Alright, how many of my American counterparts actually watched the debate? :: Hopes it's more than she's fearing it will be.:: I watched a good portion of them and I'm curious how many other people took an active interest in watching.

I've yet to watch it. I recorded it so Tommy and I can watch it together, I did watch a few minutes. I found it amusing Bush couldn't sit still and was obivously getting mad.

Too funny, Kerry is an awesome debator, his coach at Yale said he was one of the best. xd

I found it interesting that they showed Bush's response while Kerry was talking quite a bit but very little in reverse. But in any case, I think that you are correct in the acertation that Kerry came off looking the best from the demenors of the two canidates. I kept on thinking of what SNL would do to it. Bush is the easy part. He slouched, studdered, and made faces the entire time. Don't get me wrong. I think that he is more than likely a decently smart man that gets flustered easily. But in a debate, someone who gets flustered is not what you want. But he is more resolute in his actions than Kerry.

Though I thought that if you only considered verbal communication, that Bush held his own and it was almost a tie. The non-verbal communication though heavily weighed in on Kerry's side.

I still don't know which way I'm going to vote. I don't think that Kerry would make a good Commander-in-Chief. At the same time, Kerry would do worlds better than bush in domestic issues.

It is tempting to say that my vote won't matter. But in 2000, the election came down to just 9 men (the Supreme Court). But if you look at the electoral college, I doubt that my vote would count that much. I am in a heavily Republican area. So much so that the Presidential candidates are not even spending that much effort campaigning here. Here again, I am not supporting doing away with the electoral college and going with the straight popular vote. That would cause it to cease being a represenative government. (Whole debate there, which I will not get into.)

I am going to vote, because I want to exercise my full right as an American citizen. All that can be done is to make a decision based on the facts that you have a the current time and pray for the best. No matter who is elected though, I pray that they have the good judgement and foresight to lead this country for the next 4 years (possibly 8 in Kerry's case).

My dad is severely against Kerry. It's really funny actually. xd

Sorry, I just don't know how people can be undecided. It's not like last election. The candidates are clearly different.

At least Kerry didn't sit there with a blank look on his face at point. Logan did the cutest thing when Bush started stammering. When Bush would fizzle, Logan would do "DUUUHHH" xd At least I think that's what he was saying.

Hi. I'm new here so I'm not sure if anyone has brought up anything like this before.

My daughter, Alyson (she's 3 1/2) has been getting persistent sty's (or however it's spelled) for almost two years now. She had to have surgery last September because if she didn't it would leave a visible scar.

Right now she has two, both on her left eye (upper and lower lid). These ones are worse than usual, and I'm worried that she may have to have surgery again.

What I was wondering is if any of the other parents here have had this problem with their child. It's really frustrating and doesn't feel like it's ever going to end.

I'm sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place.

I don't know much about sty's, so I'm sorry I'm not much help there...

I just finished watching Shrek 3-D with Shaun and Ty, and just for fun we stuck the glasses on one of our cats. This one will generally put up with anything, so we managed to get a pic of it. It was too funny.

I do not know much about stys, sorry. But I am sure that someone in the GPG probably does. You may get a better response to your question, if you make your own thread about it here in the guild. You did not post in the wrong place at all, but some members don't keep up with the main chat... so you could be missing out on having someone help you, because they never saw your question.

Good luck on your situation!

Alyson's watching Shrek right now, too! She loves that movie.

She thought the picture was really cute. We've got four cats and she's always putting blankets over them and (sometimes) is a little rough with them.

>.< No!

I was an idiot and went through my profile to PM my sister and hit the "save changes button" instead of the "Mail" one and ended up naked. I have to wait until my items get restored to see my DT and pengies now.

Lanzer's on-line though and he had BETTER be doing item recovery or I shall scream. Turns out the last 16 days he wasn't working on it at all and doing coding for the bank and trades. confused
