Juliet walked outside the school. It was a normal hot summer day and so, she decided to sit under a tree. She walked up to the tree which she had climbed earlier and had fallen off from. She placed her hand on the tree's trunk and said, "We meet again." she looked up at tree's top branches. "I wanna climb you again once I've had enough practice." she said with a small smile. She tilted her to look at a boy far away from the tree. He looked like the boy she had met by this tree earlier. She didn't even know his name which was weird because she had talked to him for quite some time. She shrugged and sat under the tree. After picking up a twig near her, Juliet started to doodle on the soft soil that she sat upon.

The Headmistress was taking the students and teachers for a school trip to the mountains and so, Juliet had to go too. She patted her tree and left to go to her dorm.
(She collected her stuff from her dorm and went to the mountains with the others...)

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy leaned back, resting his head against his favorite tree and sighing deeply as he casually surveyed the school grounds. Summer break. No two words when used together in the english language brought him a sense of peace and tranquility like those two. Summer break pulled up memories of beaches and barbecues and good times, times back in his childhood before he started to realize that what he could do wasn't exactly... normal. His sister wasn't so eccentric back then either. Seemed so much more relaxing in the past now that he thought about it.
He certainly wasn't about to make the mistake of falling asleep under his tree again. Mr. Grey's warnings had certainly proved true, so this time he was definitely going to stay awake. He unzipped a small carrying case, revealing a ukulele that he had brought from his dorm room. He hadn't really had much of a chance to use it during school, but now that he had loads of free time, he thought he would lean a little about it. He already knew a song or two, as it wasn't a very difficult instrument to use, so he began to strum it gently, singing softly at first, but the a little louder as he was fairly certain he was currently alone.
"I feel like nothing was real, until I met you. I feel like we connect, and I really get you. If I said you were beautiful girl, would it upset you? The way you look tonight, silhouetted I'll never forget it..."

Peter.Whitney Pleasant patina pulls apart a holy copper shrine Like gently creeping mossy claws, scarring all divine. Peter knew it would work this time. That fat pigeon would be his! He was racing across the school grounds, chasing the damn thing. But every time he got close, it would flutter into the air and land ten feet away. He had tried sneaking up on it, but since that hadn't worked, he was now just charging after it.
For some very odd reason, he had the urge to yell 'For Pony!' but since that struck him as a rather odd battle cry, he held it in.
As he ran, he was vaguely aware of someone nearby, playing music. But Peter was fully intent on one thing and one thing only. That pigeon.
Because now that school was out for the summer, food was harder to come by. The kitchen was nearly empty and the dorms were no where near as easy to break into as the school. He could usually get into the school without destroying things but now that they'd fixed the hole in that one dorm, he had a hard time getting in without being noticed.
And his food stores were already getting kind of low. He hadn't had enough time to really store up much before school let out for the summer. And on top of that, he had to fight the squirrels off. They'd raided his stash more than once.
So yes. Now, he was focused on the fat pigeon. He was definitely going to catch it. And roast it.
Stupid, fat bird. All the things you think you value, including the gift of life Will slowly, gently fall apart, 'til the world is right.

Percy Mikelovitch
Percy was just getting too the good part of his song when a boy ran by, chasing a... rather plump pigeon. He faltered, his fingers hitting odd strings and his voice fading as he stared after the boy incredulously. That... wasn't exactly something you saw every day. Honestly though, he should be used to seeing things he didn't see every day by now. As it was, he wasn't really sure if he should say anything, or even approach the boy. As a matter of fact... he rather felt like going to the beach instead of sticking his nose into places he had no business. He stuck his ukelele into its case and stood, brushing himself off and heading towards the school gates after giving the running boy another intrigued glance.

Lara pulled her cap down as she stepped outside. For her every summer break was the same, no school and nothing to do. Staying in the dorms got rather boring after a few hours and everyone else seemed to be minding their own businesses anyway. She may be somewhat anti-social but spending summer break by herself was just lonely. Lara almost jumped backwards as a boy sped past her. He was chasing a...pigeon? She had always found most of the students odd but never had she met one who chases pigeons. She remained calm despite still being not used to the school and the students in it. "So...uh....why are you chasing a bird?" Anti-social she may be but that doesn't stop her from wanting to poke her nose in others businesses sometimes. Especially when the person concerned is chasing a pigeon. A large, juicy-looking pigeon.

"Because I can't catch the damn thing if I'm standing still!" Peter called without batting an eye. He made a flying leap for the pigeon, which calmly fluttered up to the roof, and got a mouthful of dirt for his trouble. "Oi! Get back down here, you fat b*****d!" he called, brushing himself off as he stood. The pigeon, as expected, ignored him. Peter wondered if he could scale that column. He had a feeling...not without breaking his neck.
He huffed a sigh and wiped the dirt out of his mouth. Well, next time. Maybe for now, he'd go catch a squirrel.
Turning, he looked at the girl who'd spoken to him. Well, she looked smarter than the other females he'd met here. That was something to her credit. She didn't, however, look like she had any food he could mooch or swip off her.

"Yes, the school is on vacation," Karen paused for a while. She was starting to feel a bit awkward as she realized that a girl lurking around the school by herself was indeed sad. "I'm not really the frolicky type and everyone seemed to have gone elsewhere while I was reading. Pretty sad too for a guy to be hopelessly chasing a pigeon around, huh?"
She glanced at the plump bird, looking down at them, unfazed over being chased. What has that bird being fed on anyway? It looked even healthier than most of the students.

