"I'll help!" Yugi said excitedly, dashing after Kawi. Ryou glanced towards Khalid, who shrugged slightly. Atem had quickly gone to Ember's side, wondering what he could do to help.
"Isn't it a bit-- early?" Ryou couldn't help but ask hesitantly. Perhaps his sense of time was a bit skewed from being dead and all, but Ember had hardly been showing when Khalid had attacked her, and that had seemed like only a little while ago.

"...I..I dont know!!!" ember said, she was panicing. She had never exspeted this....not at all. She was scared as hell.
Once driving the car around front kawi came back in "Ok..Ok...Sombody pick her up and bring her to the car!"

Atem scooped Ember up into his arms and Ryou gave them a worried look before turning to Khalid, speaking in a low voice. "This doesn't seem right. She was just at the doctors-- they would have known if the baby was going to be born today!" Khalid shushed him and instructed him to go locate Rei. Atem, meanwhile, had gently set Ember into the backseat of the car. Yugi had grabbed some towels on his way out and had spread them out.

"Oh god...Oh god..." ember muttered grasping atem tightly.
"Ok atem get in and shut the door" kawi said in the car and ready to go.

Atem did so, looking very concerned. Yugi didn't know if he should be scared or excited. He sat in the front with Kawi, peeking over his shoulder at Ember and Atem every now and then.
"She's having the baby? Really?" Rei asked, bouncing up and down a little. "This is so exciting! Can we go to the hospital too? I want to go!" She had completely forgotten about her questions on Yugi and Atem's alikeness by now.
"We'll see." Ryou said, wondering what it would take for her to calm down. "We should wait for a while, then call Yugi and see how things are going."

"What...What if hewas right?" ember said softly "I dont want him to be right!" Embersaid grasping atems hand.
Once everybody was in kawi sped away twards the hospital.

Atem gripped Ember's hand back, mainly as a way to prevent her from breaking it. "Things will be fine." He said in a voice he hoped didn't reveal how worried he was. Damn Ryou-- why did he have to say things like that?

Ember burried her headinto the crook of atemms neck and started crying softly.
Kawi slammed on the breaks as the got to the hospital after exiting soon doctors had rushed out witha strecher.

Atem held Ember close until they got to the hospital, in which case he helped her out of the car and passed her off to the doctors.

After rushing her in the looked over her. She checked her in and brought her ino a hospital room. Soon a doctor came to atem. "Mr.Moto?" he questioned "Ember and child are going to be just fine. Her water broke a bit early. The baby is going to be permature but should be just fine. You should come in with your wife."

"There aren't going to be any... serious complications?" Atem asked anxiously as he followed after the doctor, not even bothering to say that they weren't married. He didn't care. "They're going to be fine?"

"The baby will have to stay in an incubator for a few months.Otherwize they will both be ok. Many babys are born prematurly and come out just fine." the doctor said leaving him into a delivery room where ember as cussing out a nurse while squessing her hand.

Atem approached quickly and took the nurse's place, to let his own hand be offered as a sacrifice to Ember's grip. "How are you holding up?"

Atem considered patting Ember's head just to be irritating, but decided that now wasn't the best time for it. His child was being born--he could do idiotic things later. "If you kill anyone they'll have to add it to the bill." He said easily, wondering how much more pressure his hand could withstand before it snapped. "Let's just worry about other things, okay? Do you need me to get you anything?"
