For the fires of passion! A Heroine's preparation! Formula:1d20+Chakra DC:10 Train:10/10 Roll:19+2=21(Black Jack wink )
He was deceiving you!" Kimiko explained her eyes wide and honest. "He's a lying manipulating monster!"
"I know." Kimiko looked at her friend surprised.
"Wha...what?"
Mariaye' was looking at the sun as the two walked home. "I know he was just acting like that...but..." she flushed putting her hands behind her back "I think...it's really cool." Kimiko looked completely blown away, her mind unable to comprehend what her friend had just said. "He's so..." she seemed to not fully understand her fascination herself "Bad." she giggled about something. "the way he manipulated me...that smirk of his when he thought no one was looking...he's so..." her eyes went starry "He's SO COOL!"
Kimiko stomped her foot, practically breathing fire "COOL!?! Evil isn't cool! It's the exact opposite of cool!"
"And what would you know about it any way!!" Mariaye' countered looking defensive. "You always fawn over those boring old heroes, villains are so much cooler!"
"Are not!"
"Are too!"
"Are not!"
"Are too!!!!"
"Villain worshiper!"
"Hero freak!"
"I never wanna see your face again traitor!"
"Fine then you goodie two shoes!"
"What does that even mean!?"
"I have no idea!" They both stuck their tongues out at one another and rushed in opposite directions. The two friends had bee broken up over such a little thing...
After that Kimiko and her former friend had been at odds constantly, Kimiko opened her eyes, her training finished for today at least. Mariaye' still fawned over Maboroshi to this day, even after dropping out of the academy. Kimiko would like to say that she blamed Maboroshi for separating them...but it wasn't true. Maboroshi was just doing what he always did, the jerk, it was her own inability to understand her friends point of view, and likewise her friends to do the same, that separated them. She sighed.
Heroes were still better though...

Raine ran through the streets his arms out like wings soaring him through the world. Through his home, overwhelmed with joy. the small boy toppled over laughing he looked up into the pinking sky, and breathe fresh cool air. His mowhawk falling back and arching toward the ground as he lay on the ground. Suddenly he realized his pet and quickly, set his back pack away. The grass brushed up against his ears and Raine felt like he could fall asleep right here. But wher was here? He had flown off and the small boy pursed his lips pulling back his chin and gazing at an upside down dojo. Of course the training ground. The 9-year-old rolled onto his tummy and looking up smiling. Perfect. Grabbing his pack the boy ran off toward the entrance and stepped into the light of the building, and open sparring floor in front of him. It was almost as cool as Tsuyosa-sensei's.

Xenon entered the dojo of the training grounds in his usual mood. Hands in his pockets he'd come scouting out a location to begin learning his Genjutsu, and it had struck him he'd never been to to this part of thr training ground before. Reading the map they had on display...wow, they even had a hot spring... who knew. His face ponderous he wandered around dully, checking what other facilities this place had to offer.
'Still, this place seems more suited for physical training. It's quiet enough in some parts, but there's too many distractions... I'll definitely have to come back here... but I don't think it will be for Genjutsu training...' he turned pushing up his glasses...

Raine set his pack down at the end of the room. This would be perfect for some more taijutsu training. He checked his back digging through the junk of travel and carefully moving the water bottle with his pet worm out of the way, to grab his new Aian Nakkurru. He placed the blades around his fingers, clenching a tight first around the knive-like knuckles. Through a few punches, Raine pretended to fight an imaginary foe, fling out his arms. He went to dodge and jumped back. Colliding with someone behind him. Raine turned around stunned, to see an odd looking boy. He had almost the same color hair though, well, before Raine had dyed his bright red. Either way, Rain lifted his hands, in apology. The guy looked like a real stiff and he didn't want to talk or anything.

Xenon was deep in thought and didn't see the impact coming until it had already hit him. He stumbled back a step but caught himself, his eyes turning somewhat lazily to the cause of the collision. He readjusted his glasses, the jossle having caused them to slide down his nose some. Xenon watched as he raised his hands in apparent apology. But this wasn't what caught his attention. This boy, for one so young, was wielding fist weapons he'd never seen before... his natural curiosity taking hold he spoke.
"That's alright, I should've watched where I was going." he gave a small smile that didn't reach his keen golden eyes behind the glasses. "I really should know better then to wander around in thought..." he pointed, not much for subtly today. "That's a rather interesting weapon you have there...what's it called? I'm Xenon Maboroshi by the way...you may call me Xen if you prefer."

Raine smiled back, not catching the older boys obvious coldness. "Oh, yeah. Sorry. I wasn't really paying attention either." Raine stepped back some more, holding his knifes down. When Xen mentioned them he welled with pride. "Oh there? These are Aian Nakkurru." he sliced the air with a punch, and the iron knuckles stopped before him. It was an oddly perfect and powerful punch for such a small child. "They are the weapon of the Tekkenseisai. That's me. Tekkenseisai Raine!" he smiled broadly, obvious loud and outspoken. A thought popped into his mind though. "You know, I've never fought anyone with them though. Wanna test them out?" Raine gestured towards the sparring area in the middle of the dojo, where few people were helping each other by hitting mats, it would be easy to get a match going.

