Kioko's seal was surging. no one knew about it, and it was using crow's ki signature to help Kioko stay alive. it was a burning sensation to her body, and she felt as though she was having a very high fever. Kioko moved in crow's arm. it was way to hot. soon she would be waking.

Crow felt Kioko's form budge against his arm, luckily that would mean she was still alive, and would probably recover in full given some time. He would have called out if he could, it seemed the immediate threats were gone. In any case he moved forward, the others may well have gone on ahead already, when Kioko awakened she would be able to help him find the others if she had the strength. At the moment he was only truly wishing that Kioko and Strobe recovered fully, he was not sure, but this recent battle seemed to have pushed their bodies to a point where the serum Doctor K had provided was worked out of their bodies.

Ventus woke on the ground of the clearing where the battle had taken place. He had been knocked out by some sort of energy blast he hadn't been suspecting earlier. Now, he was awake, and he sat up sleepily, he rubbed his forearm against his arm and let out an unbelievably loud yawn.
"Angelo?" He asked, glancing around. "Angelo? Angelo!" He looked around more frantically. He shook some of the leaves off of himself. Apparently, he'd been covered some time while he was asleep. "ANGELO!" he bellowed, slightly shaking a few of the nearby trees. His voice did not cause the other to reappear, however. Soon, tears were forming at the corners of his eyes as he began to feel alone and abandoned by the only one he'd ever been connected with.

Ventus saw one of the ones he'd been looking for approach him. His scaled skin hackled up, thinking that he would have to fight the man. When he saw no threat in the other's eyes, he sniffed loudly and wiped away the tears streaming down his face. He stood and walked forward, showing the man that he would follow him, and oblivious to the dirt that hung on him all the way down his back.
"Hi." He said, his voice that of a very upset child which had lost a parent in a crowd. He wiggled four goliath fingers at Crow, a crude wave.

Crow shook his head at Kioko, she probably should try to speak only as much as necessary right now, though currently she was probably the only one who could actually calm Ventus down. Crow nodded his head to Ventus, the only way he could affirm that he was friendly. Kioko was very confused it seemed, she would likely never remember what happened here, he wondered if Ventus had seen enough to at least explain to her. Crow could feel no more unfamiliar Ki signatures around, perhaps they could stay here for awhile until they were truly ready to move.

Kioko tried answering at the same time, but she coughed so it came out weird.
"i do-couhg-n't even know what happened" she said hoarsely again.
she turned to crow, wishing that he was able to talk right about now.

Tears began to stream down Ventus's face faster now. "Where's Angelo?" He asked again, like it would change the answer. He asked again, more urgently. Then again, and again, until he was on the verge of a full blown temper tantrum. He couldn't figure it out, he just couldn't have left him. Angelo was his only friend.

Strobe woke slowly to find himself in aches and pains everywhere. His arms ached, his legs, his back, but most of all, his head throbbed with and unbearable white-hot razor slice every other second. He tried not to focus on the migraine, but instead on where he was. As he looked around, he saw the blurry vision of the kind he'd only experienced when inside the Overworld, the sub-dimension accessed by Angelo when he slips out of perception. He then became acutely aware that he was draped across someone's shoulder. A thin bony shoulder that could only belong to one person.
"Dammit, Angelo. Was this part of your plan all along? Weaken me with a huge attack, then bring me to your superiors?"
"Nope," Angelo said as he ran through the brush, "Pure improvisation. Works wonders."
Strobe shakes his head in disgust before settling it back onto Angelo. Nothing much he could do in a situation like this. Then a thought hits him.
"Where's Ventus?"
Angelo is silent for a moment. "He got hit, knocked out. I can't carry him or drag him, so I had to leave him behind. He'll be harmless as long as know one maddens him."
"And how are they supposed to know how to deal with a super-powered retard twice their age?"
Slam!
The action was fast, and Strobe was on the ground, a good six feet away from Angelo. "Never call him that again." He said to the fallen plasmakinetic. "He's not a retard. He just needs a little more attention, that's all."
"However you put it, he's got a child's mind, and he's easy to piss off. I just hope you haven't killed anyone."
