Lady Aryana of the Seelie Fredrick looked at Devon worriedly he knew his friend would do anything that he thought might bring Lark joy or make her smile regardless of himself but what if by doing this he ended up hurting her more. Fairies lie and what if her parents were long dead or what if someone close to Lark like Bo or someone else In the pack got killed going after a maybe. "Devon are you sure this is wise what if they are already dead and that was just another lie?" He asked growling as he heard what sounded like a beasts roar back the way they came did the fairies know about their presence already?

Devon considered his friends advice. he was thinking more clearly now that he knew Lark was waiting for him. But he was feel a new kind. Cold and calculating. He could think more clearly. "Kila. How few wolves would you need?" he asked. She frowned. "It would be tough but I can do it with five wolves." Devon nodded. "Good. That's all I will spare then." It is worth it if there is a chance. he said privately to Fredrick.
Kila looked in the direction of the palace. "You should go now. Before you loose your change at surprise. If you can, avoid the queen. She didn't reach that spot by birth. She killed for it." she said darkly.

Lady Aryana of the Seelie Lark stood silently like a ghost by the priestess called Mab, who was gripping her arm tightly to bruise it as she was placed on the alter it was time for the for the ceremony to begin. She was out of time. "Devon if you can here me leave now, I don't want you to die too. Run."Fred nodded at Devon but he couldn't help the growl that passed his lips a Kila stated yet more knowledge she couldn't have known if she was a witch. She was up to something. "Scott keep a close eye on her, something's up."

Devon moved the command them "We move now!" he said. All shifted running toward the ceremony. As planned they broke into two groups, the larger set to attack on the side farthest from the altar to distract them as much as possible. Devon and his wolves would go directly through to where large was. There was to be no mercy. The result was chaos. There were screams and startled yell as the wolves lunged at sentries and knight and others at the party goers. Some moved to assist the other nights against the wolves. Light flashing as fae threw magic. It was a whirl of bodies, wolves, snow and light. The other group used the distraction, leaping at those gathered around the alter. Anything to confused them, kill them and get to Lark.

Lady Aryana of the Seelie Lark was startled to see Devon and numerous other wolves that was on the attack, their was to many for her to count, he was here has,her heart lifted with joy as she saw her white wolf fighting for her but it dropped when she saw the queen holding a glowing staff and beast stood over the alter. It was a chimera. Fredrick was assigned to head to the alter and so, cutting through the fairies like well aimed arrow, until to stop dead as a beast stepped in his path in front of the alter guarding the queen, the priestess and more importantly like the beast spat fire and lunged at him the called Scott and Bo to his side. Ash growled he cut down a brown wolf that was on his shoulder and began to head for the quite obviously the leader and the wolf Lark loved so. It was time for it to die for real this time. "So we meet again mutt, so tell how's your mother? Did she die yet?"

Devon growled, form shifted until he was hunch over on two wolf-like leg. He's body ripped with muscle and bristling with fur. His jaws opened in a terrifying grin. "No. I'm after you failed in that endeavor." he grunted as he disemboweled a fae trying to get at him. "You will not be so luck." He lunged at the prince, dodging his raised, trying to get to close for the prince to swing it. His claws were deadly sharp as he slashed the man's throat.
The Chimera roar, spewing more fire as he lunged toward the Beta. It was an abomination of pieces that shouldn't have been about to function together. This fact seemed to put this best in a constant rage.
As it neared, Kila came soaring out of nowhere, leaping higher that a human should be able to. To bloodied swords were in her hands. Ones she stole from the dead. She soared over that head, just inch above it. Her sword whipped down to slice at it's snake tail Severing it. It shrieked in pain. An unnatural sound "Go for the throat!!!" she screamed to Fred. "Avoid everything else!" She moved past, charging Mab.
Tatiana stood. Anger pouring off of her as a tangible power. She would not lose this opportunity. She would kill the girl herself if she needed to.

Lady Aryana of the Seelie Lark was shivering with fear and cold as she watched Devon and the fairy prince fight each other with horror, she had never seen Devon be so bloodthirsty, as he was now he scared her. She turned to look at the fairy which was the queen how was standing at the head of the alter she was now chanting the same thing Mab had started and both of their bodies were glowing with magic and then she began to feel pain, like something was crushing the life out of her she screamed in pain. "We shall see." Ash said after he got out of the way of the beasts claws right before they finished disembowel him. He chanted quickly and his sword pulsed with magic and the blade turned into a giant shard of ice which he ended up stabbing the wolf in his rib cage close to his heart right as his throat was cut out. Fredrick nodded at Kila dodging the chimera's attack's with lightening speed and struck the throat of the main head tearing it out. Mab was waiting for the wretch with her double edge sword slashing her across the chest with a well aimed strike

Devon grunted at the pain of being stabbed. As the Prince dropped he grabbed the sword to keep it from being pulled out of him. He couldn't afford to bleed out right now. So he broke the sword, leaving a chunk in his chest. They need to finished this now before he lost any more wolves. "TO THE ALTAR!!" He cried, charging toward where Lady lay.
Kila moved with the moment of the blade. It bit into her chest deeply, but she would service for now. Her sword came up to push Mab's blade down and hers came down to slice into the priestess's chest.
The Chimera shrieked and the main head spammed. The thing seemed go crazy for a moment before quieting. It started falling appart.
Tatiana continued to do what Mab was to distracted to do. She noticed the other woman despite her concentration on the ceremony. So she was back.... How quaint.

