Mastema nodded at the response, at least somewhat understanding why Nana had made herself stop to consider it first; it was, to say the least, unlike most people to simply hand down a relic from a lifetime ago. Mastema closed his hand around both of the bracelets, holding one with his thumb and fingers and the other in his palm. With his free hand, he gently grabbed Nana's right forearm, then took her hand, and finally slid one of bracelets over her hand until it was snugly at her wrist. Shortly after, he took Nana's left hand and placed the other bracelet on her in a similar manner. When both were on Nana he released her hands, returning one of his to the now empty box.... or so he believed it was empty.

*Nana would look at both her wrists after the bracelets had been placed on them. The light from the window danced off the edges of the bracelets, and needless to say it was slightly hypnotic. Once Nana had snapped out of her gaze, she placed a hand across Mastema's chest, to let it rest on his right shoulder. Her other hand would be pulled up to her chest, clenched lightly, lieky over where her heart was. Hopefully Mastema would keep the box there. The bracelets could be placed there, when ever she took them off. In that way, she'd always know they were safe*

The hand which Mastema didn't have on the small box went around Nana's side and rested on the small of her back. He could tell she adored the shining trinkets and was more sure that she would care for them better than he had. "Cherish them as you will. I am merely glad that they are in the care of someone who they should truly belong to. And I do not believe there could be anyone more lovely to do so." Mastema's sweet talk was probably nothing strange to Nana, but what accompanied it was different than Mastema had ever shown before: Mastema smiled to Nana. The serenity of his smile could easily match the happiness that it seemed to portray. There had been many instances where Mastema had expressed his joy in some way, but this could only signify the difference that these gifts had from everything else.

*Well, there was something that hadn't ever happened before. Mastema... smiling? Usually it would be a smirk, ot slight up-turning of the lip, but a full smile? This indeed was a different occassion, and one that Nana should remember. With the lightest of sighs, Nana rested her head upon Mastema's left shoulder and shut her eyes. She wanted to remember the feeling that was present in the room at that very instant. Mastema looked happy, truly happy and that was something that didn't seem to happen every day. Once her eyes were closed, Nana would remain silent for the timw being, just soaking it all in*

Mastema had more than enough time to let Nana stay where she was for quite some time. His hand would remain where it was, and Nana would feel a light kiss on her forehead after some minutes had passed.

Looking back to the box once more, Mastema started to close it when he noticed that the bottom of the box seemed to move. Raising his brow, he opened it again, reached in, and found out that what he had thought was the bottom of the inside of the box was actually just a purple velvet cloth wrapped around something else. With his thumb, Mastema pulled back the edge of the wrapped cloth just enough to see a glimpse of a vibrant silver part of whatever it was. He smirked softly, not needing to pull off the cloth completely. "Hmmhmm..... I had entirely forgotten this even existed..... and I certainly did not realize that Slayer had held onto this."

*It was only natural to assume, that Nana would inquire into what Mastema was talking about. Opening her eyes, and searching with them for only a moment, Nana's eyes would fall upon the box again. There was something else inside? Nana could only wonder, until Mastema told her. Slayer had a few things belonging to Mastema then, or so it appeared. It was a wonder how many more, and if he would choose to give any more of the items away*

Mastema took a moment to think, but then set the object and cloth on his lap. Peeling back the two flaps of cloth that covered the front of the object. The best way to describe what it was was simply a mask, though it wasn't one that covered one's entire face. The face plate on Mastema's lap was completely made of metal and was designed to cover the eyes and upper-half cheeks when worn. The mask wasn't incredibly glossy, but it did have a unique shine to it. Instead of being a smooth curve all the way around the face, there was a relatively sharp angle between the eyes of the mask. The eyes themselves were made of some sort of glass which reflected like a merror from the front. "This is probably the oldest possession I have; of course with how much I wore it, one could call it less of a possession and a part of my character back then. Through my youth, I always wore this mask where ever I went, and that is an understatement. Before I put it down once and for all, I do not believe there was a soul around that saw me without it." If what he said was true, then virtually no one Mastema had known in his past had seen his face until his youth had ended. It was only speculation, unless one asked, as to why he wore it consistently.

So... another piece of your past is it? Hnn... sometimes.... sometimes nostalgia can be a good thing. A reminder of "what was", to the now "what is". It's a good chance to reflect on the person you were.

*Nana had few personal possessions to begin with, so to say the same to her would be a little difficult. There was her dagger, but Nana had that with her most of the time, it wasn't an item she hadn't seen for years on end. For her... it would need to be something different, but she was happy that Mastema had a chance to reflect on himself. Whether or not Mastema felt the same way, she didn't know. When Nana spoke again, her comment wasn't really meant to be taken as a direct question, more of something she was asking herself. Mastema could tell her, or not, it was up to him and he could always say something at a later time of his choosing aswell*

Mastema chuckled lightly at the half comment, half question. His hand stroking Nana's back, he just picks up and examines the mask for a few moments. The padding on the inside of the mask was obvious. "Indeed. It would be best left that I had some..... 'unique' characteristics as a lad," was the only answer Nana would receive. Of course, the fact that Mastema had oddities now and in the past was undisputed. What exact part the mask played, no one knew.

Yuri blinked suddenly as he heard a light tapping noise, letting his hand fall to his side as he sat there. He paused for a moment before turning to discover Tyrsais sitting there watching him. Yuri seemed surprised by this somehow, blinking to clear his eyes before cocking his head slightly to the left as he watched the man who had saved him. "....Tyrsais?......." he asked softly, recalling the name from memory as he looked at the man before him. There was still so much going on within him that he was struggling to keep up, but still he was trying to focus...

*Nana's only response would be a light nod, and "hnn" following after. She didn't have an urge to dig deeper into his past for the moment, so a nod would sufice. Nana felt it best for Mastema to tell her on his own, there was no need to bring up anything painful or discomforting. On the reverse, Mastema was free to ask Nana anything about her past aswell, even if she may have not thought it all to interesting to anyone else. Meanwhile in the library, Trilla had asked Zio for some colored pencils and was now coloring up a storm in a book of black and white images. Whether or not this was a coloring book or someother important work.... who could say for sure...*

Mugiri glowered. His master was to busy to train him, lest talk to him in purpose. He started smashing through a wall, his newfound strength making the walls at least malleable. He finally reached the outer air, and the rush of non-metallic air made him gasp. the view was amazing, even as he plummeted downwards, spreading his wimgs at the right moment, and alighting on a building, but stumbling, the flight still new to him.

Tyrsais

::Tyrsais was still sitting as still as could be staring with a sort of intense look at the young man. Yuri would notice Tyr's expression would relax slightly as he heard him speak. He would nod lightly in agreement with what had been said so evidently that was his name. He didn't move his lips an inch yet his words would come across clearly to Yuri whom might now realize the extent of the bond they shared::

Indeed I am... just as you are Yuri. Names given to us by one or another for a reason no longer as clear as it used to be... Forgive me though I am being rude. I am Tyrsais Himura and this is my home, I recovered you shortly outside of the city in which I reside. Apparently by your movement I seem to have restored your health, thats a good first step.

Yuri nodded slowly, opening his mouth to speak before shutting it quickly, watching Tyrsais for a moment. His eyes then took a slightly lighter hue as he concentrated, trying to find the bond as Tyrsais had used it. I remember... you saved me somehow by sharing your power with me.... I am sorry if I seem confused, but I have no memory of my past and all of this is quite confusing.... His telepathy, while much weaker and softer than Tyrsais' had been, came through clearly as Yuri struggled to understand the limits of his new body....
