Metis raised her staff. "My last attack!" Metis charged at Devon and prepared to strike, but stopped half an inch from hitting his face. The pressure behind the strike was enough to knock Devon back. "Ah, overheated." Metis fell to her knees and Psyche vanished.

Devon stumbled back a few steps then regained his footing. He exhaled sharply, as if he'd been holding his breath. "You people are, I swear to God, the most insane people I've ever met. The people on TV aren't this bad." Devon sighed.

The door slid open. The room was cluttered with various leg and arm attachments, computers and manuals. A door in the corner of the area was open.
