, her finger on her chin. She then looked at him and blushed. "Oh, I'm sorry about that! I can ramble sometimes.."