"Yes, well, the first time you go a week where all you have to eat are three tulips, some acorns you stole from an angry squirrel, and a few crunchy things given to you by some weird lady who has a thing for younger men, then you can say it's sad to chase around a fat bird in the hopes of roasting his fluffy arse over a spit," Peter said.
"So, what are you reading?" Peter asked, going over to throw himself on the ground under a tree. He stared up through the branches, wondering vaguely why the school couldn't have more fruit trees. He'd kill for an apple right about now. "I tried reading once. Didn't get very far. Books don't last long in these hands." He glanced down at his hands as he spoke, making a face at the dirt caked under his nails. He'd have to go take a bath in the fountain later.
"Anyway, the only thing I've had much chance to read are my wanted posters," he added with a yawn. All the things you think you value, including the gift of life Will slowly, gently fall apart, 'til the world is right.

"Oh, just some detective novel. I was also finishing up on some homework." Lara replied. The man she was talking to did not really seem like a bad person to her, just suspicious. Really suspicious. Well, her opinion changed when she heard that bit about the wanted poster.Oh crap, he's not some dangerous criminal is he? But what would a criminal be doing in front of a school anyway? She decided to just brush it off for the time being but still keeping caution.
"So....what's wrong with your hands? Other than being unwashed that is." She sat down on the grass too but still kept some distance from him. She felt something in her skirt's pocket. There was a small packet of half-squashed jellybeans that she had bought a few days ago and had forgotten about.
"Want some?" she handed the packet to the man. Sitting under a tree with a guy she had never met before felt awkward but then again, she always felt awkward when she meets strangers.

Peter.Whitney Pleasant patina pulls apart a holy copper shrine Like gently creeping mossy claws, scarring all divine. Peter sat up slightly. Oh, hey. She was offering him something to eat. At least...he thought those things were food. He wasn't really sure. They looked like beans, from what he could see, except rainbow colored. Pfft. Rainbow colored beans. Honestly. The people in this time. They came up with the weirdest stuff.
"Yeah, sure. Yes. Just set it there on the ground," he said, pointing to a patch of grass between them. If he held out his hand for them, she might accidentally touch him and, well, she was offering food. He didn't want to inadvertantly hurt her. Not biting the hand that fed him and all that--not that he'd actually ever bitten anyone. That was just nasty.
Oh. Well, there was that one time with the priest, the pastry chef and the monkey. But he'd been hungry. And that was the last time he'd ever bitten a monkey. He vowed never to do it again, even for the sake of cannoli.
"And nothing's wrong with my hands," he continued. "It's not really the hands that are the problem. More like, all of me. Set the package down and I'll show you." All the things you think you value, including the gift of life Will slowly, gently fall apart, 'til the world is right.

Set it down on the ground? Lara did not really get it but she did what he said anyway. She had this feeling that she was going to see something interesting. Something that would break her out of her boredom. Usually she would not be offering food to shady looking men who chase birds and claim to have been on wanted posters. Not having anything to do was worse though. But then again this could be a trick. If anything were to happen, like the man turning out to be crazy for instance, Lara was ready to run for the dorms

Peter watched the girl set the package of rainbow bean...things...on the ground. Amused by her cautious behavior, he picked the package up by one corner, and set it on the palm of his hand. The crinkly wrapping didn't hold up for long. It rapidly wilted, shriveled, and began to crumble away.
Peter held his hand up and dropped about half the beans into his mouth because they would probably not rot away as quickly as the paper, but he didn't know how long it would take so he needed to eat them quickly. As soon as he bit into them, he nearly spit them out.
They were sweet! Sweet, rainbow beans. What the hell? But they were food and he was hungry so he gagged them down without complaint and slowly started nibbling on the rest of them, having to resist the urge to just open his mouth and let each half chewed mass spill out onto the ground.
"So what's your name?" he asked around a cloying mouthful of multicolored sugar. All the things you think you value, including the gift of life Will slowly, gently fall apart, 'til the world is right.

As the packet crumbled into nothingness, Lara's eyes widened. Though it may seem like she was only mildly surprised, inside she felt a bit weirded out and very confused, What the hell did he just do? She tilted her head slightly, peering at the hand through her thick glasses. It was no trick done by mirrors or slight of hand. Where would he be keeping mirrors anyway? From what she had heard so far his whole body was like that.
"Oh, uh....My name's Lara, Lara Watson." she tore her eyes away from his hand, "What's yours?" Even though she usually avoided conservations, she had a whole load of questions for this guy. Like what he was here for in the first place. He definitely did not look like a student. He did not give of those student "vibes" either. Though it may seem rude, Lara was tempted to ask him if he were a full-fledged hobo. ((sorry, really slow replies. Not so free nowadays))

"I'd shake your hand but, you know, you look better with them still properly attached rather than just bleeding stumps." He felt a little ill after all that sugar but he supposed itw as better to be ill than starve. Not that he could really starve, per se. Just be perpetually hungry.
He stretched out his legs and leaned against the tree, folding both arms behind his head as he looked up at the patches of blue between the leaves.

"Yeah," Lara replied to his question," It does not seem so bad...so far. I find the place....strange." This guy, Peter, seemed quite the laid-back person. He did not seem to enjoy the jellybeans she gave him. Must have been really hungry to eat all of it in one go. "You don't like jellybeans, huh? Too bad all the food I have are sweets."
There was still something that was nagging on her mind. Like, how did he just...do whatever he did with that wrapper. Yet, another reason to stick around for a little while.
"So...uh... what exactly are you doing here? You don't seem to be a student and I'm pretty sure there are better places to be lurking around on than the school grounds."
