It might be because he has the gold banked from mining, and the gold smithing gauntlets that give double experience. I can't see the photo at the moment (at work), so I don't know if he's smithing at Edgeville for the chance at smithing double the bars at once for the teeny bit faster.

once I get 85 fishing and 86 cooking, I'm changing my gloves back to Gold Smith gloves. not that I have any gold atm, but I have a feeling I'll be getting some if I go for 85 mining. :]

Sold all that I got from Mining, which is good because I sold them all for more than 480 each. Bought all 137k Gold Ore needed for 99 Smithing for 370. Why am I doing it? Well it's a 99, and it's extremely cheap at the moment, Addy Plates being at 16gp/xp+ can gtfo Edit:  Here is all the gold I have left to smelt razz Edit2:

I did MOB for the Imbue abilites I can buy for my Berserker Ring. I have actually yet to meet a person who actually likes the minigame besides the people in the top 10 or so, so I really wouldn't reccomend going for 300 score.
