Nora's expression flickered at the word collects, then she shrugged. "Won't be my responsibility if he does. I only got space for the one, thanks, so next one's yours." At least Sasha was intact, so it wasn't like Evan was going around literally beating people to death. Only just a little bit.
Did she mention how much she hated trying to make this vial?
"D'you know this one?" she had to ask, since Cee seemed to be a sociable sort.

Maebe shouldn't have teased the boys in this their first exposure since Jude had found the news, but if she hadn't, she wouldn't have been Maebe, and that would have been a shame. So instead, she leaned in and left a long, lingering kiss on Otto's neck, marking him with blood there before actually listening to his advice and getting back to the vials - while never again allowing him to shift an inch away from her, without her shifting to press against him again. "Yeah. So. Remember how I was just like, hey, you should thank him? Nevermind, let's go feed him to the zombies." She picked up one piece of vial, looked at it carefully, and then gently placed it over her now-risen middle finger held in Jude's direction.
