Kari glared at the pom on the end of her line... another one she couldn't keep? Really?
Kari lobbed the pom back into the water before storming off to find something else to do. Hopefully something that wasn't as cold... and rage inducing...

She stepped into the middle of the river, eyes darting to and fro as she looked for the poms. She felt a shift in gravity and heard a crunching sound as the ice beneath her cracked and she plunged into the water. Pulling herself out, she sloshed away, heading to the dorms so she could change.

Another day of skittering around on the thin ice, eagerly chasing after the poms. The ice cracking again just as he was about to catch one made him briefly consider still chasing it, but another ominous squeaking crack sent him skittering back to shore again.

Cailean huffed and growled as he was tripped by the pom and landed on his but while it slipped safely into the freezing water. Out of spite he growled louder at it and threw a pebble into the water after it before dusting himself off and going back to shore.

Why did it always seem like a certain Pom spotted her before she spotted it? Oh well, that thing was long gone already anyway. Simply wasn't going to cry over missed poms.