Lady Aryana of the Seelie Lark screamed in pain as the spell grew stronger her body felt unbearably hot and she couldn't breathe anymore and she was blacking out. She was dying. Fredrick held on to the beast's neck until it collapsed and broke apart. Then at Devon's command he charged the toward the alter mostly he charged toward Mab and the other fairy who was locked in mortal combat. the tackled the other fae woman from behind taking out her legs.

Kila took Mab's fall to kick her in the head, knocking her out cold. Then she planted her feet and looked toward Tatiana as wolves rushed forward. She raised both swords and started a chant of her own. One that she had been creating for years. She was no match for the queen but she could disrupt the spell enough to give Lark time. She began to chant almost singing.
Devon ran toward the altar, ignoring his pain as best he could. He was going to safe Lark and leave this place. Yes, he was doing it for selfish reasons, but doing this would also safe them all from these abominable creatures. He would do anything to keep them from succeeding. He lunged for the altar.
Tatiana waved a hand and Devon stopped as if he hit a wall. She turned her furious gaze to Kila. She had gotten better. She spell wasn't working as it should with this child disrupting. It made it all but useless for her needs. "Well daughter. You've returned home." she said coldly. "Must you feel the need to spite me."

Lady Aryana of the Seelie Lark was able to breathe a little easier and open her eyes once the counter spell by Kila had be cast but her body still glowed with the bright golden light of her soul that was still being drawn out from her body and she was still in pain but she was able to struggle somewhat weakly against the ropes that held her tightly to the alter. She looked over and she saw that Devon was still alive but he had a sword sticking out of his chest and it looked dangerously close to his heart. "Oh Devon, no. You have to run get out of here." she cried she couldn't bare to see him this wounded. He would kill himself if he kept fighting. Fredrick snarled and looked between the two women confused Kila was a fairy!?

The wolves were all together now, spread out in a circle with the fae knight around them. Those on the outside kept the faeries back and those on the inside tried to find a way to the altar.
Kila smiled bitterly. She never wanted to be Tatiana's daughter, but the woman was. Birthed her after a liaison with a human and left her, not coming back till she was nearly grown and killing those she cared about. She was taught to use magic there, if not by choice. This woman was no mother of hers just a former warden. "You are not my mother. You never were." she snapped. She continued to chant, anything to keep from completing the sacrifice. I few more minutes and the time would be past. She just needed time.
Devon knew that the girl had been lying. But it was of little concern to him right now. She was helping them and that was all he needed at proof. Him and several of the other wolves were trying to get at Lark through the invisible wall. "Lark. Just hold on, we are going to get you out of this." he said, pacing back and forth. "Fight her!" he cried, glaring at Tatiana.
Tatiana only had eyes for the girl who got away. "What has it been? 2 centuries? You still cling to that mortal half of your self. A shame .But you are not near powerful enough to do anything to me,"

Lady Aryana of the Seelie "Devon no, run you have to run." Lark spoke to him breathless, the minutes that was left dragged on like hours. She was fighting the fairy queen as best she could by pulling at the ropes wildly like a doe in a trap, the ropes were cutting into her skin causing her to bleed from her wrists. After a minute of physically fighting she fell back on the alter panting. Lark was still fighting to keep her soul in her body but it was difficult like playing tug o war with a bear. She couldn't hold out much longer. Fredrick paced the wall along with Devon test for a weak spot, he thought he found one at the bottom where Lark's feet was. It was small but maybe if hit with enough force it could make an opening. "Devon over here." He called and when Devon came he said. "Maybe if we all hit hard at once.." he didn't have to finish the sentence

Continued pacing, but made his way to Fred. He nodded to three other wolves. We have to do this fast. he stated.
Kila gestured and a ball of light flew toward the queen she waved it away, still working on her own spell. Kila drew as much power as she could from herself and what flowed threw this land. If only she could halt it a little longer.
Devon, Fred and the other wolves chosen hit at the weak point. Attacking it with as much force as possible. It shatter and they fell forward. Ignoring his pain, Devon was the first to stumble forward and slash at Lark's bounds.

Lady Aryana of the Seelie Lark looked weakly over at the other side of the barrier where she heard a sound like that of a window breaking and was surprised to see Devon had broken through the wall her heart would have leapt for joy if she wasn't in so much pain, once her ropes were cut moved weakly to hug her wolf gently. "Oh Devon you came. You came." She said as she passed out against him. Right as the clock struck passed midnight. A light which started from Lark body exploded in the sky dispersing the storm clouds revealing the northern lights.
