.::TsukiShe hides behind her dyed hair...
Tsuki nodded at the explanation - it made sense - and smiled a bit at the "ex" joke, though it was only for the benefit of the teacher. She was feeling like her usual self - a cold, vacant shell whose only skill was studying. Though she had not delved much into why she felt this way, she attributed it to Amir. He had been her reason to smile, but something was interfering like a cloud. 'Speaking of clouds...'
Determined, she began to lift a mass of water in the air, taking only about a third of the water in the bowl, and attempt what he had done earlier. She separated the water into smaller and smaller drops, but that was all she could manage. Any further than drops and she would lose control over the little water she had. Unattended blobs would fall into the bowl as she struggled on one section. She noticed this and tried to prevent the water from falling, but her lack of focus and distress caused not only those sections to fall but also the section that she had been working on. Everything was now in the bowl; all her work counted for naught. She sighed deeply, slumped back in her seat, and did nothing else but stare at her bowl, uninspired.

((Gah! Sorry for the wait T.T Jin/Ryuu, I hope you don't mind that I scooted everyone outside))
Liriale had strode into the library, interupting the deep conversation Leah and Amir were having, only to pause at the sight of Leah's and Amir's flushed faces. "Egads, you both look like you have just gotten off a roller costar ride!" Leah's eyes widened in realization that the answer to her and Amir's symtoms was standing in front of her. "Did you make the medicine for elemental fatigue? We will definitely be needing some." She softly asked Liriale. "Medicine? Lunar eclipse? GAH!”Liriale smacked her forehead. "That would explain why Kamen was acting like a narcoleptic! Neverfear, I had a fresh batch made last week and its strength lasts longer, I tested it on myself and seem to be alright. Let me just n** up to the infirmary to grab some of the bottles.”
Sprinting back down the stairs with two little glass bottles, each holding shimmering liquid. “Drink it up and you should feel better in no time! I have to head back to the office, both Phenia and Lilith are green faced and puking. Madam Bones is administering them some of the medicine as well. Also, Leah, Aura is in the infirmary and will most likely miss class today." And with that, Liriale sprinted out of the library and up the marble staircase in a hurry, knowing that the school janitor would be livid with the mess he would have to clean up.
“Ah that feels so much better!" Amir sighed as the world seemingly stopped feeling like a dizzy spin top. “Same here,” Leah said as she checked her watch. “I believe Professor Puff has bored my class into a stupor long enough. I shall go heard them to the outside clearing, if you could prepare the area for our lesson, please.” Amir nodded and strode out of the library with a springy step. He couldn’t wait to tell Tsuki that she didn’t need to worry about him being a stumbling health hazard.
Leah opened the door of her classroom and smiled at Professor Puff, who promptly bowed out. “Please excuse my tardiness class, we shall continue with our lesson outside. Please follow me.” Leah instructed as she led her students back downstairs and outside to the clearing, where not long ago they had there flying lesson with balancing on tree trunks which had protruded out of the grassy ground. This time the tree trunks of various heights were spread out, but kept within the circumference of a traced out circle. The layout seemed very similar to that of Stonehenge, except made out of trees instead of stone and a mound of dirt was spread across the middle like a brown line cutting the area in half. Kamen had been animatedly talking to Amir as he wiped dirt off his hands and onto his pants. “Ah, Nic, thank you for preparing the course again. I see that you seem unaffected by the celestial movements.” Leah remarked as she paused in front of the arena. “Heh, actually I dozed off while Liriale was talking to me, after that I realized that it must be the moon so I received some medicine from Madam Bones. Lucky for me, I got out there before the seasick twins tumbled in.” Nic grinned.
Leah smiled slightly and turned around to announce to the class. “Alright, today we will be putting together the balance, flight, and wind manipulation you have all been practicing. Amir please bring the case.” Amir bent over, picking up what looked to be a large sized rustic trunk, which he placed down in front of Leah’s feet. Opening the suitcase so that the students could see what was held within, he reveled three round objects nestled within red satin sheets. Each seemed to be made out of clear crystal with swirling mist captured inside. The three balls varied in size: the largest was the size of a bowling ball, the middle bauble seemed to equal that of a baseball, and the last one was the size of a golf ball. “Now, each of you will be paired up, receive a ball, and will enter the arena. One partner will take up one side while the other assume the opposite end. I will then toss the ball in the air and you will try to use your powers to send it flying into your opponent’s side. The player must then use their manipulation of wind to stop the crystal ball from smashing into the surrounding obstacles, flying outside the designated ring, and will it back to the opposite side. You cannot touch the ball and you will quickly notice that your wind cancels out once it passes over the threshold of the line, so you must concentrate of momentum and aim. That precaution stops additional wind manipulation of the ball once it has entered the opponents territory. Does anyone have any questions before we pair up and begin?” Leah asked.

