 "Your wish is my command,"
Leva waved it off, "Not to worry, I'm alright with my lot in life, it has it's perks and all." She snapped her fingers and a two tiny monkeys appeared at Maria's feet and started dancing a waltz. Leva chuckled and watched them before snapping again. They disappeared in a puff of orange smoke.

 Maria face lit up. "That was amazing! I've never seen anything like that." She didn't know what to think about what just happened but she knew that she liked it. "I bet that's great when you're bored." Maria said laughing a little and sitting closer to the cage door.

Leva laughed, "Yeah, I try to keep myself entertained." She winked, "Mostly I mess with wishes, between you and I." She chuckled lightly, "One of my few amusements in life after all." She chuckled and stuck her tongue out playfully at Jay.

Jay looked up from his own breakfast and smirked as Leva spoke. He chuckled and shook his head. "Well all you really have to do to burst your little 'mess with wishes' bubble is wording the wish right." Jay said smirking and winked at her.

"I think if I was a genie I'd mess with wishes too." Maria said laughing a little. This was the most she had laughed in a long time. But then again she hadn't talked in a while either. She stood up and walked to the cage door. "Why do you run this shop?" She asked Jay hoping to get an answer, but not knowing if he minded questions or not.

Leva chuckled, "Oh, but that just makes the game more challenging for me." She said with a smile, "Yes, it's a theme among my kind to do so, very few don't." She glanced at Jay when Maria asked her question. She herself knew the truth. Scratching the back of her head she averted her eyes and floated in a circle, trying not to look at Jay's reaction.

Jay's hair seemed to cover his eyes as Maria questioned him. "It's a very complicated..." He said as he picked up his plate and walked towards her cage. He reached inside and picked up her plate. "Trust me Maria... If I didn't have to run this place, I wouldn't..." With that said Jay turned towards the kitchen and went through the doors with out a second glanced at either of the two women.

Leva sighed, "He's one of the few good guys I've come across Maria, even if he's been roped into this dirty business." She ran her hand through her silky long hair, "You couldn't have found a better prison to be thrown into...even if it still is just that."

Maria watched Jay take her plate and walk away as she pondered what he had just told her. "I know that I'm lucky to be here and not in a different shop." Maria replied to Leva. "This is the best I've been treated since becoming a slave." She sighed and went back to the pillows in her cage. "I no longer mind being here but I do need to be free again. I just have to wait for the opportunity."

Once everything was cleaned up Jay ran his fingers through his hair and closed his eyes. The shop's business was trully getting slow and he needed more inventory... If he didn't meet this month's quota he would be sent to Lurana's father. He held his face in his hands and tried to calm himself...

Leva chuckled, "Yes well, goodluck to you." She winked, "You'll need it." She floated about the room, checking on the pets that lined the walls. They all seemed to still be sleeping and therefore of no interest.

[LUMINOUS.] 
Anyone passing by, wouldn't be intrigued to look into a cell, piled with books. Then, again... no one would even begin to question whether a creature resided in such a disaster. A cell filled to the brim with mountains of books, as if the knowledge was trying to escape, reaching for an unseen sky.
The faint smell of tobacco drifted from the cell, as Luminous casually, inhale;exhale, smoked. He laid, sprawled out across a pile of literature, he'd already finished, eye's clouded over; distant, in thought.
What was he thinking about? Well, that was a simple enough question with a simple enough answer, I suppose. He was thinking about all the knowledge he'd gained, from the literature his eye's had the fortune of absorbing. Once a book caught his attention, he was as good as missing from the present world.
The door to his cage, swung open as he moved, causing an avalanche of knowledge... Which usually happened every time he decided to show himself. With a monotonous look, he stepped out, unconsciously stepping over the books. He stretched lazily and puffed on his cigarette.
With a slight c**k of his head, he examined the shop and noted that all these pets were fairly new, since he'd never seen them in his previous outings. Lumionous yawned and scratched his belly, which protested by growling at him. "Heh," he patted it and moved, sluggishly; towards the kitchen, patronizing it and ignoring the stares he'd received. He was used to it, with how rarely he showed himself and all.[Side Note: Mhn, horrible first post. I had it in my head and then... nothing! Dx]

Jay straightened up and looked at the door. "Wanting another book Lumious?" Jay opened one of the cabinets and pulled out a wrapped package, "This came in the mail yesterday. I though ya might like it..."

She was sick of sitting in the cage though, she may only have been here for that short while but it was enough to bore her to tears already. If she was lucky she would get out of here soon though, with her luck she would probably be stuck her forever and it would serve her right she was such an idiot anyways.
