he's Already in the Hole. Whoever you are, he shot ya. wink And well, bounty hunters, adventurers, or The Law, none of them take kindly to those that shoot them.
Exception being one of my "Villians" who killed the de facto leader of the Good Guy group. And rather than finishing me off they healed me after the Epic Battle... and let their Boss remain dead.

I was reading the last post on the first page of this thread and I agree. To paraphrase what that Sav guy said. The plot-line that the admins gave the site turned people off of how we ourselves were running the forums back in the days of old. Just now I was searching the guild section and I found a thread that said Gaian Military something or other. I checked it. it was a resistance thread for the aliens. ~sighs~ The creation of the GGN was a good way to try and pluke ourselves from the immense world that gaia has become and set up our own little mini old gaia, but since that took us out of the mainstream it ultimately meant no interaction with threads as it used to be... and that was the nail in the coffin so ta speak. SO. What I recommend is to disband the GGN. Or just make this entire section a type of headquarters for the top brass. But as for the actual role-playing threads, they should be moved out to the normal threads where they can be seen by all, and expand with new members. I really do truly miss the days of old.. For shits-sake where the ******** else are you going to hear of a break-dancing Gundam. (happened whenever the GG[Guild of Gundams] reached it's first 100 page mark.)Sighs.. I am willing to re-create the mech-guild portion... one last time. But it will be outside these walls. I need cooperation for a new GA to be built outside these walls as well. If anyone is with me Just send me a PM.

Petitioning seems like a bit much. Not really my style either.
Rather suggest a small, practical approach. Say, use this forum as a Reference Point and planning ground. Go out an actually do your RPing in the Forums. Barton Town most likely. Perhaps get some affliated threads there, friends who don't mind linking up. Small steps. Not exactly what you want... but it'd be a good place to start.

I duno indrid, every time you or hikaru form a mecha guild it sorta... goes dead fairly fast. I admit the first one i joined with you guys stayed together fairly well and for a nice time and had some fun events. but everytime the guild disbanded/ reformed it got shorter and shorter. I'm not sure if the last guild hikaru began even lasted a month and he had help frommei who disapeared half way thrue.
truthfully as i see it if you start a guild you must be relatively active and this in turn will most likely inspire the otehr RPers to be active as well.
and personaly I got tired of the stupid assasins who did an auto kill everyone in the base attack by crawling threw the ventalation ducts which were rather small and filled with a unique web of razor wire every some distance and poping out behind evey person and sliceing there throats. mad

Actually it's more like what I suggested to Indrid. Use your GGN guild as a Staging Point, organization place, databank, etc, then RP out Thar.

Monday night if there isn't a post it'll move on. Those who have craved open battle, dogfights, etc are going to want in there.
Those that want more Face - Face confrontation should probably wait for the second front to be opened... ninja
