Rhys was at the beach again, just taking another stroll. He was lost in thought about the recent happenings, so he wasn't paying too much attention to a whole lot, just let the sounds of the waves fill his ears and let his mind wander for a little while. For the most part it wandered to Seren and how things somehow were happening with her, however one-sided. He hadn't even admitted anything yet, to himself or to anyone for that matter...but he wasn't stupid. Or blind. He knew and felt something there for him, and whatever it was it was new and fascinating and he couldn't say that he didn't like it.
In fact, he actually liked it. Quite a bit.
She was fun and thoughtful and could cook and was generally amazing, and he...wasn't. Not really, anyway, so he wondered what it was about him that got her attention at all. It probably started back when she first searched him out during hell's weekend, and sort of just snowballed from there to what it was now. And even at Atlantis, there was a subconscious pull toward her, watching her back and making sure she was alright for the most of it.
And speaking of Atlantis, what the ******** was that all about again? He still wasn't sure...but he was relieved for sure that the rain was gone and everything was mostly normal again. Even Kim, sho had supposedly died. She died. And now was alive and well. And Melvin was underwater, also alive and well.
His thoughts kept on wandering...

Kim had nothing better to do with her time, and she had heard that there were things going on, things washing up on the beach so she figured, what the heck and headed over to see what had ended up on the shore. The weather did seem to be good for something like this to be happening anyway, sun shining birds singing and most of all no rain falling on her head. Everyone was happier about that, after all that water things were getting so soggy that dry was such a gift.
There didn't seem to be much going on, the shore was clear and surprisingly clear of anything that someone could call rubble. Just shells, which she picked up curiously, it had a lovely shine to it and seemed like something that was worth putting on a shelf or using on one of the doll she was making. They were all hand made so taking time to add a small shell into one wasn't that big of a deal. Actually many of the shells seemed to be good looking, a few were broken but she figured she was only going to take one of the to return to the room she was sharing with Terry, he would go insane if she added too many. She probably would as well, too many shells would make it seem as if they were living in one afterall, and it would be more to have to move when they were finally ready to do that.
So much for finding things worth taking home though, there really didn't seem to be anything that fit that bill, the shore was so clean. She kicked around a bit and sat down for a time just taking in some of the warm sunshine. After all the terrible weather it seemed like a good thing, bask in the sun, relax and then get back to work. There were always things to be done back in the dorms or around the grounds. She didn't know what her own mission was going to be, likely more cleaning or moving of damaged items, she just hoped it wasn't going to be some work in the kitchen, there were only so many puns she could make about beating meat before it got stale. That or people started throwing things at you and suggesting they were going to kill you if you don't shut up.
When she got tired of sitting there pretending she wasn't bored, she got up and started on her way back, frowning a moment as she found... a bar of soap? Really things like that on the beach? Someone had to be showering or bathing here. Strange hunters. Really the stranger thing was that she was going to pick up the soap and take it back with her as if that was a normal thing to do.
Finding that made her pause again though, could there be something else here? There were no foot prints at the moment so it wasn't a matter that she had missed out, it was more of a matter that there was nothing to see. She frowned and paced up and down the shore, listening to her weapon muttering that she was now just wasting time, there was nothing there and she knew it as well as he did.
True, but was wasting time such a bad thing on a day like this? It was warm, all she had to do was head back and do what? Clean, cook, train? There were no mission reports and nothing that made her want to rush that was for sure.

Seren began to walk down along the beach, her eyes scanning the sand and gravel along the way. She was curious about things she could find, as always. It helped that today was warm, and sunny, and yet not TOO warm. She wore her jacket tied around her waist, and just enjoyed the gentle breeze coming in off the ocean. She glanced up, every so often, wondering if she'd see anyone else scavenging for items. She kind of hoped she did see... one person, at least, and sighed, realizing how she just couldn't get them off her mind. Other then that, though, she honestly would have been fine not seeing anyone at all while she scavenged. It was nice to be able to relax and just visit the beach by herself. She didn't need to worry about anyone asking her why she was wearing a turtleneck on such a warm day at the beach. It was just easier on her, in the long run, to not deal with it. She laughed, suddenly, though, at the thought of taking a walk on the beach with a certain person. She liked the image, but was convinced it was unlikely to happen. His interest in her seemed to only extend as far as friends, as far as she could tell.
Well, maybe... There had been that confusing afternoon in her room when he gave her the hair clips... But she wasn't going to dwell on that. She really needed to focus on... "Oh!" She said, startled, as she stumbled on something large, and lumpy.