Jacques bowed his head respectfully. “Of course, Headmaster…You know where to find me if you need any of my assistance…” With that simple statement of kind respect, he left the office lost in his own thoughts. He would need some supplies from his office, and groaned. Nothing was more hellish than that damned building, much less getting what you actually needed…but, while he was out he could get Emma some flowers. She loved lilies…Yes, he would do that for her, his precious Emma. His soul. With that so sappy that some of you now have diabetes thought, he left the school.

Amaya - Earth Magic and Ninjutsu
Amaya smiled as she began to teach the children to grow the bonsai plants. "That's right," she spoke gently, "urge them to grow, but you have to tell it when enough is enough." Amaya could smell burnt grass and frowned slightly. 'fire mages,' she thought slightly annoyed. Once all the students had their plants grown to about five to six inches, she began to instruct them in the art of bonsai, showing them how to pinch the buds away to make the plant stronger.

c h y n a i'm happy and i'm sad, but everything's good Chyna’s eyes slowly parted, her mood groggy. She looked through the glass windows, and noticed that people were moving about. Finally, it dawned on her that the bell had rung. Jumping from her seat, she dashed through the doors to her first class, skipping a few steps at a time as she raced for the third floor. Chyna ran past the first few doors, then skidded to a stop in front of her beginner water class. Panting, she pulled open the door, and fog swirled around her legs. Stepping carefully into the classroom, she noiselessly closed the door and tip-toed to a desk, hoping, almost praying, that the new teacher wouldn’t remark on how she was late. Who, at the moment, was barely visible.
The fog cleared and Chyna had an idea of what to do: make mist. After all, that’s what he’d said, right? Using her focus, she lifted a small amount of water into the air, maybe a fourth of what was in the bowl, then separated the drops into smaller drops. Chyna tried to remember how clouds were formed to get it right. Finally, it came to her, and Chyna smiled as she dropped everything back into her bowl besides ten tiny droplets. Holding her hand out, she moved the nine droplets so that they were suspended just above her palm, to help her work with the first. She tried to pick apart drops that were as small as she could get them. Once she had separated one drop, she worked with the next, and so on and so forth. Soon she had a foot by foot area of almost mist, though the droplets were a tad too big. Her honey-dew colored eyes flicked from her teacher to her mist. “Is this right?” she asked, as the water began to shimmer and shudder.
Chyna grit her teeth, determined to have her mist stay in the air. Each individual droplet was trembling violently as the girl struggled to keep it in the air. Sucking in a deep breath, her head buzzing, she tried to clear her thoughts and focus. She had been doing something right, because the water toned down a notch. Her face was beginning to redden at the amount of effort she was using. Chyna smiled up at her teacher, just as she began to shake herself. ‘No, no…please no!’ she thought as the water gave one last shiver and plopped back into the bowl. She groaned and leaned back into her seat. At least she’d gotten it for a little bit. it's not that complicated i'm just missunderstood

