Lucas stopped his kisses for a moment and leaned in toward her ear. "Yes," he whispered, before he began kissing her neck.

As Lucas was focused away from her face, Alex smiled. A rather....sinister little smile. Very contrasting to the intimate moment they were about to share. She glanced down at him with bright black eyes...much darker than they should be.
Good....
The smile carefully straightened itself back out and she closed her eyes. With that, her hands slid down his sides until they found the edges of his jeans.
//Aaaaannndd....I'm gonna say we can continue with the other half of the house until this is done. XP //

// lol. Alright. //
Misty turned and looked back towards Sandra. "I need to find Batman and the other heroes that usually protect Gotham." she replied.
"Batman?" Alex said as she walked into the room. From the hallway that led out of the kitchen. "You're looking for Batman?"

Sandra frowned, and then nodded to Alex. "Batman... I am afraid I don't know who that is." she said.
"I do," said Billy. "We've worked together before."

"I have too. A few times." Alex added. In fact, she knew how to get to his little hide out. But she wasn't about to disclose that. Secrets were secrets after all.
Misty of course knew of him, and how to get to his base as well. She'd worked with Batgirl before, and had been taken along to go back to their base of operations. That was...after the whole incident with the Joker nearly killing Batgirl. Twice. Come to think of it....she hadn't seen or heard of anything of Batgirl in ages. But then again, she hadn't been in Gotham in....a while.

The Phantom Stranger spoke up, now that the discussion had turned to something that really WAS his business. "If Batman can be located, Sapphire Spider would be free for a while to... tend to her personal matters." Of course he knew Batman's true identity, just as he knew that Star Sapphire's name was Carol. He just doubted that Bruce Wayne would've been very approving of spreading that information around. "If not, she will be needed for an upcoming calamity. As my powers are, like Sandra's, based in magic, there's little I can do." The Phantom Stranger couldn't rely on Carol, as he knew her priority was to her future husband and daughter, and Sandra would be, in the end, just as ineffective as he himself was.

Sandra looked to the Phantom Stranger and quirked an eyebrow. "You heard me, did you?" she asked. "And who exactly are you?"

Stepping out from behind Sapphire Spider, he said, "You may call me the Phantom Stranger. I have need of Sappire Spider's abilities. If Batman cannot be found, nor any of Gotham's usual protectors, I will need her help." The Stranger had nothing but complete authority in his voice. It was a huge contrast to how he had spoken to Misty earlier.

Sandra kept her eyebrow up. "Sandra Roberts, Agent of the Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate-- or, SHIELD. I got back from a mission in Latveria not long ago, and have been helping my son ever since," she said. "There is no need to take such a tone with me, Stranger. I am a friend."

"I know you are," the Stranger replied, "Otherwise you wouldn't have been invited into the Sanctum."

"It's something about the house not letting in people that shouldn't be here." Alex said. "There was a demon in here before, and the house itself gave it a minute or two to leave or it would kick it out."

"I see," Sandra said. She had not exactly been privvy to many details about the Sanctum from Colonel Fury. And then she remembered: She was supposed to meet Fury today!
"s**t!" she muttered. "Stranger, do you know of a Colonel Nicholas Fury? He's the Director of SHIELD. I need to meet him for a debriefing."

"I know of him, but have never made his acquaintance," the Stranger said, then added as an afterthought, more thinking to himself out loud than actually saying it to anyone, "The house was probably in a very charitable mood today, then. It doesn't normally allow that sort of thing..."
