Damn I'm tired. I really want some warm, buttered bread too though.

Sleep first, then bread. If I can get to sleep, that is.

Dude. Who speaks Japanese here? [SOMEBODY HERE HAS TO. t__t]

I just spent an HOUR translating this for my sister, but I'm not sure if it's entirely correct. If someone could check for me, that'd be great. xDD

Quote:

My translation
The Japanese release of the number one hit movie of America this winter, CG-animated film "Happy Feet" (director: George Miller), is finalized to come out in March, and in the Japanese dubbed version, Tegoshi Yuya (19) from NEWS will have his voice acting debut. Last year on November 17th, the enterprise revenue of Happy Feet exceeded that of the pan-American presentation of "007: Casino Royale" which was released on the same day. Tegoshi will be in charge of the protagonist penguin Mumble's voice.

Mumble's voice, in the original English version (subtitles will be presented simultaneously), was played by Elijah Wood (25) from Lord of the Rings. Tegoshi is a capable actor, his performance expressing his character's enjoyable charm and friendliness.

Tegoshi says, "In pan-America, the movie was often evaluted as a good movie to watch, and since Hollywood stars voice acted, I was happy and simultaneously felt pressured." In addition, he expressed joy. "The wonderful movie's voice actors made me feel proud. 'HAPPY'!" Post-recording (adding sounds to a soundtrack after the film) will start at the middle of this month.

Among the 6 people in NEWS, Tegoshi has established himself as a skilled singer, but Mumble was created with a "fatal tone-deafness". This natural gap also seems enjoyable for Tegoshi.

Ugh, ******** kanji. I'm kinda half dead right now, but from what I can tell it seems correct.

I really should start studying again. I've gotten rusty as hell.

Goodness, I don't feel up to doing this right now. Maybe I should've taken that nap my body was requesting around two. <_<;

Doodling, however, sounds like a wonderful idea. Bah.

Why does my tea taste like coffee? x_X

Trust me, everyone is terrible at kanji.

Years, years and years. I was in middle school back when I first started, but I suck at reading it. I can understand most normal conversations when spoken to me, but I have a bad habit of replying in English. Oh well, so many conversations with exchange students and we both just mutually figure it helps us learn the language.

But it's been a long time since I've really studied or spoken it at all. My friends and I speak casual Japanese, but it's not like it's something that comes up often enough for me.

I've only been at it for a year and a half, but I guess I'm at "intermediate" level, which seems to translate into to Japanese 3-4-ish...

I don't get a lot of speaking experience or anything though. neutral
Most of my "hands on" experience just comes from J-pop and dramas.

It's really awkward for me to make conversation with exchange students. xD
Not only am I shy and socially awkward, I tend to have NOTHING in common with who I'm talking to.
Except one guy, we talked for a whole hour cause we're both musicians and videogame enthusiasts. He was funny, he liked drinking a lot and told me stories about how he'd go out for the night, then wake up in the morning and realize he'd been sleeping on the street.

Well, thats not bad. At that level you could probably catch (and infer) most of a conversation, which is really the important part. Past that it's mostly memorization anyway. Besides, things like dramas help you familiarize yourself with people talking and how they speak, which is important.

And yeah, it was always hard for me to talk to the exchange students. Luckily they were pretty cool, and back in the day I had classes with a few of them and we felt comfortable talking to one another I guess. Plus, the ones I met were totally cute girls and that made it a bit easier on me on wanting to talk to them. Still had nothing in common, but I'll be damned if I wasn't going to try.

Though, I felt really bad because this one girl's name was "Eri" but I kept hearing it wrong and thinking her name was "Eddy". My first thought was "That is a damned weird name for a girl....but...whatever. Kinda cute in it's own way." Took me until she left to realize her name was Eri, I felt bad about that. She was nice, and at least let on like she didn't notice if she did.

And man, that dude sounds pretty cool. He sounds like guys I hang out with.

I really should just steal the scanner from the other room in place of the one I have hooked up now. I can't ever get the damn thing to scan to the size I want.
And while I'm at it I should take a few pictures and upload them I haven't taken any photo's of myself since early november. sweatdrop

Should I finish that book now, or wait until later? Will I even still be awake later? I haven't slept since friday. emo

I wish I had some more/better looking clothes, hell my avatar is richer and better dressed then I am in real life.
If only life were like a videogame, I might actually get somewhere. wahmbulance
