"Thank you, sensei." He smiles softly and spreads the book open in front of him carefully, picking up a pen and beginning work.

Smiling, Muraki returned to the desk, looking over the files once more.
However, there soon came a knock on the wall next to the sliding door into the garden.
Puzzled, the doctor stood and made his way there, opening it only to find...
Quickly, Muraki was out in the garden, closing the door behind him. "I told you never to come here again." he whispered dangerously.
Blood red eyes looked up at him pleadingly. "Sensei... it's been so long... I..."
"Must I do everything for you?!"
He kept his voice quiet but fierce.
Inoue recoiled as if struck. "Gomen nasai, sensei... I didn't know what else to do..."

When they arrived at the hospital, Muraki sighed softly.
"Oriya-kun... I have a bad feeling..." he whispered, clutching his friend's hand in his own. "Something... something's not right..."

Oriya pauses, one hand on his arm. "What's wrong, Muraki-san?" He doesn't doubt him, he's simply concerned.

The teen shook his head. "Wakaranai..." he whispered, stalling in front of the hospital. "I just..."
Muraki's eye closed, the young man trying to gather the courage he needed.
Medicine was his chosen field, after all... he wanted to pursue it...
He couldn't be afraid...

"I want to see again..." Muraki whispered, suddenly looking to Oriya. "Living my life with a bandage over my eye... it doesn't sound very promising, ne?" he asked, trying to put some strength into his own voice.
But something within the teen's soul was screaming for him to stay away...

"But still, if you're not ready... that's okay." Concerned, reaching to brush his hair back. "We could bring a doctor to the resturant..?"

Muraki shook his head, "He won't be able to perform the surgery, Oriya-kun..." the teen whispered, tilting his head into the touch. "I... I have to..."
Even though he said it, he just couldn't bring himself to push forward.

A resounding smack was heard, followed by a thud.
In truth, Muraki had slapped Inoue so hard, the young man was bleeding from a split lip. Inoue lay on the porch, looking up at Muraki in surprise, a hand on his bruised cheek.
"You disobeyed me." the doctor spoke coldly. "After everything I've done for you... I told you to stay away from here and you came anyway! Baka!"

"Muraki-san, it's okay.. we can wait." Just pulls him into a light hug, worried.

Oriya looks up, startled. Watching the two of them... he has a clear view from his window.

Carefully, Muraki wrapped his arms around Oriya, clinging to his friend. "I... I don't understand what's wrong with me..." he whispered, closing his eye and taking comfort in Oriya's embrace. "I know what I have to do... demo..."

"Gomen nasai, Muraki-sama..." Inoue whispered, fear in his red eyes as he looked up at the man.
He looked like a frightened child...
But Muraki shook his head, grabbing Inoue by his cloak and hauling the young man up. "I don't think you understand me, Inoue-kun." the doctor spoke coldly once more, his voice icy enough to chill the bone. "I will give you instructions when I see fit. Until that time... you are to stay away from me. Do you understand?"
Inoue said nothing, staring into Muraki's grey gaze, eyes wide in fear.
"Do you understand?" Muraki asked again.
The young man seemed to twitch. "Demo... Muraki-sama... Boku wa..."
"DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!"
Throwing Inoue to the porch, Muraki was determined to beat the lesson into him if he had to.
Inoue looked up once more, tears in his eyes. "I just want to stay with you..." he whispered brokenly.

"You have instincts for a reason." Hugging him tightly, trying to be reassuring. "There's no shame in listening to them.

Oriya slips out of bed, concerned. Unsteadily, he makes his way to the window, glass between him and them. Just watching, concerned, but he knows he can't go out there... not sure who's more dangerous to him now though, Inoue or Muraki.

"And if I do?" Muraki whispered softly. "What if it's just fear, Oriya-kun?"

Without any warning, Muraki's foot came into sharp contact with the side of Inoue's head.
The young man slammed into the house's wall, collapsing onto the porch once more in a daze.
Muraki grabbed his cloak again, forcing Inoue to look at him. "You don't deserve to be by my side you pathetic fool." he said harshly, grey eyes gleaming maliciously. "I made you, Inoue... I can unmake you just as easily. You're here for only one purpose in this wretched world... to finish my vessel."
Muraki paused, his good eye twitching slightly, but there was no other sign of any struggle.
"You're here to shut up and do exactly as I say, when I say, no questions asked. Do. You. Understand?"
Inoue, tears in his eyes, nodded slightly. "Ha... Hai... Muraki-sama..." the young man whispered.
Releasing him, Muraki stood. "Forget it again, Inoue... and I'll personally rip you limb from limb. This place is off limits to you. Forever."
Nodding and standing on his own, Inoue used the side of the wall for support. He bowed to Muraki, barely keeping himself from toppling over.
"As you wish, Muraki-sama..." the young man replied, his voice devoid of any emotion, before disappearing into the shadows of the garden.

"Then maybe it'll subside with time, Muraki-san." Gently smoothing the other's hair.

Oriya flinches, gasping. Hand pressed against the glass, watching in horror. Again seeing that madness in Muraki, wanting to scream at him to stop, but his throat just feels completely closed up.

"Maybe..." the teen whispered before pulling back. "I... We should go, Oriya-kun. I don't want to keep the doctor waiting."
He was going to swallow his fear...

After a while of watching the shadows, Muraki turned and opened the door, heading back inside.
He had no idea that Oriya had seen everything.
In fact, the man himself hardly knew what had happened.