Jin was confused when the teacher wasn't there when the bell started. It made him wonder if class was canceled for the day. A frown formed on Jin's lip but as fast as it had formed it vanished as Leah walked into the room. Speaking about going outside, Jin quickly gathered his backpack and followed the class outside. It was then the area was that similar to their last outside experience, though different set up. Upon hearing Leahs explanation on what they were going to do today, Jin merely smirked at the thought. He loved doing this type of activity. When Amir brought over the chest and opened it up to reveal the balls, Jin looked at Leah when she finished speaking. Taking a step forward, Jin slightly raised his hand before speaking up. "I have one. When can we start?"

Emma - Beginner Air and Astronomy Emma groaned softly, pushing her soft hair back. This lesson was always…interesting, because it tested the student’s natural talent, something that was a huge variable. You either had it, or not. Though, as she looked over her students, she shook her head softly. As much as she wished otherwise, these students would not be ready to move on for…a while, but you never know, she reminded herself. ”Everyone, please, listen up,” She began quietly, and as it usually happened, they quieted down for her. She appreciated it. ”Today is an experiment. Today you will be creating something…Today you will be making cyclones.” She heard a few gasps, and smiled kindly. Emma realized that maybe she should have asked permission for this lesson, but unless someone here was unknowingly a Master, she would be fine. Then, to demonstrate, she called on a cyclone. It grew, and grew. Soon, she was surrounded, and then she banished the winds. ”Now, you all try it.”

Somewhere along the way I lost what I was searching for... Miss Saika passed out small pots of soil to all the students and asked them to place it on their desk. "What do you think of when you think of the word 'Earth' ? Do you think of it as simple soil, rocks and plants or of something greater, something magnificent. Something.." she paused, holding her own hand over the pot on her table as a stem sprouted from it, curling into a flower bud that quickly opened to reveal a rose, "Wonderful? By now, you have all possibly developed a connection with the natural world. With nature, with your honest to real, completely natural surroundings. Perhaps you take comfortable solitude with plants or find yourself gingerly speaking to trees in your backyard. It's all in the connection..." she spoke as she walked around the room.
"What I'm going to ask you to try today is test the limit of that connection. Look at that bowl of soil in front of you and speak to it. Mentally or loudly, if you like. Put your hand above it in the air and try and see if you can make it rise, move, even the slightest..." she smiled at the students, "The important thing is to feel the force inside you. To feel the slight bubbling excitement and to build upon that feeling. Together, we'll learn to strengthen that bond and learn the basics of using it... Any questions... ?"...Have I found it here?

The_Sweetest_Sensation "What I'm going to ask you to try today is test the limit of that connection. Look at that bowl of soil in front of you and speak to it. Mentally or loudly, if you like. To feel the slight bubbling excitement and to build upon that feeling. Together, we'll learn to strengthen that bond and learn the basics of using it... Any questions... ?" Evee glances down at the pot that is placed before her. Although she doesn't show it, the instructors words are registering somewhere in the back of her mind, even if not on a conscious level. "What do you think of when you think of the word 'Earth' ? Pale irises stare into the dark soil resting in the small clay pot. Somewhere deep inside of her, she feels the life emanating from the micro-organisms that lay nestled beneath the surface of the dirt. She feels the dormant energy from the miscellaneous wildflower seeds that were present in the mixture when it was originally collected. "Do you think of it as simple soil, rocks and plants.."Simple.. earth was anything but simple.. the mind boggling complexity blended into diverse mix of broken rock particles, altered by years, decades, or even centuries of environmental and chemical conditions, that now exist as a combination of mineral and organic constitutes sitting in this adobe coloured crock on her desk. Slowly Evee raises her eyes, bringing her gaze to scan over the faces of the various other students in the room. Some of them look bored, doodling in their notebooks or scribbling notes to their neighbor. Others are examining their small pot with dubious interest, seeing nothing out of the ordinary with the unenthusiastic vessel. But most of them are simply watching the teacher, paying close attention to whatever point she is attempting to make. None of them understand."..something greater, something magnificent." Evee feels the flare of life as the instructor focuses her energies on unfurling the rose. A rose.. that is not magnificent. Just like every other flower, it was simply a pretty weed. In a blink of existence, it will wither and die; it's rotting membranes will be absorbed back into the earth from which it sprung. The earth that has seen many such organisms burst into all forms of life, and will be there to devour each life as it crumbles under the merciless passage of time. "Something... wonderful"Evee's gaze returns to the little clay pot. A voice deep within her mind echoed the words, only as they repeated, they changed. Something... powerful..Evee's pale irises darken as they begin to flicker with the remnants of an ancient fire. A fire that once had filled her soul and given her life. Her gaze intensifies, boring deep into the surface of the soil to unlock the secrets hidden within. Suddenly a loud crack resounds throughout the small classroom as the pot on her desk shudders and splits. The earth within expanding and fusing, hardening to the point of petrification, causing the wall of the restrictive little urn to fracture.

