After some time, Lorika eventually same to the door and opened it. Now wearing her full robes, she looked a little less ill. She felt a little better, too.

"Alright... Coline, can you take us to the boy?"

...and you will be lonesome.

Coline lurched forward immediately as the Priestess released her hold on her shoulder, concerned that she might lose her balance again. She felt bad having to ask the Priestess for help after seeing her in such a weakened state. Of course she had no idea, but still... "I'll be right outside, then." she answered, giving her a curt bow before following the Professor out of the room.

The recruit cast a few casual glances over to the Professor. She'd never stood this close to the Professor before, so she couldn't help but feel a little nervous. She'd heard a great deal about him, being the youngest wizard to claim mastery over a Path, and his skillful use of magic. She never had the privilege to see him in action, but if he were to aid in the rescue mission, then it's a privilege she'd soon be able to acquire.

Her attention was soon directed to the strange man thrown out not so long ago, still sprawled inelegantly across the floor. He passed by her in the hall, she remembered, but she had to wonder what business he had in the Priestess' room. But before she could ponder more on the matter the door opened and a fully robed Priestess stepped out.

"Yes, of course. I will do everything in my power to assist you." she answered, giving her a curt bow. Coline's expression shifted slightly out of concern. "Would... you like me to carry you? It's a fairly long distance away." she sported an embarrassed grin, "It's okay, I'm stronger than I look. I don't mind, really!"

Having busily glanced around for the strange, lovestruck man, Lorika focused her gaze back on Coline, who was speaking to her.

She didn't reply at first, After several moments of indecision, during which the Priestess tried a shaky walk several metres up the hall, she conceded defeat.

"...Maybe that would be best, Coline," she sighed.

She gestured to the girl, and held out her arms to wrap them around her neck.

...and you will be lonesome.

Panda's gaze lazily shifted from the man he threw out before to the new recruit Coline. He had never done something like this before, help out other people. It began to make him feel uneasy. When Lorika emerged from her room he let his thoughts die down. As she stumbled out, then leaned on Coline, he couldn't help but blurt out what he did.

"It would probably be quicker If I carried her, I could increase my strength enough so that we could run. That is, if that is alright."

Feeling a sense of relief that the Priestess had taken her up on her offer, Coline promptly snatched the trident from her back and lowered herself--not that she had to by a lot, small thing that she was--and allowed for the Priestess to latch onto her. Just as she was about to hoist her up, however, the sound of the Professor's voice caused for her to stop.

It was a very good suggestion. They needed to reach Bapp as soon as they could and, as much as she trusted her own strength, no doubt a power boost conjured by the Professor would prove to be much more effective. "Of course, sir." she answered, setting the Priestess back down, carefully guiding her towards him.

Setting the trident upon her back with a small click the recruit turned heel and climbed up the stairs towards the Temple doors. She pushed them open with one swift movement, peering back over her shoulder to see if the Professor had already gone about his preparations. It seemed like he did.

Coline allowed for a few moments to pass before breaking into a sprint back towards the cave buried in a sea of trees. Once she'd started running she had no intention to stop, at least up until they reached the more heavily vegetated areas of the forest, which called for more careful maneuvering.

Lorika squeaked as the white-haired man hefted her up into his arms. She hadn't expected him to be quite so strong. As he picked her up, though, she felt the muscles in his arms seem to grow and bulge. Of course... he could transform himself.

A strange thought suddenly hit her, and she looked up at him. Was this even what he really looked like...? Did he change his appearance often? She was distracted, however, as they suddenly sped off out of the Temple and across the open ground. The jolt of movement was shocking at first, but she soon became accustomed to the rhythm, resting her head gently against the Professor's chest. It was nice. Comfortable and safe. She wasn't afraid of being dropped. In fact, if it were not for sudden changes in rhythm as they entered different areas of land and soil, she might have been able to drift back off to sleep again as her body was asking her to do...

She eventually compromised by closing her eyes and snuffling into his shoulder, loosely curled fingers absently stroking the hair on the back of his neck. In this position she was almost able to doze. She was too tired to consider anything of the situation, other than how comfortable it felt to be cradled and rocked. And so, the after effects of the sleeping potion continued to grip her...

Prince Timothy Harrison

Hearing the news of the fallen boy concerned the Prince. He followed the others closely, swords out in case his assistance were to be needed. "When do I get to to meet the Overseer?" he asked as he ran with the other three.

Panda was quickly following Coline as she ran, He transfigured his legs to be able to run faster as well, It didn't take long for him to be on her heels. However, as lorika started to move around, his skin began to shiver and he started losing focus. He had never carried someone before and it wasn't hard, but gave him an uneasy feeling. Her hand on the back of his neck almost made him fall over. Quickly focusing on Coline made him resume his running smoother.

"how close are we? Maybe I should have flown us" was all that wasaudible from his lips

"Not that far off now, Professor." Coline peered back over her shoulder upon hearing another set of feet stampeding behind her. She recognized the doer as that strange man from before, although she had to wonder why he was following them. If he was there to help then she supposed there was nothing wrong with him tagging along, in case they find themselves in need of more manpower. If he was there for a completely different reason, well... she'd deal with him after Bapp has been successfully retrieved. The rescue mission took priority.

She slowed her pace, leading the group through the thick plant life and towards the cave entrance curtained with leaves. Setting them aside she turned to the group briefly, a silent gesture for them to follow, and stepped inside. She fished a flashlight out from the pouch on her side and lit the way. "Please watch your step," she warned, making hasty yet careful steps further into the cave. "The other end connects to the sea so you'll find the ground to be quite slippery."

Coline stopped in front of yet another tunnel. This was where she last saw him. Looking back, she could remember him pressing his ear against wall--now entrance--as if searching for something. But alas, his curiosity led to his own demise. She could only hope that he was safe... and she'd soon find out.

Turning to the Professor, she noted the Priestess resting peacefully in his arms, and felt a twinge of worry. She appeared to be gravely exhausted. "I... think we should allow the Priestess to rest out here for the time being. This path is considerably dark and small..."