Xenon brushed his memory. 'Tekkensesai... the reckless fist fighters if I recall... interesting.' he looked at the boy's vibrant eyes. 'An innocent... hmm, even more interesting...' he smiled, this time reaching his eyes. "Well, I suppose we could both benefit from a good spar." he walked out into the area the boy had indicated. "Besides I've never met one of the famous Tekkensesai before... it'll be an interesting experience to see how you measure up to the tales." he gave a slightly impish smirk. "Besides truth be told," his glasses flickered over with an almost comically creepy light. "I've been wanting to test out my new weapons as well..." he flicked his wrist and slid three long senbon in between his fingers... "
His creepy face switched to a calm one "Ready when you are Raine-san."

The Tekkenseisai smiled, not many people knew of the heroic linage that he had come from so that was impressive. The young boy filled with a joy so ecstatic it was like ecstasy, only a feeling that he got before a fight....
Stepping out, the people around noticed they were going for a match and stepped out to lean back on the walls, watching the two boys. His fists raising up to his chin as he got into a fighting position. The blades gleaming like fresh metal, while they had small kinks in them from shattering massive stone in Suna. Taking a deep breath, Raine opened his eyes to the battle, examine his opponents stance. Positioning himself to an opportunity. "Come on!" He flung forward, guessing that this guy was dexterous and could get away from him, Raine swerved around to his side throwing a right cross at Xen's cheek. Twisting, and pivoting his back foot. He had to reach high to get up so far, but he could reach if he tried. Raine wanted to go the extra mile, and flung down a hook at the older boys ribs.

Xenon felt the bladed gloves cut into him, and Xenon's eyes immediately became as ice, their golden sheen becoming almost hawk like. Xen was pleasant enough most of the time, his inner cynic and practical manner internal, but when he felt threatened his colder persona appeared. He skidded back unable to avoid the boy's strikes. 'He's fast...' He flicked his other wrist, both hands equipped with Senbon. His hits were devastating, he was unbelievably strong... he'd have to finish this quickly... With ruthless speed he flicked both his arms forward, releasing the senbon in both hands. He aimed as best he could toward the vitals on this human fortress of child, and let them fly...

Raine watched as the other boy fell back out of reach. He knew what was coming, The senbon! Raine tried to side step, but he felt the small pains, his knuckles whitened around his blades and the small boy smiled. Looked up to Xen, Raine almost burst into laughter, his muscle rippled beneath his skin they had hardened and the most of the senbon fell to the ground, Raine had to pull the other which were only stuck about an inch in his body. The people around stared in wonderment. "Tekkenseisai remember?" Fling the senbon away, Raine got back into battle mode, hopping forward instantly, his fist flying straight for Xen's stomach.

Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique) A high-speed movement technique. It is described as 'appearing with the wind and disappearing like the wind.' A very basic jutsu, it appears that most shinobi above Genin-rank know it. Using chakra to activate the body, the user is able to move from one point to another with extreme speeds. This super-fast movement is almost impossible to see with the naked eye. To a normal person, it would seem as if the user has teleported. The amount of Chakra used depends on the distance and elevation between the user and the destination. Cp cost: 1 per ft Damage: N/A Requirements: Dexterity 20+ Training days: 3 days. Special: When rolling initiation checks or racing, or anything that involves speed, add chk mod
15 feet -15 chakra 27chakra left
Dodge roll: 17+4(chkra mod) =21(Black Jack cool )
Xenon vanished and reappeared, his movement a blur to many of the spectators. His slash wounds from earlier causing him to grit his teeth, six more senbon appeared in his hands... but he smirked, a sort of pained amusement on his face. "Your pretty good... that almost got me there... it's clear that I'm no match for a Tekkensesai on his own turf... but then," he slipped the Senbon back up his sleeve. "My clan's never really been one for physical combat." he held up his hands in surrender. "I give up. Any real man knows when to admit defeat." Xenon was actually rather happy. He'd gotten to measure his speed against one of the tekkensesai, and what's more he rather liked the irony of a kid like this having such a vicious fighting style... still, now he had to know...how would a Maboroshi versed in Genjutsu, match up against a this tekkensesai? A question for another time.

Raine was stunned when the boy in front of him vanished. He wasn't planning on throwing another punch just in case he really, really hurt Xen. But none the less he was taken aback when he appeared again on the other side of the room. Again the audience that had grown stared in awe trying to figure out the ninjutsu. Raine smiled when the other boy gave up. "That was really cool. I don't know how to do that. I don't think I'd like to give up you know, though. 'Cause well that sissy stuff. But I'm glad I didn't hurt you really bad. And I'm happy I didn't have to move to much either." he pulled down his shirt neck and exposed shredded flesh and stitched skin. His shoulder was bruised badly from the training that morning and he didn't have the energy to keep all this up. He stepped up to the older boy, taking off one of his Aian Nakkurru, and extending his hand. "Nice fighting with you."
(K off to bed, I've gotta get up early)
