"Those with eyes aren't the only ones who can see. I don't know what the hell the rest of what you said was, but if you want to fight. Then come at me." He said, tossing aside his walking stick. He didn't go into any special fighting pose. He just stood there with his hands at his sides waiting for the man.

A sigh... and then Lazenca walked forward. He didn't get into a pose either, but his right hand was held loosely up by his face. Just out of range of hitting without leaning, he threw a dummy cross at Trio's nose.

Which was met with, Halfuo's teeth. For the blind elf leaned forward some and caught the cross in his mouth with his teeth holding on tight, despite it being a bit sideways. Talk about a knuckle sandwich. However, that was all he did. Halfuo knew to be a shitty attack, but he wanted to know the man's next action.

The guy probably expected a full-on hit to the nose or something, which is what prompted him to try and bite Lazenca's hand. Problem was... Lazenca never expected to hit, and he was already drawing back the dummy punch when Halfuo went to bite. Retracting and moving forward just a bit more, Laz moved around the miss and did another punch to the nose- except this was was meant to hit.

((Okay, here we go.)) Like Halfuo expected, since when is the first attack ever serious? Halfuo tilted his head some to Laz's left. The punch would begin its passover Halfuo's left shoulder while the blind man did a very quick punch strike toward a specific point on Laz's attacking arm using his right hand. More specifically attacking the radius bone. Result in reallife. 11. Radius bone: A strike to this area can result in numbness to the hand or broken bones. Intended result Numbness of the hand for several seconds during the fight.

A backhand to the arm was more like a slapdown, basic "don't touch me" defense. To get a real punch in that would do any sort of damage, Halfuo was going to have to do a bit of arm raising and/or twisting-- there wasn't going to be time for any of that. Lazenca's right hand was up and already prepared for the second attack which was immediately delivered when John's head moved. It took a little twisting to the left, but that punch was straight on.

((It wasn't a backhand. Your punch was coming from Halfuo's left side. So he used his right hand. Straight on quick punch strike toward a specific spot on your hand. Granted there was a bit of bending/twisting in the quick motion to get his hand up there in time. He wasn't going for damage. He was going for disablement. Will that change your post any?))

[the "real punch" thing was added in case it wasn't a backhand, as i didn't want to argue the specifics of what kinda punch it was.. just rolling with it. and i'm not editing because my post is an interrupt- before you get your hand up and twist enough to hit it with your right hand (try that...), my hand, which is already up and in line, shoots out and hits.]

((If you get your body ready for a quick action, you can do the action with pretty damn good speed. Like just under a half a second, maybe. However, requires precision and can have one heck of a recovery time. Anyways.)) Now for probably least expectant thing to probably happen, Halfuo took the hit. Nose hurting, but not broken. His face moving back with the attacking fist as a result from the force, while his own strike was prepping. However, just as Laz changed the direction on his attack to accomodate for the head movement, Halfuo adjusted the direction of his pressure point strike to accomodate for the hit upon his face. Same hand, same strike attempt. Only this time with Laz's arm still pushing on Halfuo's face and laz a bit distracted.

[ok.]
Lazenca's aim was speed- and he had very obviously stunned Halfuo, and didn't intend on making this fight last longer than it had to. Two jabs were thrown, and Laz went for a third. And fourth, and fifth, and the straight blast flurry would come at a maddening pace until his opponent's body rocked enough to hit the ground. Lazenca would take a step forward any time he'd need to, to keep the punches rolling.
Again, since Halfuo was having to try and twist his body to get the punch off, he was trying to throw a quick hook or something similar. Lazenca was only throwing clean jabs and crosses, which were quite faster than hooks- especially since the blind man's hands had foolishly been down, when Lazenca's was up and ready for this ever since they finished talking.

Since the flurry would require some withdraw of the hand(s), Halfuo's hand wasn't in time for the first 2, however it came up just barely in time for the third strike to hit his arm instead of his head. He adjusted his arm to move a little bit in direction accordance to block the next couple of punches.
Halfuo didn't have to twist his entire body to get the arm up. Just do the appropriate movement of his shoulder and arm. It also didn't have to take much movement since Lazenca was aiming the 5 total punches to the same spot. Granted Halfuo was on the defensive, he was beginning to read Laz's movements like a book.

Just because Lazenca wasn't changing the page. But it was about time to do that now.
this guy seemed to have some kinda resiliance, not to be... y'know... rocked back after two hits, but this was the fighter's way. Any other movement that wasn't falling back was duly noted as defense, and Halfuo's finally getting his hand around- something he'd been telegraphing two hits ago- was no suprise. When the guy's arm swung, Lazenca retracted... the right arm moved back up by his face, and the left arm kinda stayed low... and let him have his swing, and a miss.
Laz hadn't even begun to fight... he was trying to see how much this blind man could take. He'd still take all openings, but knew that just as he was, Halfuo was learning. It was getting nigh time to bring this fight to a close, and they'd just started.

And such was the almost lucky block. All it took was dodging one and taking another for Halfuo to learn much about this man. Such as his attack speed, power, reaction time, some body movements. Just from 2 hit attempts. He took on a stand similar to Laz's only his feet were side by side as well as his hands if they were on the same elevation. What was different for Halfuo was that Halfuo had decided to turn around. His back was now facing Laz. Talk about many an opportunity for Laz to take. He had plenty of targets to hit with his attacks.

So with the slightest sound of bare feet sliding against the ground and a quick exhalation, the likes of what would come from a speedy attack, Lazenca shot his foot up, thigh level at waist height.
