There sure is a lot of showboating going on here. Why not allow these things to work themselves out naturally in story. So much talk of summons to... meh, not interesting yet.

Ahh cmon vince, its the OOC forum. Why dont you app for a summon? Your certainly skilled enough to use one.

That is a good point Gregar, I am considering applying for a bloodline or clan, though were is the list of summons kept?
But keep in mind, my goal with this character is not to make him powerful, but smart, well trained, and a good asset. Capable of beating stronger shinobi by outsmarting them.
And hey, a split in the village makes sense considering its past. More often their wars are inner. Not very much history with them being involved in outside wars according to the series.

Kurg, I got nothing against fordon, Especially since I'm gonna be your apprentice apparently. But the kurg clan...........yea, I got a problem with them
Vincent, go to the main forum, and at the very bottom you will see the land of the summonings subforum, thats where all the summoning things are kept. And if you just want to be a good asset and not too powerful, Try the bird summoning. They're more for battle support and espionage than main combat

Argh! I found a clan that depicts my character perfectly but I didn't pick the right ninja type. I'm playing him almost exactly to the description of how the members are, and it all sounded like, "Wow, this is it! This is perfect for this character!" then I read one of the requirements.
dammit.... off to read about summons.

what clan is it? and you can actually have two shinobi types, so at this point I would have no real problem with you picking a second one

well, again the generosity and compliments towards my rp skill is very appreciated.
I am looking at the Ushio Clan. As for summons, to be honest I'm debating between the wolf or going for the water dragon. Wolves are my favorite animal and the summon seems like it could suit my character. The idea of a dragon though is tempting, and it acts as an extension and secondary character rather then a part of a character.
Then we have these high demands that go into them, I like the challenge. So, yes, I really want Ushio clan, and the summon... hmm... what do you guys think I should go for?

If you want to be part of the Ushio clan then go for it, I'm sure Luo will be happy, as he is the head of the clan. Actually come to think of it, you two seem to have fairly similar rp styles.
Also you should go with the wolf summon because then you and Kai will have even more reason to get to know each other blaugh you'll just have to wait till after Kai learns to summon the wolves, as I made the summons and therefore am the original summoner, but since you can't summon till chuunin anyway it shouldn't be a huge problem

uhhhhhh, I don't really know, how strong are the dragons in relation to the regular summons? Do you think they should be jounin level summons? You are in charge of that stuff after all.
btw I just posted the first half of the mission, and I think I made it fairly epic in terms of it being a very "naruto" moment