Amaya - Earth Magic and Ninjutsu
Amaya smiled as she watched her students experimenting with their bonsai. She couldn't help but wonder why the world was such a vexing thing. The way life seemed the cry for the blood of the weak and the depraved. She wondered whose concept of good and evil became the basis rule of thumb. She wondered it that person was some great man or just some lowly criminal trying to get away with his own great crime. She wondered if in the end even a woman such as herself, cursed to be part of a living shadow, part of a world she never wished to be born into...could find happiness in the little things. Little things like the smell of a rose, or the laughter of children, or even the fluttering of a heart when someone says that they care. She thought of these things as she watched the sky, her students unaware of the internal battle that waged within their teacher. Blanket around slender shoulders, red hair pinned back haphazardly by cherished 'clippies', a mug of hot chocolate in tanned hands, slippers on toe-socked feet, and a sunrise reflecting in pink eyes. Yes, indeed, things were fabulous out on the back lawn of the University.
Ellena closed her eyes, humming a random tune to herself as she took a sip of her chocolaty drink, thinking back on her day. She had been spending it doing nothing but training, hanging out with friends, dancing, and just sitting around and admiring nature, and at the moment she was thinking of taking up this schedule on a daily basis. Relaxing with nature was one of her favorite things to do, and she had even skipped out on a few things that she had planned the week before just to sit outside and lay on the grass, play with the flowers and such. She would like to do things like that every day, since it gave her time to think about random things, such as how she would create her next dance, and how she might improve her skills. But, sadly, she didn't have much time to do that nowadays, since her schedule would be too hectic at times. She hoped that it would lighten up soon. Setting her drink down next to her, she yawned and looked over at the barely-there sun, licking her lips.
"It's about five thirty then..." she said somewhat sleepily, rubbing at her eyes with the side of her hand, which had been balled up into a loose fist. Soon enough, she would be laying down onto her side with one arm underneath her head, and she would be falling fast asleep.
~~
But not too long after that, she would be waking up. At around nine thirty, to be exact. Her eyelids opened to be greeted by the bright sun, and it wouldn't be more than two seconds before she jumped up, knocking over her -now cold- hot chocolate. She sprinted from her little sitting area, bounding into the building and running up to her bedroom, slamming the door behind her and running around crazily, rushing herself to get ready and hurry to class. Hair straightened, make-up done, and outfit chosen with her best half-awake sense of style, she was soon running down the halls of the University, book bag slung over one shoulder and her arms swinging back in froth as she ran. She had already gone by the classroom that she usually took class in, so she had figured out on a split decision that class was being held outside today. She let her inner sense of direction lead her to where class would most likely be held -though that turned out to be wrong- but eventually she spotted her teacher, Amaya. She sighed with relief, jogging over to the woman, not paying attention to her classmates for the moment.
"I am so sorry that I'm late! I stayed up late, and I fell asleep and I had to get ready in a hurry and now I'm late and I'm sorry!" the words came out in a slurry rush, and she took a deep breath afterwards, hoping that she wouldn't get points taken off for her tardiness.

