Yeah...Still pretty good wind force though. But what we are worried most about is the water...
I'm probably going to be in the basement tonight/tomorrow hauling water out.

Suppose. I've hauled water out of the basement though before. My cat was floating around on a box when that happened. : P

I agree.
So what's it like having a basement? It's super rare to have one where I live. Most of the houses sit on volcanic rock.

Woa, no basements in Washington?
Basements are awesome, especially when they're finished [ours isn't] but they're like caves. Cold and damp. Good for storing stuff or hiding in. Annoying when it rains too much though.

Well at least on the East side of the state. You really need to remember East vs West. West is the carefree dog and East is the uptight cat. There are two things wrong with what people think about Washington. 1. Liberal state (Only on the west side) 2. The Evergreen state (Only on the west side) 3. It's Washington State not Washington (So what my state is the only state that can't be on a first name bases. Damn you Connecticut State. LOL.)
Anyways enough ranting. I wish I lived in something like that. It would make it much easier to deal with the fact that lights give me headaches.

Yeah but then you wouldn't see in the basement without any light...There are usually only small windows at the very top. They're good to hide in from tornadoes...and hurricanes maybe. Nobody ever really talks about the Washington state too much. You're too far away D:
There's a town called Washington too. Probably tons of towns named Washington.

I want to be a cave troll.
I was talking about Washington DC. Think about it when someone says their going to Washington where do you think they are going? Washington state or Washington DC?
We talk to you guys all the time. Points at American History book.

You be that cave troll. That's because we are one of the original 13. Massachusetts gets all the attention though. Pfffft. We just have the Charter Oak junk. Lots of history in my town though. Leaf peepers drive me nuts. Usually I hear just DC around here. It's shorter than saying the whole thing. Or I hear 'those fools down in Washington' But that obviously isn't the state because Washington state isn't down, it's up. I always remembered your state when I was younger for state tests because it looks like a whale to me. Thunderstorm here already D:

I love thunderstorms. heart
We remember the same of our state the same way. sweatdrop
You're place is odd with their naming thing. I was traveling and this person asked me where I was from and I answered with just Washington and they are like 'oh I bet you've go to the Smithsonian a lot'. Yes I've gone to that museum but I was like 8 months old.

We're odd with our naming thing? [doesn't get it] Only went there once? Museums are fun, but I'm not a big fan of tour guides. I like to putz around.

Do you have to have a tour guide? I'm a history major I say that I don't need one when I get above 3.0 with teachers who are at least good. The lowest I've ever gotten was 2.8 and that wasn't a very good teacher. She needed to be more organized.
