Kenneth stopped pacing slowly turned and looked at Alex, in the back of his mind he was once again in his 15 year old body being running for his life, as he was being chased by a pair of Death Eaters. "No I've never had the Imperius Curse placed on me, but I do know what its like to be torture with Dark Magic." He was once again back in the forest, his body was tossed to the ground as the Death Eaters used the Cruciatus curse over and over again on him. There where flash's of blue light and then quickly unbelievable pain as if someone was pulling the very skin off his body. He was now back in the classroom staring down at Alex, there was only one person who he'd ever told the whole story too, and that was Aludra. A story in which he wished to keep buried in his subconscious. "And because of that experience I feel that my will would be strong enough to resist the Imperius Curse if it was ever placed on me."

After his trip down a very painful memory lane Kenneth decided to return to his desk and sit on its edge than pace back and forth in front of it. "Unfortunately no, you can not resit the Cruciatus Curse in the same why one resist's the Imperius Curse. You could try and block the pain in your mind, trick your brain into not feeling the pain, make yourself numb to you suffering."

Sparrow wrote down a couple things and then thought to herself. 'Death is instantaneous when the death curse hits you. Either there is no pain or nobody would be able to tell us there is pain cuz they died!' She waiting to the Professor to respond though fiddling with her pencil.

Meiko kept silent, writing down in her notebook on information about using one's mind to fight such curse. As she heard someone ask about if one can feel pain when hit by the death curse. She waited for the professor to answer the question, thinking. "Maybe the person will feel something... not sure though~"

I saw my beautiful 'friend walk into the dismal classroom and my heart soared like an eagle. She always seemed to look so beautiful even if she was too pig-headed for her own good. In my personal opinion a woman shouldn't be learning such crude spells, she should be my little arm candy. But I guess for England times were pressing forward to more modern times. I gathered my belongings and switched myself to sit next to Aludra. "Hello zere my friend.' I whispered in a sensual tone, careful so no one could hear my words. "It haz bean awhile since I hoff talked to you. Perhaps ve can talk in a more private setting, maybe in ze dungeons for some Nettle wine? I vant to talk to you alone, no von around. I expect to see you zere after class, wear somezing presentable." Before she could object nor testify, I leaned back in my chair and engaged myself into this pointless lesson.
"Im rezponze to Alex..." I paused and gave the Gryffindor girl a wink. "I don't think ve as a community would ever know. All zose who hoff been hit with ze curse hoff died unable to tell us. Profezor Reynold..." I began. "How hoff you been tortured by Dark Magic if I may azk? Az an Auror you must have had your fair share of hardshipz."

"Well Alex the most logically answer would be I have no idea if someone actaully feels something when they are hit with the killing curse. However there are two case's in which people where hit by the curse and did not die. Those two people are Harry Potter and Tom Riddle, both were hit with the spell and for various reason's did not die. It was been reported that both felt extreme pain like being hit by a truck." Kenneth then turned his attention on Vlad "That event was before I became an Auror, it was the reason I joined them. I did not want others to go though what I went though that night. Once I was healed I made a promise to myself to help stamp out anyone who was stupid enough to practice the Dark Arts. And I'm sorry Vlad but that experience is very personal and I'd rather not talk about." In his head he finsihed 'especially with you.'

I smiled and nodded. At least whoever got him did quite the number on him if he had to 'heal'. "Very vell Profezor. But, forgive, I do not see the harm in drabbling in ze Dark Arts. Durmstrang teaches it students in ze Dark Arts to undestand them, so ve can make our own choice about it. They are a gatevay to greater power. Vat is your opinion on it?"

As Professor Reynolds spoke of the Imperius Curse, will power and self-discipline, Lena listened carefully to every word, writing down many notes. She definitely wanted to learn to block the Imperius curse to never let herself be controlled by someone else. She’d read a few examples of dark wizards using that curse in the past, she remember reading something about a wizard named Stan Shunpike being forced to serve Lord Voldemort when he was alive and she didn’t want the to same to happen to her. She wondered for a moment if she had what it took to do so, if she had the skill to block the curse, and she continued to write notes and listen to the questions that were being asked to Professor and the answers he gave.

Kenneth narrowed his eyes and Vlad and said "Well then you are a fool, the Dark Arts will only lead you down a path of self destruction. True it may lead one to power, but at too high a cost. I feel that those who practice the Dark Arts are in fact weak, thus they seek to use those Dark skills to make themselves seem more powerful than they really are."
