Escarelia chuckled. "My brother used to do things like that, but on purpose. When we were very little. After a while, it didn't annoy me anymore..." Escarelia pushed back a few leaves and immediantly jumped back. "But I can't stand spiders!" She said. Sure enough, under the leaves was a spiderweb, complete with spider.

That sounds mean! Atari huffed at hearing that Esca's brother would do that just to cause havoc. He peered into the bush where Esca had been looking, not really bothered by little creepy crawlies. Spiders are good though - They won't hurt you! he tried to insist, watching as his breath made the web dance, causing the spider to go into hiding.

"Spiders still scare me...." Eecarelia said, feeling a bit silly and blushing slightly. "I don't know why, they just do..." She tip-toed back over, looking at the spider web. "I don't think I'm going to push back any more leaves..."

Maybe bugcatching isn't the best way to keep us busy? Atari asked, offering a smile to Esca as he let the leaves back into place. We could try for different bugs - Like full grown butterflies and dragonflies, and flittery things like those?

"Maybe so! Bigger bugs might be easier to catch too." She smiled. "Dragonflies are really pretty."

Yes! And they sound funny when they fly past you...Like little jets. A purr created of pure pleasure eminated from his throat and he lead Esca back out of the trees, to where the grass still grew before it faded into the sand from the lake. Maybe if we wander around here, we'll find some things! he chimed, his tail swaying in delight of their latest decision.

"Mmm hmm!" Escarelia said with a nod and a smile, looking around. "I like yellow ones and blue ones the best...Though, the green ones are pretty too!" She looked back over at Atari. "What about you?"

I like the big dragonflies, Atari started, his eyes glitterying in thought against the evening light. The kind that look black until they fly by, and when you glance they're rainbow colored...Like oil spots on the road. He'd only ever been outside the house once, and that was one of his favorite little memories - Seeing his reflection, rainbowed, in an oil spot on the driveway after his momma and one of her boyfriends had washed a car.

Escarelia nodded in agreement. "The bigs ones are so pretty, and the damselflies are cute. Though, I guess they're both cute..." She thought a moment, before crouching, looking out towards the water and over the sand for the bugs.

I think they're called Mayflies, but...those look neat on a white wall...like a little cross! Atari purred, tempted to slip into his animal form for this bug hunt but refraining, as he didn't wish to scare Esca away.

"I suppose it all depends on where you grew up, huh?" Escarelia smiled, looking over at him before looking over the sand, still holding the cetterpillar on her hand.

Yes, I suppose so! Atari agreed, pausing to look to Esca. Want me to send the cap...ca...'pilar to our bug spot? he asked, a bright smile on his face as he looked from her to her hand.

Escarelia nodded, then blinked, looking down at the bug in her hand. "Will it be safe?"

Of course it'll be safe! Atari purred, a laugh to his tone. It'll be the safest bug place ever! No birds can eat them, no bigger bugs can eat them, and it'll be in a place where my siblings won't find them! he assured her, his tone turning from amused to eager.

"If you're sure..okay!" Escarelia smiled. "It'll probably be safer there than in my hand, huh?"
