Liana
She took a deep breath in and out as she closed her eyes. The feel of his hands on her skin felt relaxing and almost safe. She always felt safe but never had a moment where someone else made her feel safe as well. "If you ordered it of me I would have to do it" she said "But it takes a great deal of strength depending on how big of the town, it won't kill me just exhaust me to the point of me fainting"
She let her face rest on his thigh as she was incredibly comfortable now "I can't just do it on a spur of the moment, the witch who captured me made it that way where only by orders can I do something that destructive" she let out a soft chuckle "You could say that I was a bit too destructive when I was free. She had weaken me you could say, more than just one way to die, and she gave me feelings making me more human than I was though most of the time I ignore them"

Ivan Van Veen Van pulled his eyes away from the set to look down at his lapmate in mild surprise. The feelings, he already knew about that; Lia had told her. But that she could die, let alone in more then a single way, that was news. Not only was it news, it was worrisome news. He did not want his new found companion to leave him so quickly.
"You can die?"

Liana
Lia slowly nodded her head again "Yes" she says "Though it is extremely difficult to actually kill a demon" she told him "And especially with today electronics I love for anyone to try to kill me with a weapon I can't stop just by my mind" she says shaking her head "With the guns, knives, and fire power? That's both of my powers plus I'm stronger too" she says.

Ivan Van Veen "Physically stronger, you mean? That is interesting."
Ever the assassin, Van began to think of ways it would be possible to by-pass Liana's natural defenses. Just a few years earlier, Liana would be practically invulnerable. And even now, with Van's own scant arsenal, she was. He could only think of a handful of weapons that could hurt her, and two of them were from a movie he'd seen. Pitty. If she'd only come out a few years later.
"Well, I'm afraid weapons haven't changed all that much, since you were last out. They've just excelled into the world of iron and explosions. The only things that readily come to mind have been denied to the soldiers on the grounds that they are 'unfair.' Plagues and chemicals and the like. Unless you're immune to natural diseases?"

Liana
"Well since I am not human I say me getting a disease is highly unlikely" she said to him "I have never even got sick in my entire life I have seen humans and how sick some can get and it doesn't look pleasent" she told him.
Liana thought of the last kind of weapons she had seen before she went back into the watch. Mostly weapons with metal bullets but still nothing that could kill her. "I'll have to become familiarized with the newer weapons they have now" she told him.

Ivan Van Veen "How old are you?"
Van was still looking down at Lia, the television programme completely forgotten. He wondered if she could pick up a disease that was designed as a weapon. And even if she does, will she become an incubator, or a carrier? Unsettleing thoughts; in theory, she could pass the disease in question onto him, and he didn't have the amazing anti-body system that Liana had.
"They jam less, fire faster, and more acurratly. I'll take you to a range tomorrow; how does that sound? I don't have the best aresenal in the world, but it's decent. A good selection."

Liana
"I'm over seven hundred years old" she proclaimed to him "I'm considered young compared to some demons who have been on this earth before year one on this earth, here around the B.C years or even before that" she said to him "Like I said being immortal and incredibly hard to kill we stay alive for a very long time"
She smiled but thought of some of the demons she met here who were around when there was that war between the Trojans and Greece or some before that. She has heard stories of other demons from the demons she have met and in history books of people writing about humans whens it was really a demon.
"That sounds like a plan to me, it doesn't have to be the best as long as I can become familiar with today's weapons" she says.

Ivan Van Veen"But you can die? Is it a matter of letting your guard down, or are you permanently repulsive to flying metal and fire? That would be a useful ability; you'd be immune and invulnerable to anything that might happen to you down here in the little O."
Van laughed lightly. If he was more of a learned man, he might've questioned the common stories and parables of his younger youth.
"Oh, good."
He was starting to loose interest in the conversation; his eyes were wandering back towards the television.

Liana
"Metal and fire can not hurt me one bit, no matter how strong or more powerful it is. I am immune to it's feel of pain when it hits someone else. Like I have never felt what it is like to get a burn on myself and anything metal I can just absorb" she yawned as her eyes looked over at the t.v keeping her eyes on it.

Ivan Van Veen "So I can order you to take a swim in a volcano, and you'll be fine? This is good."
You never know when such a task will become useful. Van tried to be ready for all occurrences; at his heart, he was a kind of demented eagle scout. His fingers resumed their slow stroking along Liana's smooth and milky skin.
"Can you drown?"
He noticed her trying to hide her yawn, and couldn't help but smile a little; she looked adorable like that, like a small child protesting that they weren't tired, even though they could barely keep their eyes open.
"If you're tired, go ahead and go to bed. I'll keep until the morning."

Liana
Liana frowned when he asked her if she could drown "I don't know, I've always stayed away from oceans and large lakes. Something about it makes me uneasy and I know I can't swim" she told him as she shivered from the thought of going near water.
Lia could be near water and she was sure she could somehow survive but if she ever jumped into a pool or in the ocean she was sure she wouldn't last long. An unfortunate weakness but all demons had to have some kind of weakness.
She felt another yawn coming on and she sighed "Bed does sound good right now" she says and sits up. Standing up she does a little stretch before she moves towards the bedroom "Night" she said which she didn't know why she said that but she knew humans said it to others when they went to bed.

Ivan Van Veen Van wondered privately if Liana wouldn't just steam away into nothingness, like a flame killed by a splash of water, if she ever did enter full into water. An interesting death. Worthy of a video game, even. He mumbled his goodbyes to Lia in russian, assuming that she'd known his mother tongue well enough to understand him. He was tired as well, but wouldn't join her for some more minutes, after he'd finished the programme on the television and two more beers. Finally, half drunk, he stumbled into the bedroom, bumping into one of the few pieces of furniture in there that he owned (a left over memorabilia from an old girlfriend) before finally finding his bed; he curled up under the covers and feel quickly asleep, not even bothering to change out of his clothes.

Liana
Liana woke up in the morning but it was almost like a jolt except no gasp or sound of alarm came out of her voice. She was sitting up now as her eyes scanned around the room. She had woken from an odd chill to the bone feeling, which was odd since she never got cold.
Something about this feeling reminded Liana of it from a while before but she didn't know what and it was bothering the hell out of her. It was definetly a past experience but a lot of the times being caged up so long makes her forget some things that had happened in her past and only remembers when something is triggered by it. Sighing quietly she moved carefully out of bed so as to not wake Van and she shook the feeling away as she went over to her bags to look through her clothes.

Ivan Van Veen Van slept on, unaware of whatever it was that had spooked Lia, or even that she had been spooked. All his subconscious knew was that it suddenly had much more room (and blankets) available to sprawl, and he shifted over with half mutter of russian into the hot spot left behind by Liana's body, stealing her abandoned covers with no regard towards the demon's potential return. In his heart, he was but a man.

Liana
Liana heard Van rustling in the sheets behind her as she was looking through her clothes. Grabbing her clothes she glances behind her seeing that he was still asleep. Standing up she heads to the shower so she can get cleaned up for the day.
Once in the bathroom she was still bothered by the feeling she was getting and maybe taking a shower would rub it off. Turning on the water she got inside after undressing and she took a breath out as she made her own powers turn the water scalding hot as it didn't hurt her at all and it made her feel better. Once done she dried off and got changed into the new clothes that she now had.
