Cortesa (( I glare at eclairs now, thanks to Ouran. xD )) "... Most have come back. Tibarn hasn't, though..." Nils stated. (HaruhixTamaki must get plenty of fans! And Amelia would fit the bill of Haruhi, at least the clueless part.) Feeling strangely rejuvenated, Rhys sat up, hearing conversation in the building.

So what will we do now? The morphs won't hesitate to strike us down if they see us, and I am sure Tacitus will want me dead for sure.

Amelia stepped away from Lyre briefly enough to sit down on the foot of Rhys' bed again. Once again, it was good to sit. Sleep sounded nice, but she wanted to finish speaking to Lyre. "Do you think Tibarn is okay...?"
Rhys sitting up made Amelia turn around. "Oh, you're awake again!" she said, smiling. "That's good... you must really be tired. You keep drifting in and out on us."

"W-what?!" Abel exclaimed, letting go of the sheets. "I...I've got to-- graah...." Abel tried to get up, but was stopped by a cringing pain in his gut. "It's funny... you're so focused on the battle, that you don't even realize how wounded you really are..." Abel held his side.

She nodded. "I felt bad for running away early, but I wouldn't have lasted long- I ran to Rhys when he said he had a plan and Grishelda was casting fire spells, I would've been toast, excusing the pun." She shuddered momentarily. Fire+Gallians=Critical hit.
"At least there's a good percentage of us that are okay... or at least recovering..." She spared a glance at Rhys, but looked back to Amelia.
"I've been meaning to try to find Janaff. I have no idea."

... ... ... Nevermind then. I'll do things myself. he said with a heavy sigh. The thief wasn't completely dissapointed though, as it appeared he had reached a level of stealth he never once imagined to be possible.
...That, or he was just undetectable to everyone in the resistance. Either way, he was going to stick with his decision to go and search for Soren alone. Before leaving, he wrote a note and left it in a place where he was absolutely sure it would be noticed: On Rhys' face.

Amelia nodded once. "Right..." she murmured. NoMetal's question made her lapse into thought.
"As far as I know, our plan is to recuperate and regroup. Those of us who are in good enough condition are taking guard watches to make sure nothing bad happens."

Abel had completely forgotten about feeling awkward without the sheets. "I... I can't just leave him there... I have to protect him...! I made a vow..." Abel cringed from his wound, and leaned over on Alihi a little. "I guess you're right... At least... I'm not alone..."

Amelia leaned over, plucking off the note. "A note?" Amelia cleared her throat and read it aloud, verbatim.
"...'If I don't return,'" she said as she reached the end, holding onto the paper tightly, "'I may have been captured... or killed... by the morphs. I'll be able to take care of myself, though. Matthew.'"
Amelia paused, then added his subscript, "'Also, you're out of milk.'"
Amelia put the note on his sheets. "So, Matthew went to find Soren and warn him. He's a thief, his forte is hiding and sneaking, so I'm sure he'll be all right. He always is."

I'm heading out to find and warn Soren that his life is in danger. I was also advised to guard Sue, but thieves don't really do the "protect" thing too well. Not as well as a group of knights, magi and wyvern lords anyway. So I'm trusting that you'll be able to keep things controlled as far as that task goes.
If I don't return, I may have been captured or killed by the morphs. I'll be able to take care of myself though.

Like a statue, Saturnos remained in a desolate corner of the room, merely observing Nino. Since Nino didn't leave for anywhere and wasn't presented with danger, Saturnos had yet to move for a good 2 hours, and it seemed as people failed to notice him there anymore. Even with the arrival of Pent and Louise, and the random sparring that went on, and even the healing of Nino, Saturnos did not feel inclined to move or speak. Even now, Saturnos is like a statue, still like a shadow.