Amaya - Earth Magic and Ninjutsu
Amaya looked up at the panicking girl with a smile, "Don't worry about it, its too nice of a day to be fretting about a little tardiness. Just try to go to bed before the crack of dawn," she laughed a bit as she held up a pot for the girl and explained the instructions once again, "Go and find some soil that fits your energy, if the soil calls to your power it is what you want for your bonsai. Once you do that I will show you how to grow your tree." Amaya wasn't about to punish a girl just because she was late once, although if she was late when she was this age, it would have been seven miles of running and a lashing to boot. That was the different with her upbringing, she had to suffer so she figured that she wouldn't make other peoples lives difficult just because hers was. Once the girl would take the pot, she would fold her hands onto her lap and focus on pouring some of her magical energies into her own bonsai tree. It wasn't that she was trying to make it grow, she was simply taking the excess energy in her body and making use of it by storing it within the tree for later purpose. She had the urge though, once the students were done to show them what a earth mage could do with plants.

k e n n abeginner fire && strings Blonde hair sways back and forth as the short, fairy-like female walks through the classroom, straightening the desks and adjusting the minor details to perfection. The bell rings, and students rushed into the compact classroom, soon enough, some desks were occupied, and the flow of students stopped. A smile gently crossed her lips, and she cleared her throat to begin. "Alright Class," she said, beginning her lesson. The children quieted on que. Standing, she walked to the front of the class as she talked, clasping her hands in front of her. "Today, we're going to see what you can do... So the starting challenge is to manipulate fire to do what you want it to. Control is key if you want to succeed at your element. What we are going to work on is taking your fire into a sphere," as she said this, she drew the flame from her candle and formed it into a sphere. "And once you do this, you manipulate it. For example, seperating it..." Kenna spilt the ball into two, then four seperate fire balls. "Or you can get it to set alight whatever you wish." The ball reformed back into one, and flew back to the candle wick, lighting it with a bright orange flame.
Smiling, she brushed her hair behind her shoulder. "Now, today you are going to work on multiplying your fire, and controling each flame. On your desks you will find four small candles, and one large one." The small female snapped her fingers and each larger candle lit up. "Your job is to take the flame from the bigger candle, split the fire into four seperate flares, and then light each of the smaller candles. This may seem simple, but you have to learn how to maintain control of your element when you have to focus on more than one flame. Enough talk," said she, clapping her hands, "Let's get started, shall we?" The few students looked up at her, then got straight to work. After a moment, she returned to her seat and surveyed her class.
Most of the student had taken the assigned task on with full force and had nearly lit each of the four candles. Soon enough, an average sized female's hand shot up into the air, and the hand belonged to Mackenzie Arithne. "I think I've gotten it, Miss Flarre. See? All my candles are lit!" The female grinned triumphently as a boy, obviously her brother named Aidan scowled. "You got done at the same time as me, Kenzie! Miss Flarre, I got it done FIRST!" The teacher rolled her eyes as the two siblings began to fire back and forth at eachother, their comments as hot as the element they wielded. "HEY! Stop. Now, you both completed the assignment, which is all that matters. Hush up now, or I'll send you to the Headmaster." This was no threat at all. The worst he would probably do was offer them a cup of tea. Chuckling quietly, she watched as the two siblings shut their mouths quickly and watched their candle's flames, silent and sorry.
She ran her fingers through her hair as she watched others manipulate their flames. Some had trouble keeping their fire suspended in air, while others had issues seperating the flame. She instructed them on how to do it properly, and they began to get it more than before. Smiling contentily, she tapped her fingers on her desk while waiting for the others to finish up. She began planning her next assignment, since her students seemed to be understanding this one.
