Babs glanced at her PDA and saw that she had a message from RC, and turned her attention back to X23, "One, we're all not used to working with each other yet. And two, we've all been going from one fight to another and another before you showed up on our doorstep."
Oracle shrugged, "It'll work out. I'm counting on you, okay?"

X23 had the urge to retort, wanting to say that she was used to such conditions and that if the others couldn't keep up then they weren't worth coordinating, but she held her tongue. And at the same time, she felt hurt by her adoptive mother's words: "... Before you showed up on our doorstep..." Like she was nothing more than extra baggage that Babs and the others had to deal with. Quite the contrary, X23 thought, as she had to deal with them.
"So what, I'm just extra baggage, is that it? Just one more bad thing you have to deal with?" she asked venomously. "Fine, whatever. Whatever you say... Mother," she said, walking away.

"HEY!!! That's not it, and it's NOT just you against the world, young lady! It sucks sometimes, but we have to deal with it!" Babs' temper flared as she wheeled after X23, "And I don't consider you luggage, and... will you stop for a minute!?"

At that moment, X23 snapped. She wheeled around, the claws of one hand unsheathed, and held them mere inches from Babs' eyes. Her face was contorted with absolute fury.
"SHUT YOUR MOUTH! You know nothing about me, got it?! Don't try to act like it's easy to live a life like mine! And if you call me 'young lady' again, I will gut you! I AM NOT A CHILD!!" she snarled, before turning away and walking right out of the mansion, fully intending on leaving.

"So you're just going to walk away!?!? Is THAT how you handle things!?!? Storming off like a child!?!?! I'm not calling you a child, but you sure are acting like one!!!! I was put IN this damn wheelchair by an insane clown whose killed more people than cancer, and someone told me something when I got angry at the world!!!" Oracle kept wheeling after X23 knowing that she could hera her, "The word is 'COPE'!!! The world may suck, but you can't just walk away from it!!!!"

"You know how I cope?! I kill people! Shut up, or you're next!" X23 threatened, not even bothering to turn around. She didn't care anymore-- the world, and everyone in it, could go to Hell for all she cared. And that included her adoptive mother.
Nobody understood her, she felt like. Nobody could sympathize with her... and that honestly hurt her more than anything else, but she couldn't let it show... she couldn't...
And then as she left the grounds, she broke down sobbing once more, falling to her knees and curling up into a ball, and just crying her heart out. She hadn't meant the things she had said, or the things she had thought... had she? She didn't know. She didn't know anything anymore.

Oracle pushed the outer door, still huffing and still fuming. As soon as she emerged outside, Babs could hear X23 sobbing. Breathing a sigh, Barbara wheeled herself toward the clawed mutant, "I'm sorry I yelled at you. I've been going squirrely all day."

"I... I'm so sorry," X23 sobbed, her eyes shut tight. "I-I didn't mean it... Any of it, Mother! I-I'm just... s-so scared and... I-I don't know what to do! I'm a m-monster, a k-killer... It's all I am! I w-want to be normal b-but I can't!" she said, before coughing and sobbing again. "I'm a-alone here... No-one u-understands me, no-one has e-ever cared..."

 They had developed another, a successful clone from the collected DNA of Logan, and his son Daken. This person was Caesar, and he was right outside. He had stolen a motorcycle and used it to get there. He wasn't at the Institute to Learn, he was searching for the original Logan. He stopped outside, and sniffed the air. He walked forward, heading to the Institute. X23 could probably sense he was there, he smelled like Logan.OOC: Introducing a successful clone (well almost because he developed heart problems and is at risk of strong cardiac arrest), Caesar! He is wearing an X-Force Costume of Wolverine except the black portion of the suit that is over the eyes extends over the mouth. He can smell just fine with it on, just that it'd look cooler.

X23 smelled Caesar's scent, which smelled exactly like Wolverine's, and she stopped crying as a hot-blooded rage overtook her. She stood up, her face streaked with tears, and stared down "Logan", not realizing he was a clone of her genetic template's alternate.
She took a defensive stance in front of Babs, all claws extended, and she growled ferociously toward Caesar. The message was clear: Stay away. She was fully intent on protecting her adoptive mother... and making up for the hurtful things she had said to her.

Caesar wasn't the type to talk that much and he easily understood her gesture. He continued to walk forward, he didn't even extend his claws. He had more important things to do then rough up some stranger. Caesar didn't even turn his head, thinking "Like I give a fùck." Honestly, he wasn't interested in a fight.

X23 saw that he apparently didn't heed her warning to stay away from her and Babs, because he kept walking forward. He didn't turn around, didn't even stop in his tracks. She tensed up and was about to attack, when another scent, almost totally identical to Caesar's, reached X23's nose.
A young man in a gray hoodie and blue jeans walked up to the Institute, behind Caesar. He didn't see X23 or Babs, and immediately thought... But no...
"Dad?!" Jimmy Hudson asked Caesar incredulously. This couldn't be right. His father was dead...

Caesar pulled off his Mask. He looked allot like Logan, except he had normal short black hair with yellow eyes. "I am Caesar," was how he answered. He slipped the Mask back on and continued walking. He stopped in front of X23, "Where is Logan?"

"Dead I hope! b*****d fed me bull about living a normal life, and then he kicked me in the head and stabbed me in the gut!" X23 spat. Then she looked past him, and saw Jimmy. He didn't look much older than she did, actually. He had Logan's face, but had blue eyes and blond hair. He also looked really confused.
"Hey, uh... Sorry to interrupt, but, what's going on here?" Jimmy asked, moving beside Caesar. X23 suddenly leaped at him, ready to attack, and Jimmy instinctively unsheathed one of his sets of bone-claws and brought them up to block, trapping X23's claws between them. The bone-claws Jimmy had seemed to become coated with an odd, metallic substance. Possibly Adamantium, X23 realized, as she strained to break the lock.
"Hey, whoa! Calm down!" Jimmy said, his eyes wide with shock. This girl had claws like him... How many other people were like him?!

Caesar unsheathed his claws and separated the two's claws. Surprisingly, he had hugged X23. The facial expression from Caesar was unspecified because of the mask. His genetic memories saw her as a Daughter, closely if not directly.
